Great atmosphere, very romantic, and great food. The food doesn’t come on a plate, it’s more like a bento box, i making it harder to mix.

This place was very good. Would go back. My friend Luis and I had the experience of going there about a Week ago on a Thursday. Food was off the charts. Service was attentive and the waitress was the sweetest, most soft spoken and extremely knowledgable to our needs. We were not familiar to the menu. But our waitress, Ronnie, was helpful with everything we needed and just a pleasure. Food, beyond delicious. Will be back again. Hopefully with a lot of my colleagues. The orange Shrimp tempura was our personal favorite. Great job. Not 5 stars music too loud.

Innovative with some of their sushi like the Totowa and drinks. I know I can never be bored going to this location because there is always something new to try. Good for group and date setting. It’s located within a shopping complex so there is ample parking. Area is clean and staff is friendly. Can’t wait to go again.

I’ve been here plenty of times, its become my go to place for sushi. They have a great selection of sushi, and if your not into sushi the kitchen menu is sure to have something. Great atmosphere for after work meetings or winding down the day with some good cocktails. Most of my visits have been in the early evening, but I see they sometimes have a dj, and I’ve heard it can get really crowded. Overall if you like sushi or want a trendy place to go to check out Sushi Lounge.

Tonight for New Year’s Eve we were excited to go spend the night at sushi lounge. Until they messed up our reservations and the host basically made it seem like it was our fault. The host was going a hundred miles an hour as if he was on something. Our waitress was rude, not friendly and acted as if it was a huge issue she has to serve and help us. The food was decent, the drinks sucked. I would never go back or recommend tho location.

We decided to Sushi Lounge to celebrate a friends birthday after reading Unilocal reviews. The place is upscale and very nice. They had a DJ. No dancing on the floor though. We ordered totowa roll and had hot saki. Food was absolutely amazing. Definitely going back and would recommend sushi lounge to everyone!

My gf and I come here all the time and we are never let down by the food or service: it was about time we write a positive review for the business. My gf loves the martinis, especially the lychee one, the grilled chicken wrap, and the rewards that she piles up from our frequent visits. Personally, I enjoy the Hibachi, the Totowa roll, and their happy hour(Mon-Fri 3 – 6) during the week. We like going during the day because it is more calm and relaxing compared to the club-like atmosphere at night. Pricey, but the quality makes it worth it.

Horrible experience. Came here on a Sunday night when it wasn’t even packed … Asked to sit on the other side of the lit up wall because it was much quieter. I sat there for 15 minutes without any staff coming over to even offer a glass of water. After waiting another 5 minutes I decided it was time to leave. No one even said bye. I will never come back or waste my time to think about going back.

Not sure how long it’s been since I was here last, maybe a year, but it’s nowhere as good as it used to be. First of all, if you are dining in be ready for the blaring cheesy techno music at 8:30pm. It’s impossible to hear anyone because it’s so loud, so I wouldn’t come here for a date or quiet night. Second, there used to be a cozy area in front of the bar with a functioning fireplace. It appears the fireplace is no longer as it was 58 degrees and it wasn’t turned on. The area we were sat was freezing and there was a door that kept being open into the back area. The service was average and the sushi was pretty good, but not worth the price when all things are considered. Doubt we will be back again.

Excellent, fresh, tasty and creative sushi. My favorite jalapeño salmon roll so flavorful nice chunk of salmon. Appetizer we always get everywhere jalapeño yellowtail but this one was by far best. Light sour lime sauce was refreshing and delicious. Edamame good portion double then any other places we go and great sea salt. I used to eat here a lot it was good sushi place but now it is fantastic. Dessert we got the fried green tea ice cream. Omg no joke must try. Seems like a funnel cake batter. Overall FANTASTIC sushi restaurant. And good music good drinks nice crowd.

I really do enjoy Sushi Lounge, but I can’t give it 3.5 stars and I don’t know if it deserves 4. Mainly because of the price. Every time we go there we end up leaving and feeling like we didn’t get a ton of food but spent a ton of money. The Pork Gyoza are a good example of the value– you only get 4 small dumplings and it makes it feel more like a bite to start the meal and not a true appetizer. But the special rolls ARE really good– I especially loved the Coconut Shrimp Roll and the Land and Sea Roll. The Hudson Roll was also great. We got the free Unilocal dessert and maybe it was our fault for picking chocolate cake at a sushi place, but it was just so so. We’ll probably go back at some point, mainly for that Coconut Shrimp Roll.

Food is good, outdoor patio is nice, esp. bc I love outdoor dining. However, service is massively slow. One solo waitress working all tables inside and out. She was busting her tail… I felt terrible for her. Management needs to get it together here. Also, inconsistent drinks.

I have been back here twice months later and the sushi was never as good. This is disappointing. I went on a Friday(twice) and the fish was not fresh at all. I no longer eat here. There are other places in the area.

My friends and I came here on a Wednesday! This place was def. turnt up for a Wed. It was packed. Our party of 3 had a 20 min. wait. I love the atmosphere of this rest. and there is outdoor seating with fire pits. Wednesday is half off martinis. The waitress seemed appalled when I passed on the house liquor for top shelf. I also asked if they had Yamazaki as I was in the mood for some Jap Scotch. She just looked confused and said no we don’t have that. My biggest pet peeve at a rest. is when the wait staff is not familiar with the liquor selection at the bar. We got the usual edamame and miso soup. The edamame wasn’t fully cooked buy we ate it anyway. I also got a side of fried rice which was super dry. I got the birds of paradise roll. I was glad it was delicious after the earlier sequence of events. Its salmon, tuna and avocado with a mango purée. It was the best part of my experience at Sushi Lounge. The waitress had 4 tables but did not frequent ours at all. We wanted to order more drinks and shots, but the waitress did not even glance our way. I would only come back only for the sushi!

*lobster risotto(this was okt; I honestly can’t even tell you if there was even a bit of lobster in this dish; the rice was too hard and definitely not like a traditional risotto which is much creamier; this was more like a «loose» sticky rice than anything else; this dish was lacking salt, moisture and just overall flavor; maybe if they cooked the grains in a seafood broth and then tossed on the sauteed mushrooms and scallions, then it would be better and perhaps qualify as an actually risotto dish; for $ 14, I’d also like to see some fuckin lobster) *Thai Basil chicken(there was a perfectly cooked chicken thigh sitting on top of chili fried rice; I was so excited that the meat was bone in, so the meat retained its juices; I loved the candied garlic!!! there was like 7 whole cloves of garlic that I consumed and felt like the happiest girl eating every one. The chili fried rice was surprisingly really good too, however, it’s definitely not spicy but any means. I really really enjoyed this dish and would gladly order this again) I have been to this location several times and I am never disappointed. I like the service, food is reliable and drinks are also on point. The bar at night is very nice. It’s not too crowded and you’re not fighting with anyone to get a drink. There’s a DJ on the weekends but no one ever dances and there’s no real dance floor anyway. During nicer weather, there’s an outdoor patio that opens. It’s sooo cute!!! They try to make it swanky looking even though you’re in the middle of Totowa. Haha. Overall, Sushi Lounge is a place that I keep returning to because of its consistency.

Sushi Lounge is very nice. The space inside is beautiful. We came here to meet some friends for a birthday dinner, but read about their happy hour so we got there a bit earlier. We enjoyed the most amazing calamari — nice and crisp with a delicious tangy dipping sauce and some beers. Once our party arrived, we had some more appetizers and sushi. My fiancé and I are just diving into the sushi world so we weren’t very bold with our choices, but everything we had was really good. The only downside to this place is that the prices are pretty high. I would definitely return, but I would try to make it specifically for happy hour instead of having dinner here. There are plenty of other places that are just as delicious in the sushi game and not as pocket burning.

Really like this place! Great sushi and drinks. I got the Totowa roll and the spicy salmon roll. Both good and fresh. The place is also very nice and they have ladies night which is also a plus. Will def. return!

This restaurant is a fun place to go if you’re looking for something that offers more than just dinner and if you’re looking for a better crowd than 46 lounge. It has a lively night crowd and it appears the majority of people go to enjoy the night life crowd and ambiance. The food is pretty good, but nothing super special and on the pricey side for sushi. My friend and I went and had dinner and a few drinks and the bill came out to $ 100 for just two people, but then again we did order two drinks each and the cocktails are around $ 14. Our server was very attentive and nice, and even though the food and drinks were a tad overpriced, it was still good quality. The décor and ambiance is very high end. Afterwards we went to the bar area where they had seating at the bar top, bar tables, and a lounge-y area with fireplace. The DJ was playing fun music and there was a good crowd. Everyone seemed 25+ and were dressed pretty classy. I didn’t see any one that seemed like the«jersey shore» type of crowd. We left around 930 and the place was just starting to fill up. I’d like to go back there when they are running the drinks specials.

This place is pretty cool. I’ve come here on a bunch of occasions and always have a good time. The atmosphere is very cozy. They have bar seating and outdoor seating. They have a nice little fireplace that you can gather around when its winter. In the summer, the outdoor space is always the place to be. Wednesday nights are the popular night to go here b/c its half price martinis. It gets really crowded. Its a very«north jersey» crowd. The sushi here is good– nothing great or bad. Ive had better, especially for the pricing. However, this place overall is pretty cool. Lots of parking– conveniently located on Rt 46.
