My friend and I went in for lunch. Started with an order of 2 cups of tortilla soup. The waitress who lacked personality– advised they only have bowls of the soup. I explained we would be sharing it then. She brought out a bowl with 2 spoons. No extra bowl, I figured they had a shortage of bowls. The soup had no flavor and the best part was the homemade tortilla strips. After 3 spoonfuls, I couldn’t eat anymore. My friend had 1 spoonful as that’s all she needed. We were charged over $ 11.00 for this bowl of no flavor. Over promise, under deliver. We won’t be back

Hubby had the best burrito he has ever had. The menu says chips & salsa on request, so we requested & the chips were a little stale tasting, salsa was just so so. We were charged $ 2.49. Was not pleased!

Food is great would’ve given 5 but I think the customer service can improve a bit. The Cubana Sandwich is out sight a must have.

Seriously one of, if not the best Latin Fusion restaurant I’ve ever been to. For sure the best in SLO county. I’ve dined here at least half a dozen times & I’ve alway been impressed. They have a huge & very creative menu, & I love that they serve breakfast all day. You must try it!

Wow! Lots of choices here. Our family had a burrito, hamburger, enchiladas and the fish and chips. Everything was delicious! So many choices and they were all good. The service was good and the atmosphere was nice.

I took my wife and family here for Valentine’s Day. The food is always great. Yesterday the service was extremely slow. We were sat outside and basically forgot. Had to ask for drinks had to ask for menus had to ask for food had to ask for the bill. Not once did anybody come by to refill our drinks and the vibration among the ladies that work there just seemed to be very dull and laxed. My wife even mentioned it to me later that night. Like I said the food is always great there. But for the price, which is on the high side, it just wasn’t worth it for an expensive Valentine’s Day lunch.

What a nice spot for breakfast /lunch. I rolled in at 8 the other day — when they open — and we were the first customers. Happy, cheerful and ready to serve was the mood of the morning. The breakfast menu has so many omelettes. Choosing can be difficult. In fact that was the most difficult part of the meal, and that is all in my court. The omelette was done perfectly, the home fries were done nicely, and the apple muffin was a nice change from toast. The Avocado, Bacon, cheddar was my choice, and it was oh so nice. Lots of bacon hiding in there and later that day, lunch was pushed till 3PM as I was so full. Nice place nice service nice value. Oh and last week I chose a chili verde burrito and this place has some of the nicest, big lean tender chunky chili verde in the county. Double Yum!

Plastic in my chips Burrito arrived at my table within four minutes of ordering. Cheese not melted. I didn’t ask but food seemed microwaved. Friendly people here but probably not coming back :(

An amazing find… Best Fish Tacos so far in county! Location Hidden gem in North County. You will need to get out the GPS and a good map to find this place. Remember that as you head down Posada lane… Turn left at the end of the street. Seating Comfortable seating(space between tables) for couples. Mostly smaller tables for 2 – 4 people. They will pull together tables in order to accommodate larger groups. Outdoor seating is available. Service A little short on staff but they are so passionate about their food. The owner, I think she is the owner, is out waiting on tables and making you feel comfortable. I was pleased with their service. Bathrooms Clean… clean… clean. I am so thankful for a Latin American/Mexican Food joint that has clean bathrooms. I always hate it when you find great food but the bathrooms are less than to be desired. Food HIGHLYRECOMMENDTHEFISHTACOS! If you get anything out of this review… try the fish tacos! Amazing and fresh. Grilled fish on a bed of slaw with the most amazing sauce. Kitchen I love when you can look inside a kitchen and see clean floors and smiling chefs. Location and Parking Hard to find but plenty of parking. Conclusion Don’t miss out on this gem. Come check it out. I hope they are able to stay in business.

Went here recently for lunch with my sister. Very nice atmosphere and the food was good. My only complaint was that the meat on my philly cheese steak sandwich was a bit tough(partly my fault for ordering a cheese steak sandwich at a mexican restaurant haha) but the flavor was still really good. My sister ordered a lunch combo with chile rellano and a chicken taco and she thoroughly enjoyed it. I’d like to go back and try some of their mexican food this time.

Three years later. Still consistently good. I just had a delicious order of papa a la huancaina and a huge plate of Lomo saltado last night. My tummy and heart were so happy. The other food is also awesome as ever. The torta Cubana is unique and big enough to share. The shoestring potatoes inside are a nice touch. Peruvian available on Thurs-Sun for dinner. Whatever you choose, you won’t be disappointed!

This Mexican restaurant is a nice little hidden gem in Templeton. Chulos came heavily recommended by many people who are locals to the area and it certainly lived up to all the hype. Having had eaten at many Mexican places between Paso Robles and San Luis Obispo, I have to say this is by far my favorite. The minute that we approached the door we were greated by a very friendly staff and they were quick to accommodate us with a handicap accessible table, seeing as one of the members of our party was in a wheelchair. We were sat in their beautiful patio area, so that we could enjoy the great central coast weather. It was early in the morning and I was shocked to see how big their breakfast menu was. They had everything from specialty Mexican breakfast to your normal pancakes and eggs. I went with their«sea food omelette.» Living in Reno, good sea food is harder to come across. The omelette was amazing! It was filled with large well cooked shrimp, crab, and assortment of peppers topped with cheese. Hash browns and fresh fruit also made a quest appearance. The building was well decorated and the service was unbeatable. I would recommend Chulos to anybody that is in the area or even passing through(Templeton is a really small town). I cant wait till the next time I am in the area so that I can try their dinner and lunch.

This place was sincerely disappointing with 4.5 stars I had high hopes and anxious for a Mexican breakfast. Nice atmosphere. The service was okay, a team of cute waitresses attended to us but they were tripping over themselves. Literally one check on us then 10 seconds later another did the same. It was too much. The food was BLAND; bland rice, bland beans. I hit them with salt & paper but it didn’t help. I had a breakfast burrito with veggies, the vegetables weren’t sautéed enough, they still crunched. Maybe some people like that, I probably would too if seasoned properly but everything was just bland. My girlfriend had chilaquiles, same story bland. Everything else can be mediocre if your food is great, that’s not the case here.
