Popeyes Chicken and Biscuits

I’m a regular here and I still like the food, but the service is very spotty. Sometimes fine, sometimes abysmal. Tonight they got my order of 3 dinners so wrong, it was ridiculous.
They completely left out one of the dinners, so I had to go back. Waited about 10 minutes while the person in front of me hemmed and hawed with the cashier about her order, then voided her order so she could re-​order. All while the rest of the staff stood around. I finally got my dinner, but no apology or anything like one. Still, when all was and done they left out the dipping sauces for the tenders, shorted me one order of fries and stuck in an un-​ordered beans and rice.

I have visited this location and the food is always given cold. The drive-​thru staff is very rude and impatient. They do not provide condiments even when you request them.

Hubby had a taste for fried chicken and to avoid a mess of frying it at home, we ventured to this store in Tinley. Okay, what can I say, as we entered the store, the tile floor was broken down to the sub flooring, time to get fixed before someone hurts themselves. The dining area itself was clean and the tables all set with the necessary items and looked very nice. The staff was very helpful with taking our order. I had the shrimp dinner, micro mini shrimp and mostly fries in the basket, made it look like there were a lot of shrimp but even my hubby said, where are the shrimp? no deal here, disappointing. Hubby had the fried chicken, they had a special on the dark meat so he ordered that. It seemed okay as he finished most of it along with some of my fries. They do a lot of drive thru as we could see the cars lining up and waiting for their orders. As for the staffing, they got their orders out, the place was neat and clean. They all seemed to be in a good frame of mind as you could hear them talking and laughing when the store was not busy. As for the taste of their chicken, it is a good choice when you do not want to make your own. The drive thru… when will people understand that this is fast food, not ultra fast food. It takes time to get orders together so be patient when driving thru. If you are in that much of a hurry, use your smart phone to call in the order and it will be waiting for you when you arrive to pick up the order.

I went here to get some Cajun spicy chicken.
I am not really sure if this was chicken or a Cornish game hen.
The breast was very small.
I like my breasts to be much bigger than this.
The girl at the window seemed annoyed because she had to lean out the window to hand me my meal.
My car is right hand drive so I had to lean over also.
That may have been the reason the girl on the speaker could not hear me so well.
If they took reservations, this may have been avoided.

This place doesn’t even deserve one star. Sat in the drive thru for 5 minutes to get my order taken and nobody even took my order or said they would be with me! And there was employees obviously in the building. Going to a different Popeyes nearby.
