Epic place. Great pool table, clean bathrooms, stiff drinks for cheap. If you’re a dive bar fan, and maybe seeing a show at Tacoma Dome, this is your spot.

Because its right by my work Ill go there on my lunch break for a cheap beer and some good food. The $ 2 tacos are the right size for the right price, the burgers are great, and so is the fish and chips.

Now this place I really enjoyed. If you’re looking for a waigu steak and a 3 yr zin, probably not the place for you. I popped in for a beer. High Life got tapped out the night before, so I opted for the replacement PBR. $ 2.50 each. It was obvious I was the only non-​local, but was warmly welcomed. Tuesday bingo night. Though I didn’t play, the wonderful young lady running the show was happy to explain all and encouraged me to play. Very friendly atmosphere. I did not try any of the food, but would climb the hill to visit again.

Stop what you’re doing and get over to Acme! Chris really turned this tavern into a Tacoma landmark, the food has never disappointed yet & is exceptional!

A huge selection of beers & spirits with great happy hours all through the week and it’s your only option for a great place to watch our Seahawks every year!

Great food and drinks at reasonable prices. Great bartenders. Pool table and a couple dart boards to play. Always great place to relax after work. Walking distance to most of the apartments in the area and on the 3 bus route if needed.

I was in Tacoma for a couple days on business and this spot was close to where I was staying. I’m so glad I stumbled on it! It’s totally my kind of dive. Drinks were crazy cheap and strong. Service was excellent. The whole menu looked great — I only tried the mozzarella sticks, but they were perfect. This will definitely be my spot from now on anytime I have to make the trek to Tacoma!

I went here right after the remodel, I’ve never been so sick. The Jameson. …it tasted like they swapped it with well whiskey. It’s normally so smooth and tasty but that night it burned and gave 4 of us heart burn. I wasn’t drunk when I showed up and wasn’t when I left because the booze was so rough. They also took the pole out.

My grandmother had owned this place most of her life till a few years back, so it was a pleasant surprise to see it being called the Acme again, and I was happy a friend wanted to meet there for a drink one night! The last time I was in this place it was during family events as a kid while the place was closed. It was a friday night we stopped in, and the prices were great and atmosphere was fun. I didn’t get a chance to try the food but they had specials and a menu of bar food at great prices. I couldn’t believe they had a happy hour on a Friday night and my drinks were only $ 2.50! definitely can’t wait to bring some more friends there and explore the menu a bit and play some table bowling! The only reason I didn’t give it a perfect rating is because it seems there was only one bartender /​server for the whole place so service was good but maybe not as timely as one would like!

What an amazing place this is! The staff and owners really make you feel like home and are always welcoming. GREAT customer service. Their drink selection is awesome and they even have little snacks you can purchase as well. This tavern makes it affordable for everyone to go out and have some fun with their friends. They also have fun games! Easy location to get to with easy parking. What more can you ask for? I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who enjoys fun people and a good time!

I’ve been out of town for a few months and when I came back I saw that they have remodeled. Went there today to watch the Seahawk game and it is a GREAT place to watch the game!
$ 2.50 Bud Light pounders all game! $ 4 micro drafts and $ 3 domestics!
Give this place a try for your next Seahawks game!

We love this place. There isn’t much for food, but the drinks are tasty and the company is just as good. There is a skee ball game, pool table, and jukebox. I never overspend, as the drinks are super reasonable. If you want a cold beer or mixed drink, go see Steve or Rob. You will not be disappointed.
