This is a coney island on the border of Woodhaven and Trenton. It’s very, very, small, and has tables along with a breakfast bar. My husband and I recently had breakfast there, so we cannot speak for the lunch or dinner food. Our only complaint about the interior is that we wish there would have been more space. Going in there with a large group of people may pose a logistical issue. Everything was clean, and otherwise fine. If you’re up for a good healthy dose of jovial sarcasm from the owner and staff, you will fit right in here. There are no shortages of large personalities in this small family owned diner. The employees work hard here, and it shows. I ordered a ham and cheese omelet, along with a side of sausage. It came with hash browns and toast, and was delicious. The ham was amazing, and we think it was Dearborn Ham… YUM. My husband ordered Andy’s Hungry Man special(or something along those lines). It came with three eggs, two sausages, two slices of bacon, toast, and hashed browns. He had no complaints. Along with my soda and his chocolate milk, our tab came to a bit pricey– 25.00 – this ranks as a very pricey breakfast for downriver! However, with the large portion sizes, along with the quality of the food, I don’t mind spending the extra money! Would definitely recommend! Should also note that our server was excellent and prompt!

My family has been coming here at least once a week(if not twice) since I was 8 years old(I’m 23). Sue, Amanda, and Doreen are family. They truly care about you. My grandma just passed away and they came to the funeral home with a giant pizza and a huge basket of treats. When my mom and dad divorced three years ago sue was as broken hearted as the rest of us — but more supportive than anyone else could ever have been. They’ve fed me through finals, breakups, school breaks, birthdays, and any other life event you could imagine. This is a place you could only be so lucky as to be a regular.

Luke warm coffee doesn’t even detract from this experience. As long as I have been going there the same little lady waits ALL of the tables and works her sweet hind end off. The food is definitely your standard coney island affair, and the hot dogs look delicious! Definitely visit if you want to be treated with good breakfast and great service.

This is exactly what you want from a local Coney Island — cheap, tasty and fast food, a toothless smile from an incredibly friendly waitress and cozy and clean atmosphere. I ordered a #1($ 4.70) with 2 over easy eggs, 2 slices of rye toast, 4 slices of bacon and subbed out the hash browns for 2 big as your head pancakes(.99 substitute). Everything was perfectly cooked with the only downfalls being one cup of coffee that was luke warm and service at first was a bit slow as it was very busy. I would definitely return and bring friends.

It’s a half pike! What a dive! OK. This is not the best place to get your coneys. when you’re in a hurry and want something cheap, this is the place. The coney was… ok…It was taken from a pan that had hot water to keep the hot dog warm. The coney chili was hot but nothing to write home to mom about. They do have some local hot sauce that you can top off your coney, which I did, hot, it added some flavor and sweat to my forehead. Had regular fries… OK… Like I said, fast and cheap. I was back in the office in 25 minutes. The place is real small, 5 tables and a row of booths in the back and a «bar» with about 7 stools right behind the cook. This is definately NOT a non-smoking place.
