Restaurant is closed. We had a Groupon and reservations for May 31, 2016. Showed up and the place is vacant. I did find a couple of nice chairs near the dumpster. Nothing near the dining experience I was hoping for on my wife’s birthday. The only prix left is the guy that didn’t cancel our reservation.

The setting is very intimate. It’s a very interesting setting. The chef basically gave us a few options to pick from for each course. It was pricey even with the Groupon, but it’s definitely worth it on special occasions or if you want to impress a lady.

We had a wonderful time at 6 Tables last night. My husband was skeptical until the food started coming out, the food completely won him over. With a choice of 4 main courses, 2 soups, and 2 deserts along with the appetizer, salad, and cheese plate there was not a mediocre course served. Our cost after redeeming the Groupon we brought was $ 108 plus tip. We would have spent that much at an ordinary restaurant so this was an incredible meal at an ordinary price. We will return with or without the Groupon.

It was a very nice six course meal. But definitely worth $ 290 to be in a basic strip mall decorated with grandmas mismatched China. The food was good, nothing like you would have anywhere else. I had the filet mignon with mushrooms and a small amount of roasted string beans for my entrée which was delish. But my cheese plate came with roasted almonds in which half were charred! My vegetables in my salad were bitter. For the price of the meal the food should have been perfect. Slightly disappointed!

Received a gift Groupon for Six Tables and loved every minute of our experience. Only 4 of us in the restaurant that night, sociable and congenial Chef Richard walked us through all the courses and wine pairings. Total experience lasted 2.5 hours or so. Started off with a soufflé, choice of soup, salad, entrée(at least 6 choices), cheese plate then choice of 2 desserts. We opted for the wine flight to compliment each course and so glad we did. All was amazing, delicious food and excellent service and explanation. Was surprised at the total bill, even factoring in the Groupon. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet night with a special someone.

Had an absolutely amazing Valentine’s Day dinner at Six Tables. This restaurant provides such a unique and special experience, perfect for couples celebrating or looking for an intimate night out! The food was delicious, and only made better by the fact that the chef and owner personally takes your order, provides reccomendations, and serves your meal! Chef Bottini and his staff provided excellent, food, service, and an overall wondeful experience, going above and beyond to make the evening memorable!

My experience at six Tables was great the food was super delicious. The chef did everything because there were only 3 reservation for the night including mine. I was an experience I’ll say try at least once and enjoy I would go back again one day.

We only heard about Six Tables via a gift certificate my boyfriend received last year. Honestly, we forgot that he received it until recently so we decided to check it out. There are only 6 tables in the restaurant with 1 dinner service at 7:30. We are very used to eating fine dining, but we haven’t had a 6 course meal in quite some time. I fell in love with the quaintness of the room and I enjoyed the plates and glassware as it reminded me of eating at my grandmothers. A few couples were late, and we both were starving so we were anxious to get started. The roasted cauliflower appetizer was amazing. I’m still dreaming about it. It left us dying for more. We throughly enjoyed the owner/servers presentation and whit. My clam chowder was delicious, and the homemade bread with whipped honey butter was the perfect compliment. The salad was light and had an incredible ginger dressing. I ordered the pork and my boyfriend offered the NY strip, both of which were cooked to perfection. The Gouda cheese plate with spicy blueberries and roasted cashews rounded out this pretty perfect meal. I was beyond full at this point, but after taking 1 bite of the delicious latte torte, I found the room to finish it. The music and atmosphere were just great. Neither of us drink alcohol, so our total bill was just over $ 200, and well worth every penny. My only suggestions would be, to require the servers to wear closed toe shoes. Ours was dressed appropriately, but was wearing Birkenstock type shoes. And to have them brush up on their fine dining serving skills such as removing and serving plates etc. This is a must try dining experience and we will certainly be back.

Had a very enjoyable evening, the food was excellent, service very good — as noted a tad expensive(Groupon lessened the pain) but I would really recommend you give it a try.

Six tables has mediocre food at one of the highest price point in the Tampa area. The location is less than great and the interior of the restaurant is old and cheesy. We had a great server which made the experience bearable. The main entrée was a cornish game hen which had decent flavor. We ordered 2 of their full course meals and a bottle of wine. The bill was $ 250 without tip. Save your money and go somewhere else.

I have eaten there several times. Every time I eat there, I enjoy the great experience but also leave a little bit unsatisfied. Let me explain. Dining at six tables is an experience. there are only six tables in the restaurant. Everybody gets a six course meal starting with an appetizer with complimentary champagne. Nice touch. It is then followed by a soup, salad, a main course, cheese and wine. It reminds me of a fancy dinner in a European restaurant. The chef, who is also the owner, comes out and explains the menu and takes your order. He then goes to himself into the kitchen to prepare it. The food is delicious and very well prepared. Sometimes I wish that the dishes were a bit more creative. For the price point, I would expect a little bit more. The few negatives I have about this restaurants are the décor as other reviewers have pointed out. Also, the wine selection is not great.

This was a very fun romantic evening. Given the name«Six Tables» there are really only six tables and one seating. They wait till all parties have arrived then the chef actually comes out gives a history and then describes the courses for the night. All the food was fresh and delicious. As the night goes on the chef will come out to mingle and ensure all parties were satisfied. It is pricey runs about $ 100 per person but really worth it for the food and the experience. Will be back for the next special occasion.

I was in town on business and a friend of mine took me here for dinner. There were 3 of us and it was wonderful! Chef Richard has an awesome personality and he is an incredible chef! We enjoyed every dish and the Guava dessert was the perfect ending to the dinner. I saw that some have given Six Tables negative reviews for the décor being outdated but as someone who travels globally the ambiance and décor is perfect. Six Table reminds me of some of the European restaurants I have visited in Europe. I will definitely come back!

This one is tough because although we very much enjoyed dinner at Six Tables we would not go back unless we had a groupon or something making it cheaper. Perhaps I just don’t understand food pricing but w/tip we ended up paying $ 250 and that seemed a little pricey for the dinner we got. Let’s talk service. The service is great and Chef Richard is full of personality. They do come across as a little scripted though. For example when he served the appetizer and other dishes he went to each table and said the same thing six different times. It’s a small room, he could have served the dish and then explained to everyone what it was. I think they are going for a personal touch but because I could overhear the scripted-ness it took away from what they are trying to accomplish. Now let’s talk location and décor. This restaurant is located in a run down strip mall. If it wasn’t for word of mouth I would have never went here. I probably wouldn’t have even know it was a restaurant based on the exterior. There were many comments in previous reviews about dated décor and chipped dishes. I think this adds to the experience that I believe they are going for. I felt like I was being served a very nice dinner in someone’s home. It was nice but I think this is why I didn’t approve of the price. Now onto Food. The food was great, interesting, and made me want more. Great concepts of flavors, textures, and smells. Interesting combinations and multiple options for soup, main entrée, and desert. I really loved the food. This place is great to experience at least once!

This place was magnificent. I took my fiancée for our 7 year anniversary and we had an absolutely wonderful time. I’ve never tasted food like that before. It was delicious and adventurous. The service was great, and the chef himself was very entertaining. Great place to spend a quiet night with someone you really love!

We had a coupon, which was my main reason for trying this place out. I was apprehensive because of the negative reviews on Unilocal. The décor leaves a lot to be desired. Between the lattice on the windows and ceiling, and the mismatched china and crystal, the place looked like a combo between a grandmother’s house and a bad home ec project. Add that to the location in a remote strip mall, and this was not a place that should command a $ 100/per person pricetag. I will say that the staff is very friendly and prompt. They were very attentive, and we enjoyed our experience. I enjoyed that they poured sparkling wine for all guests upon arrival, and since there were only four customers that night, they topped off the glasses too. However, the food did not live up to the service. Nothing was bad, in fact my husband really enjoyed his crawfish bisque. But nothing was great enough to command the price tag. I didn’t find the food especially creative, other than the cheese plate, and most of the foods served were not very expensive ingredients. I did like the cheese plate, but we were served less than one ounce of cheese!(It came with some overtoasted bread, a strawberry that was coated in cayenne, a few cashews in cardamom, and a pile of raisins.) We brought our own wine having read about the wine list on Unilocal.I don’t understand why a restaurant that charges $ 90/per person for the food only has $ 50 bottles of wine. Corkage was $ 25. For the price, you can definitely do better in Tampa.

Cheap quality food, tacky environment, chipped China all round, spoiled water. Not worth the price they ask for. I order a chocolate soufflé, however, it collapsed it the kitchen. The chef ended up serving me chocolate mousse. He had the nerve to tell me that chocolate mousse is the same as chocolate soufflé but served cold. What kind of «5 star– top chef» tell this to his customers assuming that they don’t know anything about food?!?
