Pat & Oscar’s has a great view of the duck pond and is a great place for kids due to the noisy atmosphere. The food, facilities, and service are mediocre at best.

Horrible disappointment! I used to love this restaurant but the food has really gone down hill. They gave me burnt breadsticks and bad service. The burnt breadsticks wouldn’t have been a big deal but I had ordered my food to go and didn’t check the quality of the food. I shouldn’t have to. When I asked the cashier how much sauce came in a side order he showed me a big container and said it would be full but when I got home the container was only half full. I would have happily paid for more if he had shown me the correct amount. I’m really disappointed that one of my favorite restaurants has gone so bad.

The food was mediocre at best. One of my kids food came out ten minutes after the rest of our food came out. I noticed other patrons complaining about food wait time. Great view of the pond, but terrible service.

My family and I went in for the first time today. Pat & Oscar’s(P&O) was a recommendation from a family member in the area so we thought we’d give it a try. We had wanted to eat at a place that was welcoming for children and this was it. The location sits on top of a small hill overlooking a small lake with ducks, turtles, etc. It had both inside and outside seating which was a plus. The restaurant was bright, clean and welcoming, but the best part was yet to come. Since there was 8 of us, we ordered a large pizza, a family salad, bread sticks and self-serve drinks. In no time at all we had our large family style salad bowl with all of the typical fixings and boy it was fresh! The bread sticks were lightly buttered and had a hint of garlic, and again they were very fresh. Just as we were finishing, our pizza arrived and I can honestly say, it was one the of better pizza’s I have tasted. 2 slices for me and I was full(since they don’t hold back on the cheese and toppings). Not bad for feeding 8 people(includes 2 toddlers) for under $ 50 bucks! At this point a nice older gentleman(not our server) approached our table and asked if we needed anything and how are meal was. We told him it was terrific and thanked him for asking. He introduced himself as «Oscar» the owner. We told him it was our first time there and we loved it. He later surprised us with a complimentary cinnamon and sugar bread sticks(similar to a churro) and coffee and boy there were amazing!!! The only recommendation I have would be to offer those same tasty bread sticks filled with custard. Yum! Overall, the atmosphere in there was family friendly, there’s TV’s to watch the game and at the same time your conversations are still somewhat intimate. This is now our new favorite place to eat in Temecula. Thank you Oscar and the entire P&O Staff for making our Saturday more enjoyable and filling. It’s great to see there are still some eating establishments that still have family values. God Bless America

I came in at Noon to order a 12 piece bread stick and 5 lemon chicken wings. 18.99 for 5 over done wings and some bread that took over 55 minutes to get to me. the dinning room was empty as was the patio and there was only two ladies ahead of me they each placed a lunch order and received their meal quickly. I also took note on 3 employees returning from their own lunch — who sends half of their staff to lunch at lunch rush? this left a total of 3 people in the kitchen, one cashier and the manager who kept walking around like he had nothing to do…

Excellent food in a great location right on the Temecula Duck Pond! «She» says that we went here several years ago — I don’t remember(memory is the 3rd thing to go and I can’t remember the first two…). But we did attend an outdoor concert in Vista a couple of months ago and our friends brought food from here that we were very impressed with. So we went a few days ago with a 1, 4&6 year olds. Will definitely go back. The way this place works is that you order your food at the counter, they give you your drink cups and a number, you pick a table, and they bring you your food. We picked a table overlooking the pond and the kids enjoyed that very much. Important hint for Unilocalers: Check in BEFORE you order. If you spend over $ 25, you will save 10% with your check-in! We ordered a family dinner consisting of a full rack of ribs, a whole broasted chicken, a medium cheese pizza, a salad, and bread sticks — $ 50 — a good deal. Lots of food with plenty of leftovers. The pizza was average, but everything else was excellent! The ribs were delicious and falling off the bone. Kids couldn’t get enough, 4-year-old had leftovers for dinner and breakfast! The caesar salad was very good and the bread sticks were great and plentiful, could have been a bit more garlicky. Their«Broasterie» chicken deserves its own paragraph. If you have never had broasted chicken and you enjoy fried chicken, you are missing out. Broasting is a process by which chicken is deep fried under pressure. There used to be a small chain in the San Fernando Valley called Amber’s which specialized in broasted chicken. It was our all time favorite. There are not too many restaurants that utilize this process, it does require special equipment, which is patented, but it makes for delicious, extremely moist deep fried chicken. If I had realized that Pat & Oscar’s served broasted chicken, I would have been frequenting it regularly, and possibly used it in a catered scenario. So this place is definitely a keeper. Especially with the fall-off-the-bone ribs and the chicken! And the great setting.

Nice kid friendly place in Temecula that gives my kids free kids meals and to top it off sits right on top of a nice duck pond with a nice view to the west, this place is easily earned my 4 stars, especially after taking my wife and four kids to the macaroni grill last night, wish I would have brought them here instead, short wait and a couple large TV screens to watch the nightly game, Pat and Oscars is worth every penny!

Amazing food at reasonable prices. I’ve eaten here often and always had a great experience with both staff and management. They also support local non-profits including schools and animal rescues so the community of Temecula should also support business’s with amazing ethical practices.

It’s been a couple years since I’ve been to Pat and Oscars and now I remember why… I ordered a panini and was just meh… nothing exciting. I was really hopping for something better given their new menu and all. Overpriced and bland. I wish they would have used a better quality turkey. If I new it was just going to be lunch meat style I would have passed. I’ll stick to Panera.

This used to be my spot back in the day but because there are so many other options in Temecula I kind of forgot about them. This may be the only Pat and Oscar’s in Riverside and San Diego county. Well anyway this location is great because it sits on top of the Temecula duck pond. As you wait in line to order your food they give you bread sticks which in my option are the best bread sticks ever. They have American food which is pretty good but my favorite is the San Diego pizza which has avocado, red onion and pesto. They also have some wine and sangria which is just alright. If you want some decent food with a great view this is definitely the place to be.

This is the home of the greatest waiter ever! Frank is a super cool dude who we always have to say hi to when we’re here! Amazingly friendly, kind, and accommodating! He’s watched our pup grow and grow and everytime he is super sweet to her and brings her water! Love this guy! Makes us always wanna come back!

I am giving 5 stars simply for service. Impeccable customer service. Our meal took a little longer then normal, which was understandable, they were very busy. However, the manager was amazing and was so apologetic. He comped our meal and gave us free dessert. It was not necessary, but so kind. The chicken hit every pregnant craving I had. Then the dessert was on point. The fresh baked cookie and ice cream. Mmmmmmm.

Not safe for food allergies!!! I would give 0 stars if I could. I went into anaphylactic shock. The manager Erin took my order. I told Erin the nature of my allergy and Erin said she would take care of it. I started feeling sick and asked Erin if there was a mistake with my order. Erin said they were busy so she didn’t tell the staff to take precautions with my food and never told them I have an allergy. Keep in mind that our party was the only party in line. I don’t care if you’re busy or if you want to pretend you’re busy – you don’t get to decide if you want me to have an allergy.

Great location next to the duck pond. Reasonable lunch specials for 6.99. Many families are seated all around me enjoying their lunch. This is my favorite place for breadsticks. Today I am having the half italian sandwhich and a Caesar salad. The salad isnt very flavorful, but the breadsticks are delicious as always. The sandwhich is fine. Fresh bread and good meats. Definitely a place to visit.

This was an okay experience. I had just came into the bathroom, and after I flushed, the toilet overflowed and got on my sandals, and feet. Gross. The food and service was great, but they need to maintain the bathroom!

Four times I’ve eaten here and the first three were okay, three stars at least. Today my wife and I came in around lunch time and the place was dead. She ordered a panini and I ordered a club with a petite caesar salad and two drinks. Gotta give props to the cashier for changing my small salad to a petite with sandwich for a much better price. After ordering we took our drinks and table number out to the patio. This is where things went downhill. After 15 minutes a server passed our table which had no food and said, «How are you enjoying your lunch?» We mentioned that we didn’t have any food yet so he took note of our number and said he’d go check on it. 5 minutes later, still no food so my wife grabs the number and goes inside to see what’s going on. She comes back and says they told her our order would be «right up!» Still we wait for a bit and then the food arrives. This is where is went downhill even more. The club I ordered comes with mayo and dressing but I said no mayo. My club had no mayo… and no dressing either. The bread was stale and dry so I went to the self service station to get a cup of dressing myself since this was rocket science for the sandwich maker. I think the ratings are low here because the management do not read the reviews and correct the problems and the employees just don’t care.

I have never been a fan of this place. Chicken wings are wet and slippery, pizza is just ok, breadsticks are good but greasy, and there’s not a huge menu selection.

I have mixed feelings for this place. For one it was freeeezing cold inside and we complained probably 3 times and they did nothing. So I was like well if I’m gonna freeze we might as well sit in the patio and enjoy the view. So the entire patio is lined up with tables and heaters. Now the problem is that only about 2 heaters worked out of 20 of them. And they barely even give out any heat. I mean you’d figure since it’s by the pond it gets cold in the evenings and they would have all there heaters up and in working order. Well no sir, they don’t! As for the food I got my usual Southwest BBQ Ranch salad and as always it was delish. A little too much BBQ sauce, but still so good. My hubby got the pasta bowl with just butter and Parmesan cheese. It was pretty good till he got to the bottom. The entire bottom part of the bowl was just melted butter and looked real ewwwy and made the pasta so soggy and horrible tasting. He was done after that. The mashed potatoes were pretty good and I’m not a bread person but the hubby loved it. I for some reason do not care for there bread. So food was semi awesome. They really do need to fix stuff that isn’t working there, I’m referring to the patio heaters… And clean the place up a bit. Tables were overly disgustingly dirty. You would think that this restaurant would be top notch for sitting atop of the pond. No wonder it was empty on a Saturday night.
