I’ve been here twice but it was about a year ago. Big clean venue with high ceilings and fire simulators. I’ve been on a clubby house night and hip hop hits night. The 2 big bars are awesome. I didn’t have to wait too long. The bathrooms are brand new and clean, no fussing with an attendant. The club is upstairs on top of the casino but the velvet rope is a little too pretentious. The only bad things are that there is no coat check. Considering it’s a ways away from parking and the resort, it’s lame. Another downfall is that the music is predominately radio hits, no matter the genre.

They should rename this place Pervert Palace. My female friends and I were hoping for a fun night of dancing, and all we got were a bunch of creepy old guys going around taking pictures of girls on the dance floor with their personal cameras, and one going up to my friend waiving $ 100 bills in front of her face asking if she would come home with him. He got a clear F-U, and he said«Ok! maybe later!» My friends complained to the staff about these individuals, but they just shrugged — BUTOH, they have no problem cracking down on you in a flat second if you try to venture onto the dance floor with your drink. bc you know, protecting people’s clothes from accidentally spilled drinks is way more important than protecting women from creepy sexual harassers. I get it. Priorities. The music was also fairly unoriginal with hip hop classics from the 90s to today. It might have been tolerable/danceable but for all the creepers and the indifferent staff. Stay away from this place if you value your self respect.

I am NEVEREVER going back to SILK! I have been to Silk about 5 – 6 times in the past and have always had a great time! The venue is spacious, music is great, and there is a huge patio for those that need a fresh air. But on October 29th I, along with my sister and her boyfriend from Ireland experienced discrimination at its finest. My friend decided to have his 30th birthday at Silk so I invited my family members to join since it was Halloween weekend. We were in line and practically of the party were already in the club when they stopped my sister’s boyfriend from Ireland because he had a PASSPORT and said that it was NOTVALIDID. WTF, are you serious? The bouncer told us that he needed at least four identification points such as such as height, weight, eye color, etc. etc. You might as well give a DNA sample! We then spoke to two other gentlemen who told us the same thing — but yet their stories were a little off. One guy told us that the casino does not accept passports as valid ID, but then another guy told us it was the state of CA. We even tried to negotiate with the staff asking if we could just go in for an hour to hang out with our friends or buy a table to boost their sales, but nothing worked. The odd part is that my cousin had her bachelorette party at Silk last March and one of the girls only had her passport because she was out of country and guess what?!? SHEGOTIN! My sister brought this up to one of the gentleman we spoke to and he threatened her by saying he would call security on her. He was definitely sweatin’ balls and knew that probably did happen. I also made it clear to them that my sister’s boyfriend traveled all the way from Ireland and we traveled all the way from Sacramento to spend time with our friends/families and lost a lot of time and money because they wouldn’t let us in. Sadly, they did not give a shit and I am now telling EVERYONE I know to NEVEREVER go to Silk! The staff is rude and heartless and I HOPE they close down again like they did last year for letting an underage person get into the club, get drunk, then drove home and took the lives of innocent people. This place should not be open for business! Please do not go to SILK in Pechanga!

A lot of San Diegans rant and rave about Silk the Club but I think it’s not as good as it used to be. This is a very large club but there are days that they don’t open up the other half of the club. Getting on the guest list is the best route to go. Saves you some money however you do need to get in line early. They offer VIP Bottle service and you can also get a table without the alcohol. We had 15 of us and were able to get a seating right in front of the main dance floor. The cost $ 200. Not bad because we were able to get in after 11pm. Unfortunately for a party bus of girls trying to get in, they were too late and the guest list was closed. Too bad… in my opinion they should’ve worked something out with the promoters standing in the front. The DJ’s are alright. I’ve heard awesome DJ’s here but the DJ that night needs to learn how to play the song just a little longer or mix it better. The beats were off and he played clips like 20 seconds then ends a good dancing song. Facilities are clean and the Go-Go Dancers are sexy. Drinks are a little pricey but what do you expect. There’s VIP tables upstairs in a more private setting where you can watch everyone in the common area. Outside on the balcony is where the smokers hang out. The nice thing about Silk is it’s located in Pechanga. You can stay at the Resort, Gamble and Dance… No drinking and driving needed.

The worse club that I have ever been to. Reason being: 1. Cock-fest 2. HORRIBLE, OUTDATED, OLD, &NON-DANCING music. Awful. I heard better music outside in the casino! 3. BAD service(From promoters, securities, bartenders, and workers) 4. More strict than Vegas. I mean, how are you going to put your standards higher than Vegas clubs when Silk is no where close.

Rising from the ashes like a ghetto bird-helicopter Phoenix, Silk is back to let all of SoCal and especially the 909 know that, «Baby, I’ve changed my ways. I swear Baby, no more runnin’ around the streets, slangin dem thangs, chasin’ dem hoodrats… I’m a changed club now. I’m true to my name Baby. I’m silky, I’m sexy, and I’m here now to do YOU right. Kna I mean girl?» /smackslipsalaLLcoolJ. Yessuh Yessuh(Pretty Ricky voice), Silk is back! Skillfully positioned in the upper tiers of the Pechanga Resort & Casino, Silk beckons the masses of the surrounding club-less wastelands of Escoghetto, Ghettomecula & Ghettoetta to its classless upper echelons. A cascade of purples, pinks, reds & blues drapes the fancy fascade of this establishment. And as you walk you through the metal detector and submit to a full body cavity inspection by some suspect security guards, you would never have guessed that this club was once a crime scene of unspeakable fashion faux pas felonies(oh and a shooting or stabbing or two). But that’s all fixed now! Right guise? /crossesfingers. So why do I like Silk? Let me count the ways. First of all it exceeded my expectations. It was my first time going to this club, and yes, I heard all of the bad press. I heard it was packed as hell, ghetto as hell, expensive as hell… simply, a hot time in HELL. But HELLO! On a Friday night, no line, no cover(get there early), quite spacious, decent crowd, and reasonably priced drinks! I called earlier that day to put myself on the guest list. Within a couple hours a representative from Silk(Samantha?) called just to confirm that I was on the list(thanks!). She answered all of my newbie questions and assured me that if I needed anything else, I could just ask for her at the club entrance. When I got to the line the security was very nice, they didn’t trip about my all black suede high tops and they gave me ample time to down my drink that I got from the bar downstairs. When I got inside I was simply in awe at the space in front of me. You could literally put a baby King Kong on the dance floor and tickle him with a slew of condor feathers and not break a thing even with a bevy of monkey arms flailing around. One large opulent bar adorns the center of this stage and a gliding staircase takes you to an even more snooty VIP area rising above the grinding masses. Peering over the railing however, the people seem to engage in an ebb & flow of body rocking(with the exception of the token gumpy white guy over there that couldn’t catch a beat if his high-waters depended on it). If you want hip hop, the DJ on this Friday night(DJCRE8?) certainly hooked you up with the club bangers. Boozer beware however, as security continually patrols the area, eager to eject any potential vomit projectors from the dance floor. They operate with a secret service like efficiency, radio-ing in target locations and diverting passed out hoe’s from the public’s attention. To the right of the main room is another space that seems to be designated as the lounge-y portion of the club. Here you might find your home girl making arrangements to have her dignity removed by some sweaty local later that night. Further past that is an open air patio, the size of which puts San Diego’s Altitude lounge to shame. Get your lung-cancer on as you breathe in smell of the good life, bathe in the warm glow of the oversized torches just over the ledges and try to sober up to avoid that third DUI. All in all, Silk was a positive experience, one that promises to be ruined by a second time around by the lying, cheatin’ ways of a bad boy club that only shines when there’s new pu$$y involved. A second date with this club thug? Yea, but I’ll regret it. Good news is the stiff drinks will give you an excuse to play off yet another chapter of your mistake-ridden life. Bottoms up! Bottoms up!

I never visited Silk back in the day, but I went in October. Its a nice, big venue. I just wish there were more patrons there but maybe fridays just ain’t poppin. Then again, it is Temecula. Security seems very tight, and there are plenty of bartenders. Music was a good mix, and they have large dance floors and seating areas. I was looking to be entertained by the gangster clientele that Silk supposedly caters to, but there were just normal folks there that night. Getting here sucks because its far from everything, but it must be nice if you are staying at Pechanga.

Entertaining, but make sure you go with a good group. It was my buddy’s bday and we got table service which was right next to the DJ stage and dance floor. It was roped off, and semi-exclusive. The waitress was pretty attentive. I was not impressed with the crowd. Odd, strange, and at times, ghetto mix of people. Im not really into theclub scene, and this is the reason. Girls walked around like they were the shit, but did not know how to dance, while a wall of dudes holding drinks watched them like vultures trying to get a peice. Luckily, I went with a fun group and was not too concerned with who else as there. Bad: Wierd/ghetto people, DJ did not play good music, wet/slippery floors. Good: Attentive service, good security, large space. I’d say go if you aint got nothing better to do.

I was back at Silk last Friday after nearly a 2 year hiatus, not mine – the club’s. First thing I notice is the beefed up security. Walking through a metal detector and emptying your pockets onto a tray remind of the airport, but not something I really want to have to go through just to get into a club. Makes you wonder why this is so? So finally after the«wanding» I walk in and notice that the place is dead! I’ve seen this place packed to the brim with 500+ in attendance. This night, maybe 100 people took part in the night’s festivities. So I meet up with some friends and make merry. Since it was dead, getting a drink was incredible easy. The music mix was great, but the crowd not so much. Mind you, the dance floor was never packed, but yet several hefty girls managed to drive their stilettos squarely onto my loafers. Um… OWWWW!!! Definitely not the best way to get someone’s attention. They all apologized profusely and tried to start a conversation, but all I could hear was my foot throbbing haha. I don’t think I’ll be coming back for a while. I’ll have to wait until I hear from someone that this place is good again. All of the tables that used to be open for regular seating have now been designated as VIP. Not so practical when there are only 3 parties in the entire club utilizing VIP service. Lame sauce. Maybe you should give people some place to sit without the VIP attachment. It just seems a bit excessive at this point. I understand that the venue is in the midst of an image/culture change, but charging $ 20 at the door – in Riverside County, are you helping or hurting yourself? Lest we forget, we are STILL in the middle of a recession! Ah c’est la vie…

GHETTO! Ok, I was recently there on a Saturday night for a bachelorette and had a good time with the girls, but otherwise, I don’t think I’d set foot in there. The club itself is pretty cool looking, but the music is terrible… they play mixes of 90s dance music, Top 40 and some wedding-type disco. The DJs don’t mix very well either. This is the only club at the resort so there aren’t a lot of choices out there. The staff was friendly. We got the bachelorette party in for free, even though a few of the bouncers were giving us a hard time at first. I liked the bartender too. She took care of us and made some really great shots. The club was really dark… when I got to the restroom, I saw why… there were an awful lot of people wearing things they really should not… definitely not a well-dressed crowd. All in all, ok to go with a group if you are hanging out in Temecula, but not much other reason to go.
