I live in Texas but was visiting family in Truckee over the Thanksgiving weekend. So glad I happened upon Keena! What a great shop! I had to stop myself from buying way too much cute stuff because the selection of clothes, jewelry, and gifts was great and so affordable. Roxanne, the owner, was there and was super helpful with ideas. I hate pushy salespeople, but Roxanne was genuinely just nice and helpful. I hope she finds a reason to open in Austin. Until then, I now have another reason to look forward to my next visit to Truckee.

A local store with affordable prices. Lots of cute jewlery, clothes, purses, shoes, a few sexy undergarments, accessories & nick nacks for the home too.
Right between Starbucks & Safeway in TRUCKEE. The owner Roxanne is the former owner of Sassafras. I plan to support the store when I can & need something… a gift or a new cute sweater. It is so sad when the main time we shop at a local store is when it is going out of business.
I tried to shop on commercial row this weekend, being Labor Day & lots of sales. First the paid parking was a drag, then the sales were a joke. A blouse or pants…50% off $ 150!!! How can a person shop local for those prices!!!
Keena is my new go to… original items without ridiculous prices.
