The spinach egg feta wrap at Starbucks is the best sandwich I’ve had in forever 5 outta 5 Starbucks good job!

I have been to this location many times on my way to work. Unfortunately it is the closest location for me. I’m always amazed at the complete lack of even mediocre customer service. The last time I was there(about 2 weeks ago) I ordered from the mobile app, when I got there my order wasn’t ready yet, a very simple trenta green tea. They all look like they’re having a bad day, bad life, just overall bad attitudes. I have started going out of my way to a different location on my way to work, which of course means I have to leave extra early. This location, no matter how convenient, is NOT worth the frustration. The only reason for one star is because I can’t give them anything less.

Not friendly at all! Didn’t ask the normal things you ask when you are in service like, «can I help you»… Just looks at you until you figure out she is ready for you. I would have at least appreciated a thank you for spending over $ 10 for two coffees. This used to be a good place to come, now just a bunch of unhappy, entitled people that are obviously unhappy with life.

Sad to say this place is «my starbucks», the closest to my work. This is a collective review of the 3 or more times a week I usually visit. The staff here either hates their life or their job or both! Even though you’re paying at least 6 bucks for your drink, don’t expect it to taste gourmet at all. It’s really disappointing that starbucks has gone so down hill. There is only one girl who is nice and friendly there, the rest act like you’re bothering them. I ran into one other friendly chick who even had to remake my drink for whatever reason and she restored a little hope in me. however, I’m sure she’s a borrowed partner bc she wouldn’t last long in that store before they drained the positivity out of her! Guess I’ll be traveling to the Ina store to get my fix. Sorry that those rude customers have ruined it for the rest of us who just want the delicious drink that we paid for.

Clean, straight forward Starbucks. For some reason the green tea does not taste like the ones I get in CA. I know, I know this is blasphemy for a corporate chain … I’m so sorry. I guess the problem is me, I am monotone — I just get one drink over and over.

It’s Starbucks at the end of the day. Don’t get it Twisted Sister Christian. My review is in the context of my specific experience today. I was not greeted with a smile, I feel like I had to wait longer than usual, when I asked the barista if she had a tall, skinny cappuccino on the way. She curtly said, «yep, on the way.» The staff was just very cold in general. They could’ve done better if they tried. The AM crew today did not concern themselves making good coffee or facilitating good customer experiences; paychecks and dollar signs kept them grooving. My drink was warm, wet, mildly foamy, tasted like coffee, and weak; it was not a traditional ‘cap’ though… it was more Caffè Latte in spirit(ick)…not much foam and weak-sauce espresso. In all, the drink was what I call a ‘utilitarian drink,’ it gives you caffeine and lacks substance or sophistication. To the manager: work on service, make customers feel welcomed into the space, and have your team members practice crafting coffee. By infusing creativity and heart into their work; they’ll be happier employees and people like me might consider returning.

Slower than slow today! Four people in the front. One mopping. One guy looking lost. Two other girls going back and forth getting stuff. Looked disorganized. 10 min to get a tall café Americano w steamed cream. I also didn’t have anyone in front of me. Rational? Couldn’t tell ya.

Super friendly staff! They always help remind me to use my starbucks card so I can get points to earn free drinks to further feed my starbucks addiction haha. The only downside is no drive thru but there is nothing better than walking into the smell of starbucks in the morning! Can’t go wrong with any drink! The reason I didn’t give 5 stars: this location is ALWAYS running out of the featured drinks

Not a drive-thru location, which is always disappointing. And this location is especially small inside w/only 8 small tables and limited seating. The staff was fairly nice, but the reason for the two-star rating was an epic fail on this location’s part… how the hell do you not have any dark roast brewed? And then not even offer to brew some?! WTF? I desperately needed caffeine and had already walked in, so I settled for the Pike w/a shot and 4 splenda. Let me just say, that was the worst $ 2.71 I have spent at an SBucks to date and shame on this location for not having dark roast and denying me a well-intentioned caffeine fix!

This is one of the finest Starbucks I’ve ever been to. I only order plain black coffee, so I cannot speak to the quality of all of their drinks. But, I’ve been coming here very early in the morning for the last week to work. Each morning, the staff has been extremely friendly not only to me, but consistently to everyone who comes in throughout the morning. They know several of their regular customers by name, and are always asking them specific questions about themselves, as follow-up to past conversations. As people leave, they wish them a good day. They are clearly a cheerful bunch and I appreciate how they go the extra mile. Thanks, crew!

Love the location and staff, particularly James. He’s one of the best mixologists(my preferred term) for making wonderfully delightful coffee and tea drinks. Hope this location does really well because it deserves it from my experiences there. — Steve Newcomb, Tucson, AZ

A comfortable, clean, intimate space. Always have experienced friendly staff and positive service. I’ve come here many times to study or meet up with friends to chat.(Or when giftcards were wanted to be used, since the Starbucks in Barnes and Noble at the mall does not take them). Chipotle, Subway, and Baskin Robbins are in the same strip, so catering different tastes is quite easy. Outdoor seating is set off to the side of the building and is more spacious then most Starbucks outdoor seating areas.

Will not come here again. This place is so slow and unfriendly. They have a new barista and the staff is not being supportive. I was not greeted at the register and not given my pastry after ordering. Then the barista is new and I totally understand but she doesn’t know how to make all drinks yet but the staff is not explaining anything to her and you can see she is struggling. She made my drink wrong and now have been in Starbucks for 15 waiting for my drink… and I was first in line. I’ll drive further and take my business elsewhere.

I come from New York City, which is chock full of great coffeeshops with great coffee, service, ambience. So I was kind of against Starbucks until I went to this location in the Foothills Mall shopping centre. It’s just that I want to encourage the people who work here to keep up the superlative job they do. You greet people the second they walk in the door, even if you’re with another customer at the register. As other reviews attest, you’re much nicer and overall better than other locations. The peppy young dark-haired woman with the high voice and the tall big guy with reddish hair are always so authentically(or seeming so) happy to be there. They don’t ever seem stressed, yet they move fast and help everyone through, without stressing us the customers out. They never make anyone feel bad for asking for anything. It’s a small location, but I don’t mind sitting and hanging out when I’m not rushed. There’s another Starbucks closer to me, but they routinely ignore people waiting at the register and don’t at all acknowledge anyone until they’re right at the register ordering. It’s like«Okay. It’s your turn. I see you now. You may speak. Order. Good. Now go over there. Next.» But this small crew is very cool. It’s a Starbucks, so the coffee is solid and predictable. I wish more of their stock was Rainforest Alliance approved. Still, this crew makes me feel okay about Starbucks and the staff’s goodness has had a halo effect, such that now I go to the other ones in town. Near the UofA, I still prefer to go to the local spots, but in the burbs and even at airports, I no longer feel so bad about doing Starbucks.

Shittiest green tea latte ever. It has a ton of precipitate. Every sip contains chunks of green tea powder. Asked the barista(chick with red highlights) to reshake it better. She half assed it and returned my cup to me wet. It still had unmixed chunks of powder and a thick layer at the bottom. Somebody please retrain this girl!

RE: THEIRNEWBREAKFASTSANDWICHES. I always enjoy visiting here. Very nice barristers and customers alike. Right across from where I work. I wanted to mention the new breakfast sandwiches just rolled out. There are 5 – 6 choices, on artisan bread or muffins. They sell for around $ 3.25 or so each. I tasted a sausage/Cheddar cheese one. Very fresh muffin, moist folded egg and melted cheese. Served very hot and fast, too. It does not have any condiments on it so if you like it moist, add butter or whatever goody. Gary got a bacon/Gouda one on artisan bread, very fresh bread, also with melted cheese and folded egg. They were filling and tasty but for me, don’t take the place of a fresh-cooked egg. Might be a little rich at the price because there are cheaper options for this type of breakfast sandwich out there, but it’s well prepared, nice quality, and a good option when on the run and needing protein.

My sister frequented this Starbucks location more than I did while we were living in Tucson, but here’s what *I* have to say: It’s clean, the employees were friendly(except one who laughed at my Visa Card picture, but maybe I deserved it – I had my picture on my credit card), the deserts they had the last time I went in were delicious(okay, I didn’t try everything, but the chocolate cupcake was good), and they made my Caramel Light Frappacino perfectly(because I like my drinks light and my sweets packed full of awfulness and sugar – I’m full of contradictions like that). When my sister went, she said they had her and her ex-boyfriend’s order down to a «T,» which I thought was kind of cool. Otherwise, it’s a decent, typical Starbucks. Nothing awful, nothing exceptionally noteworthy… yet, here I am… making a note. Ha.
