Not the best Starbucks. They seem rushed even when there is not many people. As usual this time of year at all Starbucks they are out of the ingredients for the special holiday drinks, but they do not make a note on the board or on the drive thru, so you have to go through the order and«sorry out» a couple of times to get an order in. And unlike other Starbucks they do not make an attempt to offer suggestions, cut the price, or substitute a similar ingredient, they just leave you hanging with minimal apologies. There is indoor and outdoor seating that his facing a busy street. The location is convenient to some shopping, ie Trader Joes and Bookmans, but not a great location to just take it easy. If you come here it is only, obviously, to get your chain coffee drink and to move on. If you have a minute or two drive a couple miles east to the Speedway and Pantano store or to Broadway and Kolb for the recently remodeled store.

We came here tonight for ½ price Frapps. The guy who took our order seemed nice & knowledgeable. However, the poor guy with Red hair looked like a deer caught in the head lights. Don’t know if he was new, but nobody was helping him at all & it took him about 10 mins to make one frapp. If I were in a hurry & needed to get to work I would’ve been livid! But that was very unprofessional of his co-workers to leave him hangin!

I go here a lot because it is so close to my house and right next to Trader Joe’s which I frequent but every time it is so crowded — with a line around the building for the drive thru and a line inside as well. The parking situation is terrible. You basically can’t get to their parking because of the long drive thru lines so I park in the main parking lot but you have to walk across the drive thru line to get into the store(they’ve now put fencing up so you have to walk around). At least half the time I am in there they either completely forget to make my drink or make me a frappuchino instead of a latte(seriously why has this happened on more than one occasion? Latte sounds nothing like frappuchino). *Sigh* but i’ll still keep coming here because #imlazy and a #coffeeaddict. Positive notes? The coffee is good when I get it, sometimes I get a free drink out of them messing up my order because otherwise they just throw it away and they offer my pup a free puppuccino usually!

Very very cool and nice service, my friend and I love this place because it is close my business and they are very friendly when we stopped by order to pick up.

Let’s be honest — Starbucks Coffee, is Starbucks Coffee — that’s why we like it. It is standardized; no matter where you go, it’s the same brand and pretty much the same product. I am your typical Grande Caramel Macchiato extra hot no-foam latte girl, and this place never fails to give me that inspiring jolt of caffeine infused inspiration. What makes this place stand out to me in comparison to the other Starbucks in the area: The staff. I have spent a considerable amount of time studying here, during which I have witnessed the kindness of the staff on so many occasions. They truly are great, and manage to get their work done without being jerks… even when the place is so busy there is a line out the door… Brava. :) Keep smiling! :)

Unfortunately the worst customer service… drive thru closed, no breakfast sandwiches ready(all frozen) even though they were displayed in the case but no sign mentioning they weren’t available till 9am. Btw, I waited in the long line a second time for this breakfast which I couldn’t get! Keep in mind there were 6 – 7 employees walking around. On top of all that, the hostess was unpleasant(like she hated being there) and the coffee was bitter(which is hard to do with a PSL). The line was exceptionally long due to the drive thru being closed, which remained closed for at least an hour. Errrrr not a nice way to start the day! not worthy of even 1 star today

Come here all the time, but this location has been upsetting me lately. Took a few bad experiences for me to write a review. A couple times they ran out of white mocha. But lately, they have been charging me extra for peppermint in my white mochas. You see, I could understand this but I subtract two white mocha shots each time so it should be the same price. Not to mention I pay extra for coconut milk(which I understand) but this makes my drink very expensive. Another thing, today I wanted a panini and they literally had zero paninis at 1pm on a Sunday. They seem to run out of things a lot, so I can understand because it’s busy but it happens too often so I feel like they should have more stock. So instead of a panini, I ordered a bacon/Gouda sandwich(which they tend to run out of, so I was happy they had it), however this is what made me write my review; the sand which was over heated and the bacon was brown and way over cooked and so was the bread. A waste of calories. So I overpayed for a drink, didn’t get the panini I wanted, and settled for a burnt breakfast sandwich instead. I come here often, I use the app and am a loyal customer. I just feel the need to tell the managers of this location about my recent experience.

Overall, friendly people and of course my drink was great. I would have given them a 4 star rating, however the drink/dining area was dirty. The tables needed to be wiped off and the floor swept. It wasn’t as clean as some of the other Starbucks, but the friendly people made the visit worthwhile.

Horrible, I was told what I said, which is not at all what I said, then get to the window to be belittled by Theodore. I’ve gone here everyday for the past 3 weeks and have ordered the same drink, and was never treated or talked down to like I was today. Never again. Goodbye Starbucks

There are a few reviews that negatively characterize the staff here, but in my experience the staff here is one of the most charismatic and energetic units in Tucson. However, this location is insanely busy and the staff seems to be under constant pressure to move as quickly as possible, which causes mistakes. This is more of a location issue — I think that if there were another location maybe a half mile down the road the service may improve greatly. I have been here many times over the past year — on one occasion the staff forgot my order and I had to ask them again to bring it out. The thing is– the line was so long that it extended out of the door, so it is tough to be too angry about it. If you’re craving Starbucks, just go here. And if the line is ridiculous, the nice thing to do is tip the staff for having to deal with it, instead of getting angry at the inevitable mistakes.

The service was awesome and fast! Everyone was nice and greeted us. My card wasn’t working and they made sure I was still taken care. When you need coffee the last thing you need is delay. And they were awesome!

The staff at this location is loud and annoying. They are always so busy talking to each other instead of paying attention to what the customer orders. The staff at Ina and Oracle is the exact opposite. They are polite, quiet, and always get the orders right.

This is my favorite location by far! There is almost never a wait or a line inside. The drive through is another story. But come on people save the planet and get out of your car for 5 mins! The employees at this location are on top of it! One time I was here I had an issue with a rocky table and a lid that was not on very well and it ended in my toddler being covered in my coffee. Much to her dismay in her brand new outfit. She freaked out I freaked out making sure she was ok(the coffee was hot) she was fine and much more concerned about her new mini mouse shirt than herself. I took her in the restroom as 3 different employees came and asked if she was ok. By the time I got her washed off in the bathroom and back to the lobby they had cleaned up the mess, to include my cell phone. They had remade my drink and set it on the table with another cake pop for my daughter. They went above and beyond to make one hell of a morning as efficient and good as possible. I did not say anything to them about how anything happened just went in mom mode to fix the issue with out complaint as moms do. I was not going to complain, I was actually going to buy another coffee. But I didn’t have to. I love that this location is so close to work. I make sure to visit this location over any other.

The people that work here are nice. They are friendly and smile frequently. But 80% of the time they get my order wrong!!! I do not use the drive thru either. I always walk in. I think that some of them are stressed out from the volume of customers. Relax dudes, it’s only coffee! I don’t mind a little wait! I won’t return here. Been here a lot and It’s not worth it anymore. Pantano/Speedway is a good one as well as Broadway/Craycroft. Bummer.

I’ll stop in a few times a week, when I can’t make it to Black Crown on Speedway and Alvernon. Never had a bad experience, in so often, a few of the baristas know me by name now, which is nice. The main thing that keeps me coming back is the customer service and location. Can’t beat a block and a half walk for some espresso… Unless you lived in the parking lot… Heh. Good job guys. I’ll see yah soon.

This is the slowest drive thru Starbucks in Tucson avoid it if you can it’s not just that there’s a long line of cars whoever is running the drive-thru seems to not be in a big hurry to take care of the customers

I’m reading some of these reviews and I guess I came here on a good day or something because I had nothing but good service. I came here a bit ago for my date, and I asked if I could wait a little while until he showed up, and they said it was fine.(Most places make you pay for something in order to just stand in their location.) After waiting, and he showed up, we immediately ordered our drinks and something to snack on. They lady at the register was nothing but nice, and sweet. Our drinks were not messed up and we only waited about 8 minutes, it was a but busy, so maybe about 10 minutes. And this is such a convenient location since it is right close to where I work.

15+ minutes for a drip coffee?!? Visited today and ordered a drip coffee and a small americano. It probably took 10 minutes for the americano to arrive… And in the meantime, folks who ordered AFTER me were being served frozen drinks, smoothies, and who knows what else. Meanwhile, I could see the lonely cup for my americano sitting there in the barista queue, with lots of more exotic, more complex drinks just rolling right past it — probably enough to lower its self esteem a few notches. It must have felt really neglected — especially since it is the simplest drink minus an espresso that you can possibly order from a barista. Update: Just stopped back in here(same day) and ordered a decaf drip coffee. They didn’t have any brewed and needed to do a «pour over» — essentially a custom one cup brew of coffee. This is pretty standard in the afternoon at Starbucks with decaf coffee. Usually this takes 5 minutes or so. However 15 minutes later I was still waiting for my coffee. Basically I think they just forgot about it. Very light crowd so no real excuse. So, two visits, two extremely episodes of slow service. To me, that’s a trend. One star.

I have always been astonished at how friendly Starbucks employees are. No matter what time of day, what I order, they are always chipper and energetic. I thought that these traits were required to work at Starbucks(unless you are in NYC, of course). I came here at about 5:30 am the other day. This is not my usual Starbucks but I was in that area and needed coffee. The employees that I encountered seemed to be angry that I would dare to stop by for coffee and a bagel. In fact, only when the gentleman gave me my coffee and I didn’t drive away did he remember that I had ordered a bagel. He then shouted to someone in the main-area that he needed a bagel, thus making my wait way longer than if he had put in the order when I ordered it. I got no napkins with my bagel. Perhaps I just came in on the wrong morning.
