This is for sure one of my favorite places in Toledo! Drinks made by the awesome bartenders and sushi made by the chef are always on point! Very reasonable prices and clean and chill environment!

Where to start. Went on a Fridaynight about 7:00. Took 10 minutes for the bartender /waitress to come to the table. There were 6 – 7 people at the bar and another table. I ordered an IPA and it was flat. My second beer was supposed to be a double IPA that tasted like caramel, not hops. I can only assume the keg hasn’t been changed in a month or so and I’m hoping I don’t get sick from it. We ordered food(a 12″ pizza and a pizza panini) that took an hour to get to the table. While we waited a few people at the end of the bar started singing which would have been fine if it was karaōke night. They kept going and weren’t very good. There was a guy at the bar who apparently worked there. He was a bit of a tool. He and one of the patrons were going to take their shirts off. Later it turned out he worked there. After an hour we finally got our food and it was was probably only edible because we were so hungry. I couldn’t wait to pay the bill, get out, and get home to have a beer from my fridge to wash down whatever it was I ate and drank there. This is the very first review I’ve written and I only signed up for a Unilocal account t to write this one. There are a lot of places to eat within 2 miles of here and I would suggest most of them before I would recommend this one.

I feel like I’ve been here enough times now to give a rating! I’m a fan! Yay!(according to Unilocal!). I like to frequent this place on Friday nights for the half off sushi, I will say the first time I came for it I was truly surprised by the quality! The sushi is actually very good. My husband, who doesn’t eat delicious sushi, really enjoys the fried pickles and the pizza panini. Of the many times I have been there I sat at the bar and service was never an issue. Today I actually sat in a booth which made me a tad nervous based on previous reviews, but the service was still good! I will say it wasn’t super busy, but I think this place is quality! Again, the sushi is a great deal! Definitely worth a try!

Well I hate leaving negative reviews but feel like I’m doing a disservice if I don’t review this place. I know people work hard for their money so here it goes: Pros– semi-good martini/cocktail list Reasonable prices Cons– horrible, generic sushi(unfortunately had better at grocery stores) Attempt to put a spin on some of the rolls with different ingredients fails Gnats were flying around bararea Menu is «fusion» however comes across as a hodge podge of mediocre food Would like to recommend that if you are going to succeed & draw more business to pick a cuisine & do it well. The fusion concept is not working, especially when there are other sushi restaurants close by that serve much better food.

Food was good but this place was dead at 7 in a Saturday. I couldnt even enjoy the place because the fruit flies were all around my drink and food. The bartender/waitress acted as of we were inconveniencing her night. She didn’t smile one bit.

Service was good but initially we were the only ones there. They have a great selection of martinis for happy hour and I enjoyed the chocolate one. The fusion salad, with craisins, walnuts and feta cheese, was delicious. We enjoyed a California Roll and Shrimp Tempura Roll. The Ham and Cheese panini was good. They alsp have several wraps to choose from.

Being in Toledo with friends from college, my friend Dan L. suggested Fusion for dinner. Actually he said, «There’s a pizza place or a sushi place close by.» And then he went on to say that, «The sushi place actually has pizza too – it’s fusion.» I think he meant more like, «It’s Fusion,» meaning the name of the restaurant. Having nothing to lose, we all reconvened at Fusion which was actually pretty dead for a Saturday at dinner time. Fusion is basically covered in stainless steel, beer swag, and some flat screens with the current game on. We were pleased to have $ 2.00 mugs of Yuengling as we perused the menu. Indeed there were standard bar fare appetizers(think wings and cheese sticks), as well as pizza, a sushi menu(including a fried chicken roll and a Sarah Palin roll), and then a full list of paninis. I ended up ordering a grilled cheese panini and a bowl of tomato bisque which was actually quite good and reasonably priced. The panini was not on bread but more so like a pizza crust. I requested a pickle and the waitress brought us a small ramekin of Tony Packo’s spicy pickles which were totally awesome. My friend Andy C. ordered fried green beans for the table which were pretty damn awesome and served with a spicy ranch – most surprising is that they seemed fresh and not frozen from Gordon’s or Sam’s or Cost Co. I could be wrong, but either way they were pleasantly delicious. My friends who ordered the sushi enjoyed their rolls. No one had Sarah Palin, but my friend Kathleen O. did order the fried chicken roll which she was perfectly satisfied with though she also did order a side of bleu cheese dressing to dip the roll in which was not really anything spectacular. I think Fusion was actually a decent choice for pleasing a wide variety of appetites, and what’s not to love about a $ 2.00 beer? I would definitely return if in the area and faced with a dinner dilemma but I might not make a special trip just to dine. My favorite part of the meal was when my friend Michelle M. said, «Is that a panini press watermark?» And it was. It really was.

I have found this places very disappointing. I have been in half a dozen times, trying again and again to give this place another chance and shouldn’t have bothered. The first time I went to Fusian was a couple years ago and I went with some people who were friends with the bar tender and just got drinks. It was fine then, nothing to write home about. Since then, it has been down hill. The second time I went in was for half price sushi and a drink. The service was very slow, but they were busy. I asked for my check, 20 minutes later it came. I was sitting at the bar, so the register to print the check was about 3 feet away. I put down money, requiring change so I could leave a tip, but after about another 20 minutes and many attempted requests for change and being ignored by all 3 people working, I was fed up. I was trying to cash out for 40 minutes, and I had enough for the bill and a pathetic tip, so that is what I had to leave. The next time I went in, the bartender was different, and she was great. She was friendly, and gave good service, but the sushi took and hour and a half. We had 3 rolls between two of us, and there were only two more couples in the bar. The sushi taking so long was not her fault, but it was discouraging. I did go in again a few weeks later and had the same great bartender, and the sushi did not take nearly as long. Over all, the sushi is mediocre, and inconsistent. I would much prefer to make it myself, it tastes better when I do, but for half price it is acceptable, and it is usually not busy so a good place to go for a bite with a friend. The drinks are overrated, but about average on price. They always have a special of some sort going on.

The sushi is better than going to the grocery store, when you are getting half-off sushi specials. The bar was experiencing a call-off, which was fine, but the first of many faults to come. They failed to mention this when we walked in we found out after being here for 20 minutes. Ohh by the way only the first two rolls are half-off. The man behind the curtain, which I assumed to be the owner did not show his face at the bar, but instead decided to let the clearly underaged ice cream girl serve us drinks, is that legal to have a sophmore inhigh school open my bottle and serve it to me, or have her make my martini, whcich we didn’t order. Overall the food was lackluster and my sushi plates piled in front of me as the bartender was training a new bartender, clearly forgetting to tell her to clear empty dishes from in front of patrons at the bar. I could go on but I think thee clear lack of dedication to service, as you can read.

Terrible Service: Waited over ½ hour for orders to be taken. Waitresses(2) are also the bartender. Everything was slow. Our«waitress» remembered to take our drink orders 15 minutes after she put in our dinner orders. Both girls were unfriendly. Terrible atmosphere: So cold inside my gal pals had to huddle together for warmth and sit on their hands. 50º max. I wish I was exaggerating. Terrible variety: Only items on the menu are alcohol, edamame, seaweed salad, salmon, tuna and eel nigiri, and boring maki rolls. ALL of which contain avocado(okay the philly has no avo; it has cream cheese instead). Terrible sushi: Paper thin slices of fish on nigiri; paltry portions of both fish and rice in maki rolls. The only thing that comes in generous amounts is the fake crab. If there was an option, I would be obligated as an honest woman to give zero stars
