I’ve been to this Dollar Tree a few times, it’s 50⁄50 whether they have the stuff I need but if not, Walmart is right next door.
Today some coworkers and I were shopping for decorations for a baby shower, and they had a lot to choose from which was good. When we were checking out, the cashier asked us if we needed balloons, which we hadn’t thought of, and we were able to pre-​order them so that they will be ready the day of the party, about two weeks from now.
Good customer service and the store is always clean, as well.

They have every gadget you could ever want, except one of the things I specifically came to find, which was stove pans to replace my mom’s grody looking ones. The cashier said they do carry them, but that they were sold out, and always sell out quickly. Who knew stove pans were such a hot commodity?
I did find the shower door squeegee I wanted to buy, and a small thing of L’Oreal hair repair crème. I also couldn’t resist buying the kitchen scrubber sponges, just for the French version of their name. Yes, I am easily amused.
And you guessed it, everything was just a dollar!

As far as dollar stores go, this one is pretty good. I’m especially a fan of the good-​sized greeting card section for stocking up in January for the year. If you need to stuff goody bags or inexpensive cleaning products, this would be a good place to head for.
It is fairly cramped, with narrow aisles and towering stacks of STUFF all around you, and there’s always a line. I’d still rather go here than Wal-​Mart, though!

I stopped in here because I had heard that Dollar Tree has flash cards for children, and a friend of mind is starting her new job as a first time teacher of Grade 1. I was able to pick up quite a few things for her classroom as well as crayons, markers, construction paper and a pack of 8 glue sticks for a $ 1. Not too bad.
The store is organized well, and the staff is helpful and friendly.
