I was pleasantly surprised by the food! The breakfast was fresh and served eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage, oatmeal and more. The staff was friendly. It was a great family place with children and many vacationing individuals. Sunshine was one of the super nice workers. Food good. clean place. Price right.

Disclaimer: the breakfast was complimentary for Shilo resident. It was the highlight of the stay. Much better than our expectation for any complementary breakfast. Sunshine and Josh were helpful and hospitable.

We had a difficult time finding a good restaurant to eat at while in Tillamook. The two restaurants that were rated decent on Unilocal were both closed. The service here was good, but the food was very poor.

This was by far the worst restaurant experience of my life. Our group of 8 decided to sit down in the bar so we could watch game 3 of the NBA Finals; plenty of room in the bar with less than a quarter of tables filled. I’ll try to spare you most of the pain we endured… We sat down at 5:30pm. At 6:20pm we were still waiting for drinks to be delivered and our food orders hadn’t been taken. At around 8:00pm we started asking for our checks and it wasn’t until 9:08pm when the manager finally intervened and comped the last ticket that we were finally able to leave. Worst. Service. Ever. …also, skip the ribs.

The food wasn’t anything spectacular, but the waiter Anthony was very helpful and cheerful. He made the experience better. We liked the free drink coupon we received from staying at the hotel. That was nice.

Stopped in for a bite between meetings and the waiter, Anthony, greeted us right away, seated us and explained the menu’s available between 4 and 5. Good food, good service and worth the time. Will come back. Thank you Anthony Isaacson for great service we appreciated your attentiveness.

This place was freezing cold and when asked to turn heat up a tad I got the strangest look. waiter seemed very inexperienced and unfriendly. The spaghetti and meatballs were surprisingly good but the ceasar dressing was ridiculously fishy(real ceasar dressing has anchovies in it). was overprised for the experience. wouldn’t come back.

Great service and great food at a bargain price. Shae took care of us with attentive service. The salads were fresh and our entrees were served hot with great flavor. I really appreciated that Shae checked on us several times throughout our dinner and made sure that we had plenty to drink.

The ribs were dank! Half a serving is definitely enough for one person. Just don’t get the mashed potatoes, not impressive. Josh was legit, very gangster and friendly.

I have to say that I was not expecting too much at all when visiting here. The only hotel left with availability, the restaurant is just next door so we decided to give it a try. Not only was the service(Kayla in the lounge) pleasant but the food was good. Not a place that I would normally go out of my way for but I would definitely return.

I’ve been able to experience service and food from around the globe. It’s rare that I’m as surprised as I was by the service and food at this hidden gem. I know… it’s Shilo. I expected Denny’s. The food and the customers are given an attentive eye. The young man in the kitchen stopped to ask how the food was, the young man hosting went out of his way to say hi the second time he saw me, Maralee at the front door was as sweet as could be, and Kayla at the bar is quite the bartender. The service is reason enough to come back, the food makes it quite the unexpected experience.

Fantastic staff. Kayla is a great Bartender. We had a large family gathering and Kayla was very attentive. Kathy is the Hotel Manager and she made sure everything was perfect. Kathy went out of her way to make our large family gathering a huge success.

Food is decent and prices are good. If you’re looking for a family meal without breaking the bank, it’s a good place to go and find something to please everyone. The mac and cheese is delicious, filling, made with local Tillamook cheese, and only $ 8!

Had the pork baby back ribs and boy were they good! Heard they are cooked for like 12 hours and then they used a dry rub smothered in bbq sauce. Only $ 12 for a half rack too! To top it off the hotel gave us two free beer tickets. Good place for families(we have 4 little ones). Good service too.
