I decided to get off the couch and write this much-needed review so someone else doesn’t go through the hell that my husband and I just experienced. First of all, we decided to try another cellular carrier after Verizon decided to get rid of their unlimited data plan and hike up the cost of their service. We went to this kiosk and first we stupidly thought they were soley T-Mobile and not owned by someone else selling T-Mobile products. They gave us a great deal and told me I would only pay $ 120.00 a month for everything unlimited for both our lines. The guy also told us he ported our numbers over in which he never did. When we got home we realized we had new numbers. Not a big deal yet, but now comes the fun. Day #1, I arrive at the hospital, only to find that I get absolutely no service inside the hospital. I had a lot of important calls from other Docs and consults go to voicemail. Day #2, don’t even try T-Mobile in the Northwest area, it just doesn’t work. Then when I finally get service, all my calls drop. I had two whole weeks of dropped calls and no service in the hospital. My husband convinced me to give it a little longer. I then called T-Mobile on the 14th day and said I wanted to return the phones, the service does not work where I need it. The man gives me an attitude a mile long, and then proceeds to tell me I have 20 days. I thought o.k., I will take them back in a couple of days since I still have time and in the interim, let me add, I received a bill for 2x the amount that I was quoted. My husband and I meet after work and go back to the kiosk, I tell him the truth, that the service never works and all my calls are dropped. The man looks at the note in the computer from the phone operater who states that my expectations are way too high. He then proceeds to state he needs to call T-Mobile and ask permission to return my phones. After several minutes on the phone, he returns to say he cannot take my phones back. I reiterated that T-Mobile said I had 20 days and that they could be returned. He stated that the man was wrong and most likely thought I lived in California. I stated that since I was told that, they should honor what was said. Well, needless to say I’m still stuck with these phones and last night my husband and I decided to go down to Sprint and get new phones. What a difference in both customer service and cellular service. As a wise woman said in her review of T-Mobile on the internet«that termination fee was the BEST money I ever spent.»
