5 full stars for Deval! If you need a tie, suit, shirt, whatever… anything, EVERYTHING, from Hugo Boss, Deval is your go-​to guy!
I’ve always thought Nordstrom provided the best service, to the point that I only shop at a handful of stores besides Nordstrom. Well, after I’m tired of being frustrated with the lack of service at Somerset’s Nordstrom (worst service EVER, not to mention poor selection… I really do expect more from Nordstrom). Luckily, the bf also wanted to check out the actual Hugo Boss store to see what options the store had… and we met the BEST SERVICE I’ve EVER encountered when it comes to picking out menswear.
Things we REALLY like about Deval:
1. He’s not pushy.
2. He wants you to be happy. Do you ever shop somewhere and feel bad/​too scared to return something? NOT HERE… seriously, we were so happy with the service that we both wanted the tie to match perfectly (and it did!).
3. He knows his stuff. I missed it, but the bf mentioned how impressed he was that Deval had this cool little way of folding a pocket square.
4. He’s a mind reader! My bf didn’t mention to Deval that he was looking at pocket squares, but Deval somehow read his mind and picked one out for him!
5. He SERIOUSLY anticipates what you want and delivers. How many times do you go somewhere looking for the perfect tie… but then stupidly forget your shirt/​jacket at home?! Deval whipped up a makeshift shirt/​jacket combo based on my bf’s description so that we’d be able to see the tie with the complete outfit.
6. He’s so friendly, accommodating, and personable. I sometimes hate walking into places that sell suits bc they can be so pretentious and uppity, but Deval was not the least bit pretentious. He was gracious, knowledgeable, and has made me a huge fan of the Hugo Boss store.
Kudos to Hugo Boss for finding such a gem of an employee, someone with such vast knowledge and talent. We will definitely be back for our suit needs.
