Best slice of pie anywhere in Topeka. Haven’t tried their food yet but get any pie & you can finally die satisfied.

I am the first one to try out a local joint & I was excited to read the reviews on this place, the pancakes are fabulous! but… the hash browns, while perfectly cooked crispy, tastes like old oil, and our omlette came with melted American cheese. Also, no cinnamon rolls on Mondays:( A good local experience overall.

I have been here several times and it’s always been great. It does get super busy at lunch time so get there before 11:30 if you want a table. The service is usually very good but has been slow at times. Food is always top notch though and the pies are awesome. Seems that lately their available pie selection hasn’t been as good though… maybe we’re just getting there on the wrong day?

Best egg casserole, homemade biscuit(light and fluffy) and cinnamon roll I have eaten. The biscuit and gravy was to die for. Great service!

This is the go to place for breakfast in Topeka. The biscuits and gravy are the best I have ever had! Make sure to save room for pie because it is fantastic.

I went in again for a meeting. We had to wait and wait again. Why do they continually ignore some of their guests? I always get ignored and that day all three of us were ignored. One of the ladies with me had to shout out to get their attention. Refills? Ha! Good luck. I was in a rush to get out the door at the conclusion of our meeting and had to stand forever at the register. Again, ignored! I want to love and support this NOTO business but poor service every single time leaves me going elsewhere again and again.

My son and I love Saturday morning breakfasts here. You will not walk away hungry. The food is exceptions and the service is fast yet friendly. They also serve Farmers Brothers coffee which is one of my favorites from years ago.

This is my favorite breakfast spot in Topeka. It’s a tiny little place, and because it’s so popular seating can be an issue sometimes. But I think that just speaks to how amazing it is. Their breakfast casseroles are delicious, as well as the cinnamon rolls. The staff is great, even when they’re busy. My coffee mug is always filled and my water cup is never empty. If you want an original, small town diner experience, I highly recommend Bradley’s.

The atmosphere and wait staff at Bradley’s leave a lot to be desired, but the food is pretty stellar. I’ve mostly eaten burgers and fries here and they have always been tasty. The chocolate pecan pie here is outstanding. Everything is priced reasonably, but you will need to come early if you want to find a seat.

Outstanding food. Chicken fried steak, biscuits and gravy, cinnamon rolls and a galaxy of pies makes this down-home place special! Breakfast is always a treat!

Solid little place. Coffee is hot and good. I had the biscuits and gravy special with two eggs and hash browns. All was cooked great and super tasty. Food came out light speed fast and was hot and was exactly what I was expecting. Biscuits were homemade and you could tell. Highly recommend.

This is one of those small family-owned breakfast spots that are just great to go to over and over. I can honestly say this because I HAVE gone here a few weekends in a row with my husband and each time we have had a very tasty and satisfying breakfast! I usually go for whatever special they have, which is priced between $ 6.99-$ 7.29. You can’t really beat that anymore! Add in a coffee and I am one happy camper on a weekend morning. As for a suggestion… My favorite breakfast would be hamsteak with scrambled eggs and hashbrowns with a side of pancakes and peanut butter. It’s always way more than I can eat but I love it!

This will sound like a complete jerk thing to say, but I was really tempted to give this place a one star. Not that it’s bad, but rather it is that GOOD. This is nothing special, I admit. But they are a good throw back to a small town corner café in a city that grew up around them. I enjoy going in here, and feeling simpler in life. This is the kind of place you go to relax and pretend the world is simple, life isn’t as chaotic as it is and let the world slip by for a while. Only trouble is, it’s busy. There’s no need for me to get people to come here. I will find my table easier if they don’t.

This throwback American style corner café is located in Topeka’s up and coming NOTO Arts District. The banana crème pie’s flavor painted a portrait of the Chiquita banana beauty dancing a merengue with the baker — it was alive and voluptuous! Even the meringue had a hint of sweet and I was pleased. The dining room was charming and my table rocked from side to side as I put the final touches on the real estate contract I was soon to email. There was only one open table out of the 15 or so in the place, or else I might have swapped for a more sturdy foundation. I saw two people I knew and two elderly ladies chatted me up about my pie and my Jayhawk Tshirt. We agreed whether they or the Shockers won this afternoon we would feel both happiness and sadness. I was even tapped on the shoulder by a little boy with a spiel inviting me to his church and handing me a card for the play he appears in nightly. All in all, it was quite my type of down home«whole» in the wall restaurant experience. I will definitely return to try one of the other 20 sum-odd types of pie, or possibly breakfast. It was 12:15 when I arrived and they offered me breakfast OR lunch. Check it out. Spend some money. Maybe they’ll upgrade their wobbly table. Enjoy this NOTO Arts District experience and top it off with some espresso from a few doors down at Bunker Coffee!

Nothing really magical going on here. First the good. The cinnamon rolls were REALLY sweet and overall pretty good. Coffee was decent and they were cool about giving us a to-go cup. The people, both the wait staff and other patrons, were as sweet as the cinnamon rolls. Super fun to talk to everyone. The folks were also super friendly. That only increased when they learned we were just passing through. Wasn’t so stoked on my breakfast. Ordered a pancake sandwich. I was hoping to see some sort of funky presentation in the form of… ohhh I dunno, a sandwich. But alas it was just a breakfast plate. That’s cool though. I did not really mind, but I thought the eggs(ordered scrambled) were rather rubbery. Had to dunk them in hot sauce to get through it. The bacon/pancakes, while not bad, weren’t special. My wife got some sort of breakfast hash thing. Same issue with the eggs. Totally rubbery. Had to pick out the sausage, which itself had good flavor. The price was normal for breakfast fare so no added points for value. If they fixed the eggs thing I’d bump it to a 3 star rating. Probably will look elsewhere on my next trek through town.

What a great hole in the wall. I had the biscuits and gravy with eggs over easy. So delish. Great people watching and very busy. Coffee was good and the waitress was attentive. The location is small but it just lends to its charm. Love the location of this place. Some fun shops and a great artsy area in Topeka you never knew about.
