This is a great little Mom and Pop Hawaiian spot is tucked away hidden in a little strip mall off of the main thoroughfare. Price-wise it’s easy on the pocketbook but it’s big on portions and love. Hawaiian food is soul food, and there’s no lack of soul here. Give them a try, be a local and say hi to the aunties behind the counter.

First time here and it definitely won’t be the last. Large portions, good prices, great staff. I had the aloha combo plate, it had a little bit of everything. The terriyaki beef was excellent and their miso dressing was very tasty. Service was great, the staff is very personable and accommodating.

Friendly service, endless refills of hot, steamy and sippin-AMAZing coffee(as a barista, I find their coffee this delicious) combined with hearty food make a great restaurant. Don’t judge a book by its cover: if you’re near the area, come on in and definitely try this place! FOOD: We ordered the Portuguese Sausage & Eggs from the breakfast menu and the Loco Moco with substituted fried rice. And of course, regular coffee(again, endless refills.) SERVICE: Kind, attentive, generous and efficient with some hilarious personalities — need I say more? PARKING: There is more than enough parking spots available right outside.

Amazing, friendly family owned place. Food made with love. Service is awesome. Reminds of being in Hawaii. Seriously! I could totally be in a little Hawaiian diner, surrounded by locals, and getting ready to hit the beach.

Absolutely one of my favorite café’s for Hawian food. Truly authentic and service is always amazing. Not fancy, Hawian style. Bacon fried rice is delicious and a must try ! Portuguese sausage is made daily. Shaved ice is a plus. Small location filled with locals. A must if your in the area And want to try Hawian style breakfast.

Wowzers! The food come in huge portions and very flavorful! The hubby && my Unilocal BFF headed over after a hike to the Abalone Cove, it’s definitely a great place to pig out right after! Thanks for the rec, my Unilocal bae(; On the drive over, we browsed through the pictures and we for sure had to have the Aloha Royal! Who doesn’t love fried rice?!! It’s great for sharing and it’s a must try, especially for first timers. Sherry, one of our servers, suggested to add spicy mustard and it was better than I thought it’d taste! Only put a little though. My Unilocal bae ordered a one patty, Loco Moco. I tried the gravy, it was on point and super delicious when it’s hot! You can order it with two patties if you’re feeling extra hungry or want to take home leftovers. It is not a crime so feel free! I ordered the Aloha Combo Plate and upgrade the steamed rice to fried rice! Why the hell not?!! I enjoyed everything on my plate, I’ll definitely have to share it with someone next time! I had difficulty finishing everything as they weren’t stingy with portions at all! I liked adding sriracha with my food, try it! For dessert… oh yeah, we made sure to have room for that! Silly. Get a scoop of vanilla ice cream for 60cents only! Or be a kid and order shaved ice on a cup. Super cheap and satisfying. Not too heavy at all.

Been coming here for a while now, sitting writing this review while I eat my Portuguese sausage and eggs. Not many other good places in the area that I know of to eat island eats.(kings Hawaiian doesn’t count lol). Anyways back to the review, this place is a small eatery with a friendly staff. I did hear their shaved ice is supposed to be very good but never tried it. The portions here are big and that doesn’t affect the quality of the food. It does tend to get pretty crowded here during the morning hours and around brunch time with a lot of the elderly Asian people. As my mom used to say if there’s a long line or a lot of old Asians people, the food is probably good. u

My family and I love this place. It’s the perfect brunch spot because they have great Hawaiian style egg dishes but also lunch options like Teriyaki Salmon. Everything I’ve tried has been delicious and authentic! Also, all of the waitresses are incredibly nice and the service is great. It’s a pretty small restaurant so just know that there may be a little wait if you come around brunch time. They are very accommodating though. This place is a gem!

For SoCal residents, this hawaiian food stop is more Asian based, which is awesome. I have concluded several of the hawaiian food stops around the area can broken into either asian fused, american fused, or more authentic-ish. Please don’t take these categories to heart. That’s how I have noticed Hawaiian food. Back to the point, TNT’s Aloha Café’s has a unique menu selection including chicken katsu don, won ton saimin, and Char Siu Foo Young. One of their strengths in the kitchen is their teriyaki sauce. Their Hawaiian Royal dish just screams in flavors! So glad the dish is not drenched in teriyaki sauce. It’s a terrific balance of subtle sweetness with savory meat, and green onions? Mmm, how I love them. The loco moco is pretty good. Not the very best but it’s good and very homey. The slushies are great way to top off your meal on a hot summer’s day. Parking? You will have no problem finding it in their private lot. Be careful though because I believe some of the spots are for certain businesses only. Service? Service is there. There is a nice young lady that works the tables. You have your smiles and follow ups. Nothing disappointing. Ambiance? That’s where I believe it falls flat just a little. There aren’t tiki torches are god masks, hawaiian music, bamboo walls. It’s straight to the point diner looks BUTCLEAN nonetheless. TNT is a good place for some great teriyaki and asian infused based hawaiian meals. The prices are just about right and you can walk out pretty happy knowing it’s not the usual pasta mac with fried meat and pineapple juice. Will definitely return to try some of their other dishes.

The TnT fried rice! Wow! I could just leave it at that! I only order 1 item there, the teriyaki chicken bowl with the TnT fried rice. So, I can only comment on that. But, their rice is what sets that dish apart from all other bowl I’ve had! And I had quite a few!!! Lol. Super hidden spot, but, boy does it get packed! Give it a go! They won’t disappoint!

I am a fan of Hawaiian but other places are more polite to where they encourage another return. I didn’t feel welcomed here. My coke was flat with like 25 icecubes in it. They definitely killed the carbonation I wanted. I also ordered the fried saimin and wasn’t impressed. Oily and not very tasteful compared to other places. While the miso soup was very delicious, I think my main course could have been better. Lastly I am a very skinny guy so I’m already in my seat close to the table. A worker, I assumed, rolled in with a box and kicked my chair to get my attention because apparently I was in his way. Although he did say, «excuse me» after kicking my chair, I shouldn’t have to move since I’m in all the way and customers come first. And from the get go, why kick my chair to get my attention while I eat? I don’t think I’ll come back but if I do, I know now to get something else than the saimin.

*****70th Review***** Wow! The service here is superb! Sherry was very helpful with the menu and she gave us many options. My boyfriend ordered the half steamed rice/half TNT fried rice with a Loco Moco(half hamburger patty/half sausage patty) with a side of hotcakes. I ordered the fried rice with Portuguese sausage with spam musubi on the side. My other friend ordered saimin with a side of spam musubi. The food portions were perfect. Not too small, nor huge either. Just perfect, with the Loco Moco being an exception. Now that was a big portion! My boyfriend still killed it & enjoyed every bit of it. Haha! I thought it was SUPERYUMMY too. Especially the sausage patty, egg, gravy, and the TNT fried rice combined. By the way, the TNT fried rice had char siu in it :))) It was amazing! My fried rice had Portuguese sausage in it and damn, was I in heaven. @__@ I had some left overs and it still tasted really good after a few hours. I wanted to come back and get more, but I stopped my fat butt. Hahaha. My friend’s saimin was also good. Thankful that it wasn’t salty! The char sui was dry though, regardless, it was good. The noodles were soft and chewy(just the way I enjoy them). And finally, the spam musubi!!! Ahhhhh! SOOO good. Hands down, the BEST spam musubi in the South Bay. I do not care what you say. This is the best to me and I’ve had a lot of musubi from different restaurants(homemade as well)! This one is the one! :] It contains rice, spam, teriyaki sauce, and char sui mixed with a special sauce. Omgahhhd. Woooo! So good. My tastebuds were crying happy tears. The 3 of us left on such a happy note. The service was good(could’ve been a little better, but understandable due to the high amount of customers), food was amazing, and the prices were sooooo cheap. My fried rice w/Portuguese sausage & a side of spam musubi only came out to $ 7.90. SOCHEAP. (**Update 8/26/15** ordered a beef bowl with Portuguese Sausage for $ 7.90 and a scoop of vanilla ice cream for $ 0.60… Still amazed at how cheap everything is.(= The beef was very soft, like melt-in-your-mouth soft. I think it was kalbi. Rich flavor. Very pleased.) Whenever I’m in the area, best believe i’mma stop by! Just take my money alreadyyyyy! ;) xoxo lol

Ahhh high school memories. Small place great for breakfast or lunch. I have never differed from my menu choices of chicken teriyaki, bacon fried rice instead with mac salad and a small salad on the side. I may change it up and get chicken katsu instead. POG or lilikoi Hawaiian Sun to wash it all down. I know there is a minimum charge for credit cards, I think $ 10.

This is my favorite Hawaiian breakfast place in the south bay! I’ve been going for over 10 years now, always for breakfast. They have an amazing loco moco with house made Portuguese sausage, which is perfectly spicy and juicy. The portion is great for the price you are paying. Another favorite is the aloha royal Portuguese sausage, eggs, char su, mixed in with rice. Sure it’s not the nicest looking place, but who cares when the food and service great and consistent every time! Food — * * * * * Service — * * * * Price — * * * * Ambiance — * *

The reviews on this restaurant on Unilocal have completely changed the weight I give to the Unilocal review of a restaurant The reviews are misleading. Spent about the years of my life in Hawaii. If you know Hawaiian dinner food and are looking for that. .keep looking. The positive reviews ate from bots our people who mean well but don’t know Hawaiian food at all. No laulau, no kalua pig, no oxtail soup, no lomi salmon, no Haupia. I got loco moco and side of katsu chicken. And side of Mac. Macaroni salad was not Hawaiian style. Had peas and a pound of salt in it. Couldn’t Finish. Katsu is hard to mess up it was good. The loco moco beef patty had multiple unfamiliar and unwanted textures in it and again add much as I tried to find redeeming qualities I could not finish it. The best part was I wasn’t the one who had to pay for our meal. For that I’m thankful.

I went there to pick up food for dinner first time. there was only one person in line and the resetaurant did not seem too busy. But they had me wait for 40 minutes. I had to wait there with my 3 month old baby and I asked 3 times and they just kept on saying wait wait. No apologies! Super rude. Anyways, I had a high expectation on the food due to Unilocal review. But food was just too greasy and pricey for the quality of the food. And the meat was tough. I got 4 different dishes for my family and none of them were good.

Wow! Delightful hole-in-the-wall with some delicious Hawaiian food! The price is on point – $ 7.50 for one of the best double patty loco mocos I’ve had. $ 1.75 for a side of spam musubi! My wife loved her Aloha Royal, which she upgraded to bacon fried rice.(I had some and it was bomb.) Big portions, friendly service. Seemed to be family-run. Décor and furniture are just whatever but it doesn’t kill the vibe. Looking forward to trying shave ice next time.

Review is for the spam musubi. :) Love this small, family owned restaurant. Their spam musubi is sooooo good!!! I crave it all the time and it’s not your typical spam musubi. Theirs makes L&Ls taste like crap. Haha I think it’s all the extra stuff they put in it(ume & furikake) that makes a huge difference! So yummy, must try :)

***Review #2200*** The workers saw us and other customers walking in but didn’t say anything. The customer in front of me was getting annoyed at the workers for ignoring him too. Finally I got tired of waiting and approached one of the workers. The worker took my name down but I told her that the other group was in front of me. I saw 2 empty tables and asked if we could sit at one of them. She said ok. you can sit at one of them. I guess you have to be aggressive to be seated at this place because noone will acknowledge you. Aloha royal($ 8.75): Portuguese sausage, eggs, cha siu & onions. I asked for spam fried rice instead of steamed rice for extra charge. I prefer Gardena Bowl’s aloha royal over the plate from TNT. Hawaiian Sun($ 1.75): your typical Hawaiian canned drink. Shaved ice is also available but I don’t know if I want to go back here again. The service got better once we were seated though. 3 stars! TNT’s Aloha Café is almost yummylicious!

I have been going here forever! I always get my hair done at Salon de Nobi and then pop over here for lunch! For the longest time I always got the Aloha Royal. It has EVERYTHING and is so yummy. Similar to the Hawaiian Royal at the Gardena Bowl. Lately, I’ve been getting the Teriyaki Beef Burger! It’s SOOOOO good. The beef is excellent and it is perfectly paired with the teriyaki sauce. It also comes with lettuce and tomato on the side. I always get the fries with it because it totally makes a perfect meal. I usually always get spam musubi here too. I usually don’t eat spam too much but they make their musubi with ume(plum) and furikake which makes it extra bomb. The staff is always really nice and friendly. They make you feel like you’re right at home with your ohana

Small Hawaiian Diner… that’s this place. The popular dish, Aloha Royal, does stand out. Love it, and probably the only reason I’d come back. Definitely a comfort food to me. It’s rice with scrambled eggs, char siu, green onions and drizzled with teriyaki sauce. I ordered the loco moco with burger patty and Portuguese sausage. The patty was pretty thin, dry, not flavorful. The sausage was a lot better, I’d recommend. My friend ordered the Aloha Combination which comes with rice, beef teriyaki, fried wonton, macaroni salad. I had the beef teriyaki and it was pretty good but also drenched in sauce. The only thing that makes this place stand out from other Hawaiian places is the Aloha Royal! Yum.
