Came here around 5:30 p.m. on a Thursday and there was no one in the place. Service was great and the food was amazing. I had the buffalo chicken sandwich with fries,(both were amazing), and my friend had a Tuna burger and fries which she really enjoyed. Would come back!

Good food but awful service. I’d give the food four or five stars and the service 1 ½. I love their turkey sandwich and the meatball sub and it’s great having potato salad available as a side. Portions are very generous. Service is awful. I stopped going there if it’s a game night or if it’s busy because the service is so bad. Even sitting at the bar you have to flag a bartender or server down to take your order and the wait time for food is a lot longer than other places downtown.

Our server was great but the food was not. My wife had the Betty salad and the spinach was overdressed and wilted. For around $ 11 she got a bowl of spinach and bamboo shoots. There was no cheese or any kind of creativity in there. I had the grilled chicken sandwich and it lacked any kind of flavor. The chicken was soggy and had no seasoning on it. I would only recommend this place for drinks, not the food.

nice atmosphere. was my first trip to table forty4. went before a walleye game since we were able to grab seats at the bar and avoid the 45 minute wait for a table. 2 hours before game time and bar staff was completely overwhelmed. took a very long time just for a bartender to ask us what we would like to drink. several orders that were placed after our food order was taken had come out before ours. food was good. probably a whole different experience to visit this place not on a game day. considering they are within walking distance to both of the stadiums i would have thought that they would have been more properly equipped to handle the crowds. would definitely try again, just for a drink before a game.

I have pros and cons about this place, and the cons are mainly about the time of day that I went. Pros: Great food selection and the fries are AMAZING. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They do delivery for the Black Cloister Brewery across the street and it’s extremely efficient. Lots of seating and a nice outdoor area for seating as well. Cons: Loud. Always loud. It’s a restaurant with a big bar area and a stage. Great atmosphere but can be a bit much. One night I went there with my boyfriend and there was a large birthday party reservation going on in the outdoor area, but everyone was crowded around the bar getting drinks and bumping into our table while we were eating so it was rather annoying. Even the waitress couldn’t get to us at times because they were clustered around our section. So maybe the layout is a bit rough at times and maybe people are jerks, but that dampened our experience there a bit.

We hadn’t been here in quite a while. On a Friday night at 630, the place was dead. Our top shelf grey goose cocktails were lame. Dinner came out in stages, very disappointing that it was at least five minutes between when the first dish came out and the seventh one. The three stars are for the attentiveness of the waitress, although sadly enough I don’t know her name.

In the years this restaurant has been open, they’ve had their ups and downs. I work downtown, so my co-workers and I come here for lunch on occasion. My most recent visit was very positive: good food(as always), attentive service, and the kitchen was punctual. The prices have fluctuated over time, as has the menu itself, but it seems to have stabilized with a tasty and relatively eclectic menu with prices that are pretty standard for a sit-down restaurant lunch downtown(about $ 12 after tip). Table Forty 4 is in my rotation for weekday lunches downtown… although I’m disappointed that the mashed potatoes side dish is only available for dinner now.

There are a few different aspects to this review: 1 — The food is good. 2 — Tiffany our waitress was fantastic. 3 — The kitchen was so upside down our to go order(15 min wait time) came prior to the food we had ordered(45 min wait time). This is the reason for the poor review.

We just came for drinks, and it was VERY quiet when we were here, so I know this review isn’t going to do any justice. BUT, I would come back! The menu looked good and the place is pretty neat! I would like to come back the next time we’re in town!

We would rate the food a solid 3 for bar food. The waitress was probably a 3.5. But the timeliness of the kitchen was a huge disappointment. It took more than 45 minutes to get our orders. And when we got the check, we had been overcharged for our beers. Probably won’t be back.

Recently a group of three friends and I decided to go to Table Forty 4 for lunch. For a downtown restaurant at noon on a Thursday, the restaurant was surprisingly empty, with only a couple of tables occupied. We were quickly shown to a table, and greeted by our hipster waiter some minutes later. It took our party of four several minutes to make up our minds on what to order, and we all really appreciated our server’s excellent knowledge of the menu. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich with a side of coleslaw and an iced tea to drink, which made my total bill $ 12.30. While waiting for our drinks to arrive, we took in the urban chic ambiance of the restaurant, as well as the massive number of televisions, which seemed to hang from every conceivable wall. Our drinks arrived a few minutes later, which is where our Table Forty 4 experience started going downhill. Our waiter delivered the diet to the person who ordered regular, and regular to the one who ordered diet. Luckily the two cola drinkers were not afraid of each other’s cooties and just swapped drinks, as our server was nowhere to be found. When I tasted my iced tea, it had that funky, «I came out of a tea pitcher that has not been washed in several days» taste. I would have asked for a replacement, but it took so long for our waiter to come back again, that I just ended up drinking it anyway, and hoping for the best! After what felt like a long time –especially for a nearly empty restaurant– our server brought out first our food, and then drink refills(this time getting the colas correct, and my iced tea tasted less funky). While we all remarked surprise at the small sizes of the portions, everyone in our party agreed that the food tasted very good. For me, the pulled pork sandwich had a great flavour, and the coleslaw was excellent. Even though I really liked the restaurant’s cool atmosphere and good food, the sketchy and inconsistent wait service, questionable beverages, and small portion sizes for the price left me feeling ambivalent about Table Forty 4. As such I rate the restaurant as being OK, and might or might not come back.

Overall decent. I had the Cuban which was decent, but not close to great Cuban sandwiches I have had elsewhere. Wife had a salad and was disappointed to discover the turkey in the salad was covered in a horseradish sauce which was not disclosed on the menu. In my opinion anything with a strong flavor should be disclosed so those disinterested can opt out. Service was decent, although they weren’t busy when we visited. The fresh cut fries were nice, having to request an additional small cup of ketchup wasn’t. Food prices were okay and drink prices were on the high side, which can generally be expected of a downtown establishment.

We had a group of 22 with reservations made three months in advance. They were completely unprepared. People waited entirely way too long for dinner. My meat loaf was dry and lacked flavor. I ordered a side salad but it never arrived. It appered that everything was done cheaply. My co-workers complained about over cooked burgers and flavorless fish. The two star rating is for the drinks. I won’t be back.

Better than average. The service was excellent. We were here with a large group and just ordered apps and drinks. Everything was very good. Extensive martini menu(I’m not usually a martini person, but what the hell) and a friendly atmosphere. I enjoyed this place a lot.

We came here for dinner just before the Brit Floyd Concert at The Huntington Center. We tried the Blarney Irish Pub but they were PACKED with no room. Anyway, we were greeted promptly and took seats at the bar. We liked the ambiance and friendliness of the employees. Our server Bob did a great job. Was not too busy at first, but by the time we left they got hit with about 60 – 80 more people. My wife had the Peanut Butter Burger and I had a BBQ Burger. They were very good, and we loved the fresh cut french fires because they were really… Fresh Cut. The pickles that came with our burger was real good and you could tell it was of high quality. We noticed either management or an owner helping staff out when things got busy. The Blueberry Beer was delish. Sorry but we cannot remember its name but it was on tap. A good stop before a concert! Especially when that darn Blarney is full and Pizza Papalis is too rich for ya. Oh, and if your a Floyd Fan and you have not seen Brit Floyd yet… What is your problem? They are awesome. They’ll be back next March. Seen them last 3 years… in March. TableForty4 is Cool!

Greeting as we entered was horrid, service extremely slow, and food less than impressive. First and last review with 1 meal comp’d and $ 130 bill!

The back room can be rented out for large parties. The food is pretty basic, but I’d recommend the burgers. The draft list is decent too.

Have been here many times before concerts and the food is always good. Unfortunately the service has gone down hill. Our recent server, nick, was one of the worse we’ve had anywhere. When we got there they only had two tables sat. We watched our drinks sit on the bar waiting for the server to bring them over while he stood there and ate. We had to flag him down every time we needed something. Then he’d leave the table with one persons order and not ask if anyone else needed something. Food took forever, but it was busy by the time we ordered, so that’s understandable. Nick didn’t realize that we didn’t get all of the food we ordered. He went to check on it and never came back to tell us what was going on with it. They had to recook it. Of course tip was included because we had a party of 8. We spoke with the manager who took $ 20 off the bill. When nick came back with the adjusted check he told us not to come back. We will be taking his suggestion.

We were looking for a spot to check out downtown Toledo and fell upon this place, having read about the good food. We sat at the bar on a Saturday at around 2. The parking was free at the meters outside. The place was pretty empty. I got a stout that had a honey and berry flavor, forgot the name, but it was super strong. I got the Baja sandwich which was more of a burger due to the bun, it was soooo good with the slice of pineapple on it. I got a side salad but also the fries came out with the burger/sandwich which we also ate. They were warm and seasoned well. My fiancé got the meatloaf which he couldn’t stop talking about. His side of potato salad was delicious as well. This bar has the best food I have had in quite awhile. I definitely recommend this spot. By the way the bartender was very nice, gave great suggestions for food and drinks and was very friendly.

This bar has 2 separate review pages on Unilocal.Probably because of their lower rating on this page so I’ll sum up my previous review. They have a nice interior and décor but this is NOT fine dining. The food is mediocre and the service is terrible. Not a recommended place to eat before or after a game.
