Focaccia’s Delicatessen

Here it is it gets no better than this! The top sandwich eatery in Toledo area. Phenomenal classy service. Everything is top notch fresh and made fresh no exceptions, these guys are on it! The sizes of these sandwiches are huge. The meats melt in your mouth with an array of some of the finest Wisconsin cheese. The first time I had the Reuben Sandwich I was amazed by the beautiful color of the freshly made in house breads. The freshness of the vegetables the corned beef had such a sweet brilliant taste like the big apple deli these two arguably are the best Reubens in the state of Ohio. Excellent service fresh coke products. Home made potato chips with flavorings such an amazing taste these chips bring with that classic New England taste the atmosphere is an extremely classy business like setting. Only thing that pisses me off about this place is the hours of operation which is usually right around the lunch hour they aren’t opened for breakfast or dinner it’s understandable but I have the krave for one of their delicious sandwiches and they are closed by the time I get off work. Working downtown last week, a friend and I decided to give Focaccia’s Deli a try. We arrived toward the end of the lunch rush, and even though the restaurant was very busy, we were seated at a table quite quickly. Shortly afterward, our waitress introduced herself, asked if we had any questions about the menu, and took our drink orders. Being our first time there, we had a few questions about various menu items, but our waitress patiently answered all of them. I ended up selecting the Busia’s Blue Plate, which with my soda, came to $ 10.58 before tax, which felt pretty reasonable for lunch downtown. While waiting on our orders, we took in the ambiance of the restaurant, which gave that cheerfully inoffensive ‘hotel lobby’ vibe.
For as busy as the restaurant was, we were surprised at how quickly our food arrived. Busia’s Blue Plate was made up of a very large and tasty stuffed cabbage role, an excellent potato latke, and two very good pierogis. I was very happy with both the portion size and especially with the great flavours! Additionally we were very pleased that our waitress brought us several drink refills. Overall I rate Focaccia’s Deli as being Very Good, and will definitely come back again!

Family owned, homemade food that hits the spot. Service is not that of a $$$ restaurant but don’t expect it and you’ll be pleased. The food does the job. And if you’re feeling a bit of a sweet tooth, treat yourself to a homemade slice of pie by the owner. #win

I love this place. They have the best chicken salad and high quality ingredients. I think it’s a better bang for your buck than most downtown lunch spots, and the order online option allows you to breeze through and pick up your food when time is limited. The staff is friendly, too! I haven’t eaten in but as far as my carryout experiences go, five stars.

I stick to the Holy Toledo sandwich. Very tasty turkey sandwich on amazing bread. Might be ciabbata or something… its SOOOO good.

I was in the area for a meeting and I needed a quick bite to eat. I got the liver sandwich. A lot of sandwich places call themselves Delis, but almost never carry liver. Well, this place does!
I was a bit disappointed that the liver was a bit too watery, but it was tasty. Throw in some of home made chips and it was a good meal. Too bad I had to eat everything in under five minutes. I barely had time to enjoy the taste before I had to wash it down with some water and chew on some gum before the meeting. Liver breath does not help you make good first impressions.
