I live 403 steps away from Subway. Yes, I counted, out loud — and all the while hubs looked at me like I’m the biggest goofball on the face of the earth (I might as well be).
Yeah yeah, it’s a chain. It’s predictable. You already know what to expect if you’ve been to one. However, I did not predict this particular Subway to be so… fresh. The vegetables looked happy. The cucumber was crisp. The not-too-soft tomatoes were a nice red. All the veggies were fresh at 12pm and they’d been open since 7am. 7am, what? Omelet Sandwiches all day, folks. They sound good too.
The service was likewise pretty good. Again, what? Good service at Subway? The lovely gals that work at this location have a great sense of humor. With that, I’ll leave you with a modified version of their slogan…
