Poor service with mediocre food… My family and I sat for nearly an hour waiting to be seated while larger parties that arrived after us were seated before us. Once we were seated we had to ask for napkins, biscuits, and silverware. When the food finally arrived it was barely warm and not very good. All in all, I will never be back!

Red Lobster is a very high quality seafood establishment. First and Foremost, I was greeted with the cheddar biscuits! I had about 7 of them! Food was very scrumptious and the Tea was sweet. I was skeptical about tea, but I had faith that the tea was gonna be sweet! Only gripe is there was no bottles of ketchup. Just little cups! Other than that, it was a very good experience!

Great food and excellent service. Our waitress, Kaley B, was spot on and a pro! I saw the manager walking the floor and he was engaged in the business. I recommend this place in Texarkana over most. Great value for excellent crab claws.

The food was fair and edible, I had the lobster tacos. But My review comes because my Dad who likes to come here, orders a drink from the First bartender, who then leaves, after(first of all) talking so fast as to feel like we were being rushed. Let me just say this and end it. I think it’s a damn cheap ploy and sorry tactic to try and upsell an old man on liquor by asking if you want a certain number of ounces. How many people order that way??? When a normal person or bartender ask a customer one speaks in single or doubles when ordering a drink. And then to have a manager and bartender defend it by saying” well when we serve in these glasses it means…” Like I know how you serve? Every restaurant serves in different glasses. We only knew we got served this double when we asked for the bill and my Dad politely asked why the bill was larger than we expected.(after he has drank half, mind you and we are gonna leave.) The bartender that took care of us the rest of the way says, «well that’s our price for a double.“two ounces. Did you read that? Her exact word she used. I complained and the manager was less than helpful in the same explanation of how they serve in that glass. My Dad and I both said we will never sit at the bar again that’s for sure.

Going down doesn’t mean downtown. I hate to rate the«new» Red Lobster down, but… The shrimp lettuce wrap is sweeter than what you expect for desert. The Caesar salad was iceberg – What!!! – lettuce not Romain, and it kinda tasted like Caesar dressing, but I’m not really sure. Some of the fish and scallops on the Captain’s Platter were stuck together resulting in a gummy, raw surface in places. The waiter was not diligent about removing soiled plates. And that great manager who resulted in my prior 5-star rating was AWOL.

Nailed us straight from the door… Put us in a top dollar spot underneath the speakers… We absolutely love that… Paired us up with waiter Dexter… He was professionally stunning! Food presentation was art and tasted even better! We will be back… Thanks Red Lobster for a NAUTICAL experience!

Great fried oysters. Staff were friendly and beer was cold. I really enjoyed the lobster bake. A must have following the fried oyster appetizer

Service was pretty quick which was good since we had a long drive ahead of us. The food was delicious. Our waitress was very friendly and met our needs well. The only downside was the fact that is it located on a one way service road making navigating in and out more difficult.

Since it is Texarkana this will be fine. Clean with friendly service and the food is as good as you could expect from a chain. Actually better than I expected.

On our way home to Fort Worth from Hot Springs, we stopped in for lunch and a break from driving. We’ve eaten at this Red Lobster before but I have neglected to review it. This time was different. Visits before we’re OK, but this visit was great. We had an outstanding server Diego who took excellent care of us. Yes he was young but made some excellent menu suggestions. Even before he left he told us about some coupons that would coming out in a few days. My wife and I were having a hard time making up our mind, Diego never rushed us. I had the lunch fried catfish plate and it was very good. The cornmeal batter on the fish was light and the fish was cooked perfectly. The highlight of our meal was the«Wood Fired Hamburger.» My wife was very reluctant to order a burger in a fish restaurant but she said it was one of the best burgers she had ever had. It was cooked on their wood-fired grill and had an intense smokey flavor. It was also«dressed out» perfectly like a classic burger should be. I took a bite and was jealous that I had never produced a burger like that on our backyard grill. The meat was incredible. The manager of the restaurant came by and visited with us for a while and wanted to know what we thought art the new lunch menu. We told her the burger is a solid home run. She did mention since it’s been put on the menu it’s been a great seller. Customers are amazed after they’ve tried it. We loved the new layout of the restaurant with the«open» kitchen area. This Red Lobster has a really me updated look and décor. Anytime we’re heading down Interstate 30 coming through Texarkana, if it’s time to eat or take a break from driving, we’ll be stopping at Red Lobster. Yum!

It started bad: a group of about 7 busboys in various levels of disrobing were crowded around the front door laughing and carrying on. We were able to get seated in a nice private nook and immediately able to place our order for drinks and appetizers. The atmosphere was very nice and the orders came out quickly. Our server did a marvelous job explaining the specials and entrees. After ordering our entrees, it did take a rather long time to get our food. But we didn’t care. My wife and I caught up on the days events and hey, we didn’t come for fast food here! Our server kept the drinks topped off and was very friendly! Finally, the food came out. The seafood was impeccable. My sirloin steak was finished perfect. We weren’t rushed at all and my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Afterward, the manager took the time to come over and ensure we had wonderful meals and wish us a Merry Christmas. I would definitely eat here again!

A family of 6 walked out with any kind of service or attention. The hostess tried to ignore us when asked why we they hadn’t come to at least take our drink order. She could have cared less. Wish I knew her name, her name tag was tucked inside her pocket. When I got up and said this service is unacceptable, she then tried to make it better. Hope she got fired! Doubt it!!! We will never be back. We then came across the road to Outback. Many more people there and I see why. I will say the manager tried to make it better but the damage had already been done. My mother will let her friends know what horrible service she experienced. The restaurant lost a $ 250 bill tonight. I had to give it one star to leave my review but it is a BIGFATZEROSTAR rating!!!

The last flight out of Texarkana leaves at 5:05 pm, I kid you not, and I missed it and was stuck in Texarkana for another night without a car. The only eatery within walking distance of the Marriott Courtyard was this Red Lobster. The food was rubbery, bland, and just plain not good. But it was an experience. Our waitress, who cannot pronounce«salmon»(a bad sign at a seafood restaurant, I think — she calls it SAL-man), tells us this is a dry county. Right behind her is a full bar — I am confused. Doesn’t «dry» mean no liquor? No, she says, here a dry county means you need a drinking card, then you can go at it. She gives us a form to fill out, takes it back, does not check ID, then delivers a big margarita. Apparently as long as you are still sober enough to make up a fake name, you get to drink in this«dry» county. I am staying away from the SALman, and I think, all other fish she cannot pronounce. I am wondering if the lobster is safe, it is the place’s name, after all. I land on some crab plate, which is subpar. I think this, my first Red Lobster experience, is likely to be my last. That is, unless I miss that flight again.
