Not the best deep fried pickles… the burgers were great, but the deep fried pickle fries were overly salted and oily… The smashburger’s interior is also a little dirty and seems like it needs some TI’s on the inside to make it appear more attractive to customers.

I love Smashburger but I’ve never been so disgusted by this location. I went there yesterday with my boyfriend, was gonna go to Panera but changed my mind. so we order our food and everything looks good. I pick up the holder where they keep the ketchup, mustard, napkins and nats or some weird little bugs started crawling from underneath. But before that happened my boyfriend literally pulled a hair out of his meat patty. I said excuse to me a worker and he hopped over and seemed extremely unprofessional. He said«oh no buenoooo» lemme toss that for you. Then he comes back and says«Ahhh I just wanna kick my safe I can’t get it open for free coupons but next time you come in half off me!» And wrote our name down. I’m sorry but our order was 35 dollars, I really don’t care to come back to pay half of that after our experience, could you blame me? I work in the food industry and that would just be completely unacceptable. I believe his name is Ryan. But could be wrong. He was real loud and thought he was really funny, kept cracking jokes when we clearly weren’t having it. I have half the mind to call a health inspector to check it out. After taking a food safety class, and knowing what they look for… honestly this location should be shut down. For a lot more reasons than just customer service. First Unilocal review ever, but had to share with everyone. Go to broadway if you want smashburger in Tucson.

Service was great, friendly, and they checked up to make sure I was taken care of, etc! However, the food was lacking: I had the Arizona Smashburger which had a nice presentation when it came out. Unfortunately, what ruined it for me was the patty itself. It was overdone/overcooked ¼lb lacking much flavor or seasoning. Tried the Rosemary fries since everyone says to try it. Same story though, overcooked, over doused with oil, hard, and tasted old. Sadly, I would not recommend or be back, which is a shame since it’s pretty close-by. Hopefully if they don’t overcook or use too much oil, it should improve the food quality.

Why is everything so greesy at this location? Ordered the chicken smash and sweet potatoe fries. Was given a small order or fries too.

Cheeseburgers, pizza, mac-n-cheese: my kids never tire of these things, and I find myself continuously looking for fresher versions of these, or at least establishments that serve some decent alternative to these foods. Smashburger work for me, because my kids love their customizable burgers and old fashioned milkshakes, and I am rather fond of their harvest salad(with or without grilled chicken, depending on my mood). Kids meals are reasonably priced($ 5.49) and portioned huge, and the toppings always look and taste fresh. The fried pickles with ranch are another kiddo favorite(though a bit salty for my liking) and they are big fans if the sweet potato fries. I’ve been to several Smashburger locations, and this one seems to do a pretty good job of keeping the restaurant and restrooms clean and stocked. I’ve also had good experiences overall with the service, which is generally friendly and helpful. A pretty solid contender in the fast food burger category, and good selection of burger alternatives for those looking for something different.

The burgers here are great. I love coming here, and most of time I get the classic smash. The restaurants design is visually appealing, and the staff is well trained. The wait is a little bit longer than like McDonalds but that gives it a higher quality.

Not too shabby This is a fast food like burger place. You place your order at the front, they give you a number to put on your table, and then they bring it out to you. They have different types of burgers to choose from or you have the option to make a custom burger. I ordered the Arizona burger. It was soo delicious. I was afraid with all the habeneros and jalapeños it would be too spicy, but in reality, it was a burger with a nice kick. It was filling and very tasty! I also ordered the smash fries. They were yummy, but nothing too crazy different. I might just order regular fries next time I come. Service was very friendly and fast! Environment: 4⁄5 Food: 4⁄5 Price: 4⁄5 Service: 5⁄5

We’ve given this location more chances than usual because they have gluten-free options. Our 1st time, there was a big dead beetle on the ledge of a table. we ate and watched a guy clean the tables 3 times, but never saw or removed the gross critter. The next time they had my burger done but said they were waiting on the fries. My burger was cold, the fries were smooshy. Each time was another bad experience. I spoke with corporate who advised me to talk to the manager who would make things ‘right’ and the our patronage was appreciated. HAHAHAHA. Tonight we went in, asked for the manager. He loudly + unprofressionally advised me «these things do not happen in our store and if i knew the offending employees’ names, I might have a chance of correcting the issue. His Big Offer to keep us as patrons was to comp us 2 sodas! TWOSODAS! When i suggested a more satisfactory renumeration would be a buy one get one free offer. He said“I’m not giving away any food, sodas. that’s it. He was rude and loud, and treated us like we were looking for a hand-out! We dine out 6 times a week, have given this smashburger Numerous tries. Nope. Being a member of their little club is worthless! It would be a real challenge to find such a superior menu have so consistently inferior product and service. OFNOTE: THEYHAVE A CURRENTCOUPONFOR«BUYONE, GET50%OFFONE»!!! The manager’s actions were… costly.

In a small sample size(one visit), I had a great experience. Smashburger is a quick service burger, fry, shake spot, and they do a pretty darn good job. The Arizona burger I had was fantastic. Additionally, I had the sweet potato fries I had were tasty too(they have a variety of dipping sauces, I chose chipotle ranch). The staff was really friendly, the restaurant was clean, food was served in a timely manner, and prices were fair! They serve some bottled beers at a fair price as well. I have had some of the other burger spots around town, and this one caught me by surprise and may be favorite. I will have to come back to try their shakes!

Well I am an odd ball. I enjoyed the burger but nothing really special about it but I like the Freddys style fries :) so I would go back. So my odd complaint is the ketchup was just horrible. I don’t know if they are buying low end and tossing their label on it but just a bad aftertaste. I am the guy who puts ketchup on his ketchup so I use a lot of it. Spend the extra few pennies on a brand name is my suggestion.

I went in there maybe 10 days ago. Very, very few customers and I soon felt ignored as I sat in a booth. The staff was walking around but no attention was paid to me. Finally I asked for some help and was then informed that I had to place my order and then take my seat. I just wished someone on the staff would have informed me of this fact. I did not stay and will never visit this unit again. We have other units and I may try one of them at a later date.

Rosemary fries were different but very good. As for the burger it was good but not worth the price. I’d go back for those fries though

IMO these guys have the best fast order burger around. Better than in-n-out(2nd best), better than five guys(3rd place due to crappy buns). The meat on my burger was big and fantastic(I got the 2nd size up). Maybe a touch too much salt but otherwise perfect. Bun was great but I admit in-n-out buns are best. The fries are great too. Sweet potato option or regular. Smash style with rosemary oil or regular. Clean place, nice staff too.

This place is great if you’re looking for burgers that are tastier than In-N-Out. The regular cheeseburger is $ 4.99 and their regular gourmet burgers are $ 6.49(there’s also an option where you can pay to have a larger patty, but I personally can’t tell the difference myself). The fries are also pretty good. They’re thin, nicely seasoned, and can easily be split by two people. Overall, this is definitely a great place to go if you’d like a higher quality burger than other fast food locations. The restaurant itself is also very clean and the employees are usually very friendly — plus you can also sign up for their emails to receive free fries.

We stopped in here for a quick bite since it is so close to our new house. big mistake. we should have driven to 5 Guys or Freddys. The cashier(whos name tag notated that he was the Shift Leader) was grumpy, and acted like we were bugging him. It was 8:10PM on a Saturday. There were plenty of other people there. two burgers, two orders of fries and a shake. $ 25… I think thats expensive for a boring below average burger. The food was hot when it came, but nothing to write home about… The young guy who delivered our food was super nice. When we got up to leave, the workers were all sitting at a booth behind us, with what seemed like one of their girlfriends. The nice kid promptly got up and opened the door for us, and also checked on a table on the patio. One star for him, but not for anything else!

I really enjoy their food. Their chicken burgers are good, bigger than other fast food places. The Smash Fries are SODELICIOUS! There are no meals or combos so it can add up. The milkshakes are like $ 4, it’s definitely not cheap fast food. The Chipotle sauce is really good, too.

So impressed by the Unilocal event at the new Smashburger on 22nd that we stopped in for dinner at the Grant Road store last Saturday night. What a hot mess! Grungy tabletops, greasy smears on the seats. We had to wave someone down to properly wipe off the area. Reached for one of their signature fries and came up with a glob of grease. By the time we left, the floor was littered with trash that no one was cleaning up, even though the place was nearly empty. And I had heartburn for two days. Is it a weekend staffing issue? Just a fluke? I don’t know. But I’m not going back(to this location, at least).

Always looking to try new places(which offer veggie choices) and also offer dog-friendly al fresco dining. Smashburger filled the bill. I had the veggie bean burger(wish they offered a choice of a garden burger) with fries and a vanilla shake. The food was just OK. Nothing special. One note: I don’t think it’s a good presentation to put the fries metal basket packed beside the burger. Didn’t seem sanitary to me. My favorite for this type of restaurant is still Freddy’s. I don’t see myself returning to Smashburger any time soon.

Only been here once thus maybe I should write the review later time but since its a newer place and they do have a different approached on the food I decide do it now so people have some rough idea about the place when they come here. Depends on the types of the burgers you order. They used different kind of buns instead of «one bun fits all» like the other typical fast food places. What we had was pretty tasty and I say their burgers fell between Monkey Burger and In-and Out. So now you have a way to gauge their food. go try for yourself and have a beer or two. Side note. friend of my came here few times had mentioned the service was dicey.
