I know this is mcdonalds but with me its about customer service. I walked in to order and the girl behind the counter was unprofessional to say the least. It was dinner time I happened to see they now have an all day breakfast menu.(she rolled her eyes when i pointed that out) I ordered a hash brown and a nugget meal. She states«their gonna love you» in a sarcastic tone as if i just made their job of throwing down a hash brown to be fried so difficult for them to do. Then I see what looked like a manager(christopher shea) shake his head, and when i looked at him he had a guilty expression I knew it was towards me. I was polite from beginning to end despite the way they both treated me. I wasnt asking for something that was not available. Be aware of how you present yourself when customers are around. It is your job to provide the available items on the menu when a customer orders them.

My breakfast order came out quickly, more quickly than expected. I expect orders at the counter can back up quickly, as there are only 2 registers inside. I ordered several large coffees as well as food to go — they never offered me something in which to carry the coffee. The coffee, as always, continues to be stupid hot. This McDonald’s doesn’t appear to be kept as clean. At many others, while I’ve dined, I’ve usually seen someone working to clean tables or counters or maintenance outside. I didn’t see that here, and it showed — food crumbs on the floor, coffee stains on some of the counters. A little more frequent maintenance wouldn’t hurt.

A routine McDonald’s with clean bathrooms and quick counter service.

See, here’s the thing: I don’t expect much from the golden arches. McD’s knows this and actually THRIVES from lowered expectations. You get a blah hamburger at Five Guy’s? Tragedy. You get a blah hamburger at McDonald’s? Victory. I couldn’t even get that. «Small fries. Double hamburger, no cheese.» Yes, redundant. I do it all the time because people don’t hear it otherwise. Three minutes later I am handed a cheeseburger. Ahh, of course… but I’m used to this. I hand it back. A brief conversation between the server and the kitchen in Spanish. Two minutes pass I am handed my second cheeseburger. You know, perhaps if I had ordered a hamburger from someplace that doesn’t sell them too often it wouldn’t be SO bad. But ‘billions served’ suggests they have done this a few times. The language barrier is annoying but cannot be the cause: they do this all day AND had the order translated for them. I don’t do fast food too often anymore. But, honestly, Burger King is across the street. I have not been back to that McDonald’s since and can’t see myself returning again.
