Pete’s used to be a fantastic diner. The last few times I have gone I sat outside on their cute patio and I experienced slow rude service, and was served cold, overcooked food. Very disappointed in the decline in quality.

I really enjoy eating breakfast at Pete’s. All I can say is thank you to the staff who made me and my family feel like guests and not customers. Very polite and friendly. I have to give a shout out to the cooks… DELICIOUS! Thank you.

First time visiting– great café, had the Greek skillet & was delicious. Prices are great & staff are very warm & welcoming. You can tell the staff have a habit of making good rapport with customers, every customer in there was happy. Generous portions come hungry!

Sausage Breakfast Burritos with the green chili is really good. Family owned, friendly, and fast service!

Small mom & pop type diner. The only negative is seating, they can’t seat a group of five… They only have booths for two-four people and a few counter seats. Other than that the food was good and portions were just right.

Was hoping for better. Asked for sausage gravy and biscuits. I did not that or see or taste sausage. After we were done eating the waitress came and asked how it was. She argued with me that there was sausage in it.

I highly recommend this place. Everyone is friendly, great service and spectacular food. The green chili is delicious. The portions are smaller but very filling. If your ever in the area this is definitely a good place to stop and have a bite.

I was looking for a good breakfast, I found better. Wanted local, got it with Greek charm. Sausage and eggs were done to order, the home fries on the side weren’t the side the bettered the meal. Drive past the ihops and the waffle houses to something better.

Lived in the area for years. First time I’ve tried it. Took my daughter while the wife slept in. It was pretty good. Good biscuits and gravy(it’s amazing how many places can mess up biscuits and gravy), really like the potatoes — fresh cooked, not frozen or all uniformly diced. Got my wife take out. Gyro omelet. It was very tasty. Friendly people. Nice, small café local feel. I’d go back.

Good old fashioned sit down café where if you go a few times you see the same people. Good food, home like atmosphere.

Food was just OK, except the hashbrowns which were really mushy and particularly bad. I had the juevos rancheros along with a pancake which were both good. I would give Petes 3 stars, but the service was lousy. Our server messed up the order twice, and was difficult to find throughout the meal. We didn’t get drink refills and had to wait quite a bit for our check.

Nice little café. Keep in mind it is little. Food was good my wife says her biscuits and gravy were awesome. I had the chicken fried steak skillet. Nice proportion. Friendly staff for the most part. We did have to sit at the counter because there was no seating available but it was keep that in mind, probably seats 30 people. Give or take. Recommend this if your not in a hurry but the delivery of our meals was efficient.

I’m sure there is something I can say negatively about this place. But after my first visit there was not one bad thing to say. Found via Unilocal in an area I am not familiar with. 4 stars and 1 dollar sign, may as well try. Breakfast burrito was great. Green chile was very good. We sat at the bar and watched ate after plate come out and everything looked great. If you are ever in the area and need breakfast or lunch, I’d highly recommend it. Pete talked to us at the bar like we’d been in a hundred times. Gotta love that!

This place use to be really good a long time ago. Tried it again after many years and was very disappointed. Over cooked eggs and flavorless food even the toast was bad. :(

The thorton area has an incredible amount of residents whom live within its city boundaries and by far not enough resturants to keep up with all the residents. However their are a few standouts that are great. Petes is a great Greek family owned resturant that can be found also at several locations on Colfax in denver. This location like the ones on Colfax is small and intimate. The location is on Washington Street at the bottom of a valley. It has very few parking spaces. I had to sit and wait for one to come avail when I arrived at 9 am on a Wednesday morning. So arrive earlier to avoid this. I ordered a biscuits and gravy with home fries. The biscuits were cooked to perfextion, soft and butterly. The gravy had a nice flavor to it. Added a liitle extra salt and pepper and it was good. They did not get five stats because their heaping portion of home fries were under cooked. Barley any brown at all on them. But it was probably because they were busy. I will be back.

It’s a small family-owned Greek-style breakfast and lunch diner. The food is great, my favorite by far is the BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger with a little extra sauce and a small Greek salad instead of the potatoes. Best part? Pete makes the Greek dressing himself! The staff remember the regulars and are always really friendly. Pete often comes out from the kitchen to talk to the patrons, which I personally like when the owner takes the time to know his/her people. Despite coming out of the kitchen, the food comes fast and made properly(I’ve never had a cold plate that was meant to be hot, nor a hot plate for something cold). Overall I’d say this is a great little place for fast and tasty food. And if you have the BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger, you may want to ask for a couple extra napkins.
