My favorite coffee shop ever. The owners are really personable and the coffee is amazing. You can tell that they are devoted to getting it right. They do it old style, unlike other places. Better to have quality over manufactured. You must ask about the ROOTBEERLATTE! The prices are extremely reasonable.

I’ve been here a handful of times. I keep wanting to give these guys one more chance. The coffee is decent but the service is GLACIALLY slow. On two separate occasions with two separate baristas I have waited 15+ minutes for an espresso drink… And I was the only person in line. The coffee is worth trying, but don’t come here if you’re in a hurry.

Quite simply my new favorite coffee shop. In the world of nobody cares corporate interactions, this is a diamond in the rough. My interaction with Bunker Coffee was from dumb luck, sheer happenstance and bad timing. I’ve always wanted to go to a place called NOTO Burrito. Filling a void in my schedule, I drove by at 10 am. To my shock there was an open sign illuminated in the window. So I stumbled in and am told by the gentleman who works at Bunker that the burrito shop doesn’t open until 11. Pity, only a few minutes too early. In curiosity I begin chatting about roasting and coffee varieties. As a former PT’s barista of about 30 seconds, these kinds of things interest me. I learn about California style roasting, how it’s different from Italian style and the ways it presents itself in flavor. I’ll spare you the nerdy boring details. The short of it is the coffee is amazing. Even more important, is the conversation was fun. I felt educated by someone who truly was in love with their job. All I can say is, get here and get something new to Topeka!
