Holy Cow one Person in front of us in the drive through line and it still took 15 minutes for two mc muffins. Boo

First time here. Waited 5 minutes at the drive thru and didn’t move so I parked and went inside. Waited another 30 minutes for my food. I ordered 2 things, definitely not «fast food.» I’ve never seen such a discombobulated bunch. To top it off, I got home without the drinks (I just wanted to get out of there so I forgot about them) and my order was wrong. 2 breakfast sandwiches and the order was wrong.

I recently started going to this McDonald’s a lot because it’s close to work, on the way, & no city sales tax. But every time i come to order breakfast thru the drive thru between 5:30am-7am they take forever! I shouldn’t have to wait 3 minutes for an order when nobody’s in front of me. McDonalds is supposed to be the fastest but for some reason this particular location has slow service! I haven’t had this problem w/​other mcdonalds only this one! It’s not until someone honks that the employees start moving a lil faster. The young male inside apologized for the wait once which i appreciated. But the young lady inside w/​glasses didn’t. The older lady inside is good & better than the young lady.
It was worse when i first started going there last month in august. There was always a young employee cleaning the driveway. Hosing it down, sweeping, & blocking the last window out. The driveway looks clean w/​no trash every time i see him cleaning it so why is he cleaning it? Perhaps put that guy inside to help take orders instead, or hire an additional employee because another young male & a lady working inside need help!
Also, why is the 2^nd lane of the drive thru usually closed?
There was a time when i came & the drive thru line was 7 cars full so i didn’t even bother & left. Cmon, didn’t McDonalds invent the drive-​thru?!

This McDonalds used to have great service with a very professional courteous staff. I’d frequently see the manager as well. I’d drive out of my way to this location because the food was always fresh, they were friendly, and my orders were right. Recently something changed. There are young men working at the windows who seem confused and are not professional or polite. No please, thank you, or I apologize. I ordered an iced tea light ice and when I got to the first window the guy was perplexed and had to put my order in again. The ice was not light when I got it either. On a second occasion, I ordered a sausage mc muffin no sausage. I got an English muffin with nothing on it! Seriously, how difficult is taking an order! The guys at the windows either do far too many drugs or just have really low IQ’s, or both.
