Stopped in to buy Sweet Greens Smoothie and no Smoothies were available. Granted, this is a busy time of year with Ski season but to be out of all Smoothies is not acceptable management over sight. Typical of all Safeway operations.

This location is always the best. Friendly servers and if your a regular, your drink is already made when you pay. This is a busy Starbucks since it is tge only one in town(real one, safeway has one two doors down) for 19,000 full time resid3nts. Expect long lines during weekends and holidays

The line was long and I waited nearly 45 minutes for a Misto and a Latte!!! What is more irritating, than the wait, is the coffee was not made in order(folks that were at the end of the line, behind me, had their drinks first). I received the Misto first and then had to wait another 10 minutes for the second drink. And don’t dare ask if they have your second drink! The barista was rude! There were more cash registers open, than baristas making coffee!

You can tell that Starbucks put a little extra effort into the décor, but not the staff. I except that Starbucks isn’t the best coffee because it’s the most consistent coffee… But when the barista can’t make decent drinks by pressing buttons, something is wrong.

They refused to make my signature drink, black coffee blended hot with butter. I’m not coming back and I’m telling all my paleo cross fit people to avoid this one.

The only Starbucks in Truckee, well not really, there is another one couple door down from this one, which is inside Safeway :) This Starbucks had fireplace inside, I don’t know it’s work or not since it’s not on today, but will be nice when it’s cold outside. Will be coming back for more if we are in the area or for some snow :)

Went to this Starbucks on a Sunday. There were several people ahead of us and line moved quickly. The place was filthy inside. I attached a picture of the food case as well as the area you get the napkins/straws. They were out of napkins. Floors and counters were sticky and disgusting. When I looked over the counter, the countertops were dirty with spilled drinks, empty cups and trash. The food case was dirty and gross– one of the items looked like it had a marshmallow on top of it with a bite taken out(see pic attached) My drink was not made right and my daughters frappacino was not blended with enough ice so it was the consistency of milk. Staff was friendly but completely oblivious to the cleanliness of the store. It was so bad, I will be making a call to speak to the manager/corporate office on Monday.

I do love this Starbucks, every time we visit Truckee we come here. Even though the décor is the same as all the others, you can sorta feel that clean mountain air in your bones and the mountain water that was used in your coffee. Service is always friendly, albeit a little slow, but it’s the mountains I think that gives everyone a more chill, laid back, slower paced attitude.

Horrible service. Rude, condescending employees who think that they’re better than you. In addition, they’ve gotten my order wrong repeatedly. I really tried to give this Starbucks a chance, but every time I come here they treat me so badly. I’m just going to recommend that nobody come here, EVER.

This is a very busy location. The line can sometimes be out the door and the store is on the small side so it can feel very crammed when it is busy. Staff is very friendly and tend to get drinks out fast. My drinks always come out as expected! One a quieter day when there is a chill in the air it is nice to sit inside by the double sided fireplace!

This has to be the best Starbucks anywhere! Like most mornings I went in and the line was almost out the door. I watched the young lady(Terra) behind the counter help at least ten people in front of me. She didn’t skip a beat! She greeted everyone with a smile and kind words. She was positive, alert and friendly. The line moved so fast and my coffee was perfect. What an awesome start to my day. Thank you!

It was crazy busy, but Larissa is the best barista by far. She took and made my order and my dates just the way we like it. She has the best energy ever. I’d hire her if I could. You rock!

Great spot. EXTREMELYBUSY location at least it was when I was there. Line to the door that was at least 20 deep consistently! But they made the drinks accurately and in an ample amount of time. :)

The two barista I dealt with were very friendly, the others that made others drink seemed to have attitude but I don’t think any one complained. I’ll return when I’m back in town :)

This was a bustling little Starbucks in Truckee, CA, your standard Starbucks. They had all of my favorite scones which was a plus, cranberry/orange & cinnamon chip. They were busy on a Friday morning at 9am, my skinny vanilla was made well. It is located in a strip mall, so a drive thru wasn’t available but they did have a nice double sided fireplace with a small amount of seating. The only complaint was part of the service, they forgot a coffee and when we asked about it, it was alluded to it being our fault for not ordering it or perhaps it wasn’t rung up. We paid for it, just say sorry instead of placing the blame on the customer and give us the coffee with a smile. It was a pikes place coffee not a complicated drink that takes 4.5 minutes to make.

Stopped in while visiting the Truckee area… This is a pretty nice Starbucks… they have a fireplace which made the room toasty. They have plenty of chairs and the staff was quick. We will be back.

A typical Starbucks. Just like a McDonald’s in France, it’s all the same where ever you go. Service is fine, cleanliness always good too. Mistakes are quickly corrected, and usually with a free drink card. I’d have to agree with some of the other posters that the staff is a but chilly. Not all of them, but some. I usually avoid it after 0800 on any given day, especially in the winter: It gets crazy busy with out-of-towners grabbing a cup before skiing. Summer isn’t a whole lot better. Weekends? Forget it. Go to the Starbucks hidden 50′ away inside Safeway to get the same thing in half the time. I can tell you that because I’ll never be anywhere near that whole area on a weekend. Enjoy.

Well, to say the least, this has been quite a vacation. It seems like everyone in this cold season has turned cold as well. I walked into Starbucks, conveniently located right next to Safeway, with my boyfriend to get some drinks to go along with our breakfast. Although parking was fine, the line was to the door. We squeezed in and waited about 10 minutes but all the while the barista with the weird haircut is giving me looks, but I didn’t say anything because maybe I’m overthinking it, y’know? Not everyone who gives you a funny look is necessarily being negative. So I give the chick the benefit of the doubt. The nice redhead took our order, my boyfriend got a soy white mocha with cinnamon dolce and I ordered a soy chai. Mind you, my drink was ordered first. Well, we wait over by the drink bar and the 1⁄2 angled bob cut barista calls out some of the additives of his drink just to clarify some things, so he walks up and she starts flirting with him! «Mmm, that sounds good.» ugh. Well, that didn’t even bother me because I was standing back looking at the coffee cups and whatnot. It registered with me that it was kindof weird for his drink to be called out first when, in sequence, mine was ordered first. Well, she then calls out«Soy Chai for Kathy!» I replied with«It’s Caitie, haha, thanks,» and she huffed under her breath in dismissal of my joking comment. Then, I felt like this girl was being deliberately rude so I read the name on my drink: «Caitlin.» How did it come out Kathy??? Fine. That’s all fine and dandy. I take a sip of my soy chai latte and it tastes like pure milk. AGAIN, I’m thinking that my taste buds are off and I try to give the girl the benefit of the doubt. My boyfriend has worked for Starbucks for over 2 years so I had him sip my drink. He then stirred it and sipped it again, shook his head and went to the register to talk to the redhead again because we were DONE with the barista. He came back and explained«She didn’t put any chai in it. At all.» How are you going to give me a venti cup of steamed soymilk when I clearly ordered a chai and it’s written on the cup AND you called it out? My boyfriend is a partner, don’t mess with my drink. I’ll know. BADEXPERIENCE.
