The restaurant just closed, it is a new owner and everything is new. Food was awesome!!! Definite great place to eat.

Great price for a very convenient trip to the Chinese food express! Delicious Thai Tea! Great prices!!! Great service. Recommend for anyone in the area who is craving a quick bite. Only had the soup and it was 5 star soup… The place is a little Jenky but the food was good!

Chinese food… What more can I say? The food was good, but service was horrible. I’ll explain in a bit. There were three combo options available, — fried rice +chow mein + 1food item = $ 4.79 — fried rice +chow mein + 2food items = $ 5.79 — fried rice +chow mein + 3food items = $ 6.79 — plain fried rice in a small container is $ 1 I chose the 1food item option. The rice and chow mein was filled over the brim and the Kung pow chicken was generous. I’m sharing the meal with another person since we are light eaters so I’m thinking if I want to purchase more rice or not, and I took a while to choose the side item. I was seriously gonna buy another buck of rice but the bitchy lady owner said in chinese accent, «you take so long.» Man, once I heard that, THATWASIT. I said«that’s all», paid my $ 5.22, and left. You do not talk like that to a customer! The place was completely empty when I was there, no customers, only me, and you say I take long? You have nothing to lose except more customers if you give that attitude. I know I shouldn’t expect over the top service for cheap food, but whatevers. The fried rice and chow mein was really good though, wok fired and nicely fried.

I’ve been to this Hong Kong Express many times as it is the closest one to my house. It is in a small cramped strip mall which also houses a 7 – 11 and subway among other outlets so parking here is tight and getting a spot during peak lunch hours is almost impossible without trolling. I have always get the two item combo($ 6) which comes with rice noodles and any two dishes from the huge list of options laid out cafeteria style. Service is just about OK and the server tends to get a little impatient with procrastinators like myself but that’s fine. Taste wise its greasy and just above average but that’s fine too as you know what you are getting into. For less than the price of a foot long from the neighboring Subway the only thing left is to battle the guilt of ingesting so many calories at once. Take cards with a minimum of $ 10 so essentially it is cash only. Overall I feel other reviews of this place are harsher than the reality of the food that you get here.

If you’re desperate for Chinese, don’t have much money, don’t care for good taste, then go waste money here.

Prices are relatively low. Portions are generous. Atmosphere is whatever. Taste is bleh. I’m sorry but I would rather go to Panda Express :(

This place is way underrated and in my opinion deserves more stars and hence this Unilocal review update. I came back recently and knew I had to write an update and give it the more stars it deserves. It’s true this place is not at the best location and parking can be tight but the food and drinks this place offers makes up for that. Walking in you can see a total contrast from the mediocre settings outside. Inside, you can instantly see that the place is clean. They have a good selection of food entrees to pick from. They also have smoothies that you can order and they will make for you on the spot. You can add boba to your smoothies for free. I got myself a two item combo for $ 5.50 and it came with a free egg roll. For my combo, I got the chicken teriyaki and chicken with zucchini and mushrooms. The amount of food they give is awesome. They are very generous! Taste wise it is also just as awesome. The chicken teriyaki was tender. The chicken with zucchini and mushrooms was very flavorful. Big portions and big in taste, I was very impressed. My good impression of this place did not end with the food. I also tried the boba. Not many Hong Kong express places have boba but this one does and it is delcious boba too! Their boba is made fresh when you order. You have your choice of several flavors like watermelon, avocado, honeydew, strawberry, vanilla and coffee. Just like the food, the serving size of the boba was big. For $ 2.95 this is a steal! I am the first to admit I can be a boba snob who goes to those fancy boba places where boba prices can be as high as $ 5. I am ecstatic that I have found this place that offers boba that is equal in taste to the boba shops but cheaper in price! I tried the coconut pineapple boba and found the drink to be very refreshing. It was a nice, sweet treat for a summer day. I have a feeling this will be my new go-to spot for boba when I am in this area! I am updating my review for this place to because I believe they truly deserve it. The food and boba is very affordable and well worth the money! The food is very fulfilling and the boba is delicious!

Zero stars actually. Accepts no credit cards. Are they hiding taxes? Food looked terrible and tasted worse. The sweat and sour pork was blood red, just not a normal colour. The orange chicken was soggy(and sow was the pork). I should have walked out when I first walked in and saw the food. Will never go there again. The sheer amount of food they dish up should have been a dead giveaway.

I wish i could give NOSTARS. Absolutely INEDIBLE. Without a doubt the worst fucking meal I have ever purchased, anywhere. The food LOOKS ok, and they give a good portion, but wait until you try to EAT it. The chow mien/rice are like they are days old. Sweet and sour pork, overcooked, dry, and tough. Orange chicken, inedible. Horrible, Overcooked, rubbery, grainy, tasteless. The other item I tried on my 3 item combo was some other sort of chicken, it was tough and dried out. Now, this food may have been OK, and I been served it on the DAYITWASPREPARED. Or, maybe not. Almost $ 8 totally wasted. I had almost all of the food left, I wouldn’t give it to a dog. I hope to God i don’t get sick later. DONOTGO. AVOIDATALLCOSTS. TRUSTME.

Orange chicken was soggy, but tasted like orange chicken. Noodles were bright orange, much to my delight! :D But they lacked a certain something. Tasted like… they were made with stale flour, perhaps? 2⁄5 Inexpensive and convenient boba smoothie parlor! 5⁄5 Cash only. Poor parking. Understaffed. ;(1/5 If you’re absolutely dying and can’t stand another second until you eat a bite of Americanized Chinese fast food, then stop here. Otherwise, you’re probably better served eating at one of the dozen other Chinese restaurants within a half mile radius.

What’s your fortune today? Not so bad unless you get dried– out, tough meat and soggy vegetables that have been tanning under the heat lamps since the last Full Moon festival. Even the wrinkled wee pees in the fried rice are crying to be put out of their misery. I’ve been here once before, a long while back, and just like any typical Grand Panda Wok Hong Kong China Delight Express, if you aren’t lucky enough to get there just as the items are coming out from the kitchen freshly wokked, you’re in for a sad dried out long trek through the Gobi Desert. They do offer all sorts of Boba drinks to help you survive your adventure, and to give them a fair shake, the lady did offer to make fresh soup when I asked if they had any, which they didn’t. It was late, past 9pm, so I’m sure they weren’t expecting much more business that night, so why refresh your items? Just let ‘em all burn. 3-item combo under $ 7. Not the worst if the food is fresh, awful if the food is heat-lamped DOA. Cash only.

I should have known better, but I didn’t see the health rating B until I had eaten(rating displayed as of 11÷7÷08). The noodles in the chicken chow mein were bright orange, and the chicken wasn’t good. I got mine a la carte, and it was made«fresh.» The parking lot is a hassle since it’s a tiny strip mall-type area, and there are very few spaces for all the businesses(including a 7 – 11 and Subway).
