Great quick lunch spot in Riverview if you are looking to avoid the chains. The Gyro combo is a good value and the chicken gyro is always excellent.

I walked in with a positive attitude for a good gyro. Boy was I disappointed. The staff and owner was very friendly. But the food is another story. The meat, well its burnt up, dried and basically not edible. The pita was old. It fell apart and crumbled. Kind of like when you take a old stale piece of bread. We will NOT be wasting anymore of our hard earned money here. Instead we will continue to visit the pecks on 301 and Riverview Dr. Please take a look at my pictures.

I went at the end of the night so unfortunately they didn’t have all of the chicken that I wanted. They were accommodating though and gave me what they had. Service is great and fast. The lady working the register was really nice. I didn’t see grape leaves on the menu which is one of my favorite things from Pecks in Riverview. I’ll be back!

Judging from reviews about the original location, figured how much different can it be? Oh, let me tell you… very different! Stopped by an hour before closing time for a quick bite. Ordered the chicken gyro and a trio. Service was mediocre, nice at first but behind the scenes you heard some Language that isn’t exactly to be defined as ‘professional’ and between the lines got the clear hint that ‘they were trying to get out of there.’ Although the portions appeared huge they mostly consisted of lettuce. The chicken gyro had very little meat in it(which was definitely reheated) and I gotta say… Publix chicken tastes 100x better when heated up. The second gyro was just meh. Had better but it was eatable. Overall, I will not be back.

My son talked us into eating here after the bad experience the first time this one was worse. The store is new and was empty when we walked in now I know why. They had a self serve type ordering system that flipped the screen around for you to pay and sign it asks you to add a tip for what counter service .We got our meals and they were awful again the chicken pieces were very small and the sides tasted very generic with no pizaz at all we all left hungry the kids wouldn’t even eat the mac and cheese now that’s bad. I do not see them staying open very long. They used to have a very good product at the old location and the old man would throw in an extra piece of chicken if the pieces were small not this time we will never go back.

First effort with Peck’s. I used Moblie Meals, which if your wanting food from somewhere that doesn’t deliver, but don’t want to fight the traffic they’re the next best solution. Now for Peck’s, the grilled chicken is a healthy choice over the battered fried stuff from the other places, and whatever they are marinating the chicken in is very good. The sides(we ordered collard greens and fried okra, I know so much for healthy) are plentiful. Both were good, nothing special. I also ordered the large Greek salad, very disappointing, half a head of iceberg lettuce, some onions, three Kalamata olives, a wedge of tomato, and a smattering of Feta cheese, and 2 oz of olive oil. I really enjoy a good Greek salad too. All in all, we’ll order from Peck’s again, just maybe not the salad.
