My favorite gyros in Tucson! The meat is always moist and has an excellent flavor, the veggies are always fresh, and the service is always fast.

Reminds me of my trip to Athens. Same exact taste with the lamb and chicken. Perfectly roasted,. Tomatoes and onions fresh. Nice soft pita. If you love greek food this restaurant is pretty on par!

The food and staff are great! Rare combination these days! Whatever they’re doing they shouldn’t change a thing, they’ve earned my family’s business, and that’s no easy feat.

The gyro meat is tender and moist. The pitas are served warm and are soft and delicious. Been here often and really like it for a quick, flavorful, and pretty healthy lunch

I was initially bothered by the fact that they ask for a tip when you place your order because it was my first time and I didn’t even know if I was going to like this place, but the food was really good and the service wasn’t too bad(cashier seemed a bit inattentive but the lady who brought was our food was friendly) so I walked out not minding it, I would come here again

I’m new to Tucson, and was pleased to find such a delicious Greek place. Located in Foothills mall. I ate a beautiful and Delicious GYRO!!! It had soo much meat that I initially couldn’t see the pita!!! The hummus was delicious as well. Good kid’s menu. Definitely coming back!!!

Great little tucked away Greek joint with totally reliable and consistent food. Gyro’s in any format are well seasoned tender and always juicy. Avgo Lemono soup is the absolute best in town and the tzatziki sauce is fresh and tangy. Worth the trip and prices are reasonable.

I ate at this place so much I had to take a break for a month but I am back. The only thing I eat is the Greek Salad, and I have added gyro, steak, and chicken to it on separate trips. The gyro meat is moist and flavorful, plus they give you a huge portion. I like this salad better here than Fronimos, Opa, Shish Kebab House, Ali Baba, and Fallafel King(tried them all). It is a great place to eat because your order at a counter and then they bring your food out to you. They give you cups for your drinks and there is a pepsi machine and of course ice tea and lemonade. If I want a nice big Greek Salad, this place is my top choice in Tucson.

I usually visit the foothills mall location a few times a month and have tried several different menu items. My hands down favorite is the pork platter. The pork, beef, and chicken platters are all tasty and cooked well, but the pork is the best. They grill the meat with veggies kabob style and serve it with some pita wedges and a Greek salad. Once it was extra spicy and I wish they would make it that way every time. The gyro is the standard that you get everywhere. I imagine they all buy the big premade gyro hunks from the same spot. If you’ve had gyro meat before you’ll get the same here. Same for the pita, standard issue packaged pita. The hummus is pretty good, and the spicy feta is very good. They have a sampler plate that’s nice to split if you want to try a few sides. Splitting the sampler plate and one of the platters between 2 people is a good way to go. Two items I would avoid are the chicken wings and the lemon soup(I forget the correct name). The wings were seasoned really well, seemed like the same seasoning they use on the kabobs, but they were just so charred that I couldn’t enjoy them. The soup was so over powering I left the bowl after a few spoonfuls. They have one of those awful 1000 drink machines that always make getting something to drink so frustrating. Everyone is either completely confused or overwhelmed or worse, has to play soda willie Wonka at these things. I just love standing behind 3 kids putting a splash of each drink into their water cup. On the bright side, they have brewed iced tea. Regular and mango. Hopefully it doesn’t get replaced by the crappy fake nestea or the like machines.

best Greek food I’ve ever ate. Friendly/quick staff, great value! The gyro deluxe is the right amount of food it leaves you feeling content and not over stuffed.

So, we are traveling through Tucson and normally visit the Tucson Tamale Company religiously, however we wanted to get some Greek. Don’t let the fact that this place is in a strip mall fool you! We ordered two Gyro plates and they were flavorful, fresh and juicy. The bread was soft and the sauce was thick and delicious. If ever in Tucson and you want a Gyro — go here!

It took a long time to convince my husband to come here, but I’m glad we went. Located in the Foothills Mall, it’s hard to miss it when you’re driving by. This was definitely one of those places we were like«let’s try it… what if it sucks… might as well go to Chipotle because we know it’s good». I had a coworker’s significant other bring her and I some food from here a while back, so I knew at that point it was going to be a good food experience when I went with my husband. The setup is VERY similar to Sauce, where you enter, look at the menu on the wall, and order. They will bring you the food to your table with the number, etc. One thing I seriously dislike about the register setup is that they basically ask you for a tip while you’re running the credit card on the screen. Literally, «now this next screen is where you enter a tip percentage when you sign». It’s awkward how it’s phrased, it’s awkward how it’s set up, let me put my damn tip on the receipt without you looking at me selecting a button to push with a predetermined tip amount. In a past life I was a server. This style of restaurant setup where you don’t have a true dining experience with a designated server and 1 person brings out your food but that’s it does not warrant a 20% tip in my opinion. Just a little pet peeve of mine. The food is great. The Greek salad(small size) with added chicken is perfect. Fresh, delicious, and dressed beautifully. The chicken tends to be a little on the overcooked side but they are smaller chunks of chicken and the seasoning on them is great. It’s a pretty hefty portion even with the half size salad — I couldn’t finish it even with my husband stealing bites. He enjoyed the Euro platter that comes with the rice, the salad, the euro meat, and the pita. It’s again a massive amount of food — he never finishes it. The rice is a tiny bit bland but he thinks the Euro meat is fantastic. The tzatziki sauce they make is delicious as well, nice and light and fluffy. I am excited to try an actual pita sandwich at some point when I am eating things with gluten again — they look delicious.

Really great Greek food, far surpassing expectations given the casual atmosphere and order-at-the-bar concept. The restaurant is clean and staff is friendly. Food we out quickly. Portion sizes were enormous! My favorite were the overflowing sides of tzaziki sauce served with the food. Taste was fresh and delicious. This was my first time, but it won’t be my last. Very, very good!

One of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. The woman at the counter was in the phone without greeting me for awhile. They did it know who had what in orders before me. The cook, woman didn’t catch her name, was so rude when I asked her for a food modification. She said«she was too busy». Never coming back here. Food is okay.

Pappoule’s is what you expect from a good Greek place. You’re gonna get the gyros, the Greek salads, etc. and it’s going to taste like you expect it to. They also have specials if you want to change it up from their normal menu. This is not a sit-down and order kinda place, you walk to counter, Chipotle-style, order and pay, then sit down and wait for them to bring your food to your table. I did not partake on this trip, but they do serve beer as well. This place is a winner!

My boyfriend and I tried this the other night before we were catching a movie. We hadn’t gone to Greek in a while so we’ve decided to check it out. Positive: friendly service, fast service, super clean restaurant, great location, awesome shawarma and an amazing Greek salad Changes: I feel like the prices were a little high for the amount of food that is given and this is really silly, and the part of it is pure laziness, but I wish that the kalamata olives didn’t have pits.

We come here all the time. The food is consistently good, and the quality of the food is why we keep coming back. My personal favorites are the El Grecco salad(basically a large Greek salad that includes avacado) which I add Gyro meat to. Their chicken kabobs are very flavorful and juicy as are their gyro’s. It’s very casual dining, kid friendly and can get noisy. The staff and owners are very nice people. This is my favorite nearby Greek place for a quick bite or even for take out.

After dining here a few times, I can honestly say, I’m a fan of Greek food! Love their tzatziki sauce, it’s a garlic & cucumber creation that goes great with everything! I love the chicken kabob platter which is served with a Greek salad, some pita bread, and big chunks of chicken! I love the olives in the salad and the dressing is amazing! The Gyros are also very tasty! Try the cinnamon pita bread for dessert if you’ve got room! It’s so yummy! Warm pita bread sprinkled with cinnamon and honey! Wow, my mouth is watering all over again! The baklava is just a delicious! Definitely one to satisfy your sweet tooth! We liked dining on the patio too. The servers didn’t forget us, and were very friendly! Wonderful place to eat. Great food and welcoming staff! =)

I have been here 3 times now and each time, I am not let down! This is one of the first restaurants I went to after moving to Tucson. My coworker and I had to pick up some balloons at Party City and she suggested we go to Pappoule’s for lunch. I had a Greek Salad and was quite impressed(Yay, living in Tucson is going to be delicious!) My boyfriend & I just recently moved closer to Pappuoule’s, so one day after stopping at Tmobile, I suggested we go here for lunch.(See a theme here?) This time I had the Greco(Greek salad with avocado… can’t go wrong!) and he had the Gyro Plate. We were fans. Today Erik got home from work and declared, «I want to get dinner at that Greek place by the mall!» And I wasn’t opposed. He again got the Gyro Plate and I tried the Falafel Plate. Again, we were both fans. I honestly didn’t think Pappoule’s would be anything too spectacular the first time I went, but I have been proven wrong time and time again!
