Marco’s Pizza

I LOVE this location ! They always get my order correct, no matter how complicated and never forget any sauces on the side. Last night I went to pickup an order and was carrying my son and without asking they insisted on helping me to the car with my pizza. They are very friendly here and great pizza and cheezybread!

The day after Thanksgiving my hubby and I were going to my friend’s house to catch up before returning home for the holidays back to Virginia. We decided to do lunch and we would bring pizza. My friend ordered from this Marco’s pizza and we picked it up. Upon entering we were a little early so we had to wait a few minutes. No big deal. Then we took the piping hot order to my car and drove a few miles to her house. Wow, my car smelled amazing and I was ready to eat!
We had two large pizzas and of course cheesy bread. One pizza was pepperoni and mushrooms. The other pizza was the deluxe uno: Cheese, Classic pepperoni, Italian sausage mushrooms, green peppers, onions & sprinkling of extra cheese. The pizza was nice and greasy. I mean what a way to seal in more calories from the day before. I would recommend to the calorie conscious to blot the greasy up but if you want to say screw it dive right in for a delicious treat. The cheesy bread was right up my alley. I would have liked it cut more uniform but whatever it was still yummy.
I would like to note from being a former Ohioian I grew up on Marco’s pizza. It was somewhat nostalgia and maybe I am bias in my review. I honestly liked this pizza better than most pizza I have encountered in Northern Virginia minus Mellow Mushroom. That pizza is in its own category. haha

Decent delivery pizza at a fair price. If you want specialty pizzas, try Vitos, but for a simple pie, Marcos is fine.

This place is way better than Little Caesars… sure it’s not a boutique pizza joint. but it does rate good… I guess the pie can vary according to who’s working that day.

Pizza is nothing special. It tastes like every other bad pizza place in the world. People tend to get it because it is convenient but not because of taste. I would never go back again. Little Caesar’s is way better (but that is not saying to much).
