Went for lunch. The outside appearance is atrocious. We couldn’t even find it and we were sitting right in front of it. Looks like a deserted slum bar from the outside. The sign is even missing. The inside was a shock after the initial impression. It was clean, softly lit, tasteful décor. We were there on a Friday at noon and there were only a few tables of customers. That worried us a bit. The service was totally emotion less. However we received excellent service, just without a single flex in the waiters voice. He seemed totally uninterested. But being as he was attentive and took our order correctly, we were okay with this. Again, our first impression was a little of concern. We shared a Greek salad for starts. It was fresh and well prepared. It was not very large but plenty for two women as a starter. We then shared a taco dinner. Everything was once again fresh and well prepared. It was very tasty and the sauce they served with it was great. It could have used a bit of tomatoes or something on the tacos. They were just tilapia and shredded lettuce. Not too exciting, but they were very very good anyway. We ordered guacamole to go. It was a huge huge cup full of fresh and delicious guacamole with warm out of the oven chips. So I guess I can summarize this by saying the food was excellent, the service was good, but the whole place lacked overall character and will not be a place I think of when trying to decide where to eat next time. This is a great place if you are trying to find a quiet little hiding place for lunch.

It was really random. When we got there it was about 3 or 4, and the place was deserted. There were only 4 souls at the bar. We had to go look for our waiter, who then came over without a uniform, and instead a greasy t-shirt. It smelled moldy and smoky in the place. The food was okay, but the atomosphere was so depressing and blah, we pretty much lost our appetite. P. S. The waiter also huffed and puffed when asked to get some condiments, and also forgot to bring my Red Bull, and I had to go up to the counter and remind him. It was pitiful.

Mediocre food. Service less than stellar. Was my first time there and likely my last. Too bad because I love to support local establishments.

What Matt W. said sums this place up 110%. It fucking sucks. Expensive and mediocre.

I don’t get this place. It’s a «pub» in a strip mall that’s actually really expensive. I guess my review is, «I only went once and never came back».

I enjoy wellington pub a lot because the food is delicious. I’d have to say though that the service is very slow and the food can be incredibly pricey for barfood. I come to the place because of the coupon but even with that you end up spending a lot more than you think you would. My main complaint was our server who was not personable and took FOREVER to do anything. I’m not one for those servers who check on you so often you can barely get a bite into your food but I’m also not a fan of places where you actually need to flag the waiter down for water. I will continue to go here because the food is good but perhaps stick to lunchtime since it would be much more cost effective

Wow. What a hidden gem. I am really REALLY surprised there aren’t more reviews for this place(only one from over a year ago?!). I guess people may be turned off because it’s in a strip mall and looks very benign. To be honest, we only came here because we had a coupon…but we are glad we did and we would definitely go back. It’s a pretty big place with a big dance floor(and I assume where the musicians play), a big bar, and two seating areas with probably a total of 12 – 14 booths and as many tables. It was dark in there, but each booth had a light on the wall. The menu was way more extensive than I thought it would be – and had everything from nachos and calamari to fish and chips to filet mignon to pizza to reubens… including probably 20 things on the Specials sheet. Yes, it did seem scattered and it worried us a bit. In my mind, I could actually hear Gordon Ramsay screaming at the owners a la Kitchen Nightmares to pick three specials and make them the best and to cut the menu down to a reasonable size. We started with the guacamole, because the waitress recommended it. The menu said homemade, but I have learned not to trust the text on a menu, so I looked her right in the eyes and said«ISITREALLYHOMEMADE?» and she assured me it was and that it was really good. For $ 8, it had better be. ANDITWAS. Better than some guac I’ve had at Mexican places. With chunks of avocado, tomato, and onions! It was only lacking a bit of salt, since the chips weren’t salted. Hubby got the fish and chips with fries and it was tasty. He commented that he really liked the beer batter and that it was done right. I had a bite and it was definitely good. I ordered the shrimp and scallop pasta dish(that the waitress also recommended) and whoa. For the price, I expected a few less shrimp and scallops, but there were 4 – 5 shrimp and 4 – 5 scallops(I should have counted before I started eating, and then I couldn’t remember how many I’d eaten – just know there was more than you’d expect). The pasta was cooked perfectly, the sauce was light and delicious, and the garlic bread was nicely crunchy and chewy. With the great service and food that was, honestly, miles ahead of what we were expecting, I give them a hearty four stars. And I recommend you all try this place.
