Real good phở for the mall. They were very nice to let me take it out into the mall. The size was fine and I’d come back again.

I am a Phở snob. I have my favorites and I know what type of taste I like so it is hard to impress me, especially a new place that I have not tried. And now I find myself at the only Phở place at Southcenter mall with a lot of doubts. Mall phở? No way. Ordered my standard P1 or whatever the beef/steak phở is and an order of the crisp Vietnamese eggrolls. I get this at every phở place everywhere so I can accurately compare. Phở came first and had a surprisingly distinct flavor. I really liked it! Only problem was the noodles were a little firm compared to other phở I’ve had. May have been undercooked. Eggrolls took a long time to come out but when they did they were nice and hot and crispy. Taste was great as well rivaling the egg rolls at Phở Cyclo. Despite the undercooked noodles, I’d recommend Phở Café to others. Mall phở? Who would have ever believed it.

The beef phở here is super delicious! The soup is really good. Didn’t expect to have such tasty phở in shopping mall! Worth trying~

Both times I have been here the food was great, it’s nice in the food court that they have a sit down restaurant.

Definitely not worth your money… Large portion was closer to medium compared with other phở restaurants… Also to have my own combo with 3 meats, the entire bowl added up to be nearly $ 11… FOR A BOWLYOUKIDDINGME? The spring rolls were okay. Nothing special but I think the prices were severely inflated for a bowl of phở(2 – 3 dollars more than your typical restaurant). I understand it’s the mall so prices are inflated but come on, I think with the money my mom and I spent we can go somewhere else with same price and higher satisfaction

Way too slow. The guy said ten minutes and it took 25 minutes at this point. They’re obviously super understaffed and not prepared for the holidays. The ladies in front of me had a long wait too and seemed really pissed. Let’s hope my food is good. The guy also charged my card twice because the first one didn’t go through for some reason? Here’s to hoping it doesn’t charge my account twice. Definitely not coming back unless I have to.

My husband & I were here on 10÷24÷15 around 3:30, we ordered an avocado smoothie and two bowls of noddles. Everything was all fine until we left the café. I was still taking my time enjoying the rest of my smoothie, then I felt something tingling in my mouth, I carefully got it out, it’s a piece hair about one inch long. I have long hair, my husband has no hair … I look into the smoothie, I saw at least two more pieces short hair. OMG, my stomach turned and felt disgusted! At this point, we had already left the mall… I hope this café will see this review and be more careful when comes to making food/drink for anyone !!!

I’m not a fan of cilantro, so I don’t eat phở.(Every now and then I’ll eat cilantro to see if my opinion changes). I ordered the curry, and it was disappointing. There were plenty of vegetables in it, which I liked. But it was watery and bland. I’m guessing that they didn’t cook it long enough for the flavors to develop, nor used a thickening agent. I had to scrap my spoon to the very bottom to get any flavor. My Dad had a sandwich and enjoyed it. I had a bite and wished I had ordered that instead, even though there was cilantro in it.

I absolutely love this place and come in almost once a week with my boyfriend. Awesome phở and the staff always knows what we want. We tried to go in 30 minutes before they closed and turned us down, because«they are almost closed» that is not okay. I work in the restaurant industry and that is not how you treat your customers of you want to close 30 min prior then maybe you should change your closing times.(which you can’t because you close when the mall closes!) so maybe you should move out of the mall lol.

I have often dined at the Northgate location, which offers much better services and quality of food. On Friday, I stopped by and ordered green papaya salad. The server would not stop by my table to refill water unless I waved very obviously. When food came, it came without a piece napkin(no napkin on the table). I cannot believe both stores are likely under same management.

$ 13.09 for a seafood phở? There was only 2 shrimps in the small bowl. I really can’t remember what else was in that bowl, all I remember was I was still hungry after paying for something that I could have gotten for half the price EVERYWHERE else.

It’s a phở restaurant in a mall food court. Sound pretty good to you? Well, it’s not. They don’t really mess up the phở here; it’s just very plain and appears to exist for the sake of having phở here in this mall. Better options exist elsewhere, but if you’re not elsewhere, then that might be the only case in which trying out this place would be worth it. The main problem is that the large bowl still isn’t very large, and $ 8.95 is kind of an inflated price compared to what you might find at other restaurants. Service is fast but portions are so pitifully small that I was still left hungry. And that feeling of putting those wooden chopsticks in your mouth after they’ve absorbed the broth is utter torture. I’d go somewhere else for food.

Decided to try Phở at the mall. The place is clean and well lit. I went with the large phở with brisket. Ironically The pricing of large vs small pretty much means going for the large for .50 more. The soup– broth was a little salty and I wouldn’t put it in my top 5 of Phở places sadly. I felt like the meat portion was on the small side and a bit tough. The side sprouts were fine but I was only offered one sliver of jalapeño. And one weak sprig of basil I will probably stick to Sakura in the mall and teriyaki vs returning

What to eat in South Center Mall? This is one of the sit-down place in the food court. The phos are very standard quality and I would definitely go back for it. I do like the services. The waiting staff were attentive and helpful.

This place was a bit of a disappointment. My friends and I wanted to come here since we were already planning to be at the mall and we thought we’d eat here since we were pretty much all craving for some Vietnamese food. The turn off was instant with one of the waitresses. She didn’t greet us and almost seemed as if she was rushing us through our orders. She just gave off a bad vibe – maybe she had a bad day so I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt, but still she kind of made the experience worse. Plus, the other guy that helped us wasn’t better either. We asked for napkins since they didn’t give us any before we ate and he only brought us 3 and there were 5 of us… For me, it probably would’ve been better if my food was good but my noodles in my phở were still in a brick form and the soup wasn’t hot enough to loosen them up. I should’ve got a vermicelli bowl(two of my friends did and they looked really good). Maybe ‘ll give this place another shot, but probably not any time soon.

I didn’t think I ever dine here. I’ve been to Southcenter mall multiple times and always pass by Café Phở never thinking I would eat here. Always been skeptical about going to a food court vietnamese restaurant due to the reputations of mall food. Was here early for a movie showing so decided to find a place to sit down and munch on some appetizers. Was definitely craving some vietnamese cuisine as my girlfriend and I immediately finding ourselves seated at Café Phở. We ordered the Sweet & Sour Fried Chicken and Fried Tofu. The friend chicken was good. Great flavors and was fried just right. Was still juicy and succulent. The fried tofu however, could have used a few more minutes. It was served along side a small salad tossed in a ranch kind of dressing and some pickled vegetables. It wasn’t for my palette. Service was subpar. Servers likes to sit down when they have nothing to do. In my opinion, there is always something to do. They also have bar seatings with multiple tv’s. Really like the atmosphere. I hear a lot of good things about their vietnamese sandwich. Will have to come here when not rushing for time to catch a movie.

Desperate cravings call for desperate measures. One of my favorite foods of all time is phở. I come here often simply because there’s nothing else within walking distance when I’m at SouthCenter Mall. The phở ga broth isn’t made with love and lacks an authentic chicken taste. However it hits the spot on a cold rainy day. Phở deserves two stars. But the great, quick, friendly service deserves an additional 2 stars. Also much nicer than most phở places. Tv and partially stocked bar here!

I was a little hesitant about phở in a mall food court, but it was surprisingly good! My friends and I were exhausted from a night of festivities and needed the miracle broth. I got the special phở(all sorts of meats) and this place gives you a lot of meat. The broth was also very flavorful and not super fatty/oily. I like this place because their bowls were big and allows you to mix things around(a lot of places have small bowls and fill it to the brim). Service was also really good, they were attentive and quick. I’m sure I’ll be back in the near future.

Phở is my addiction, especially when I’m starting to feel under the weather. This is the only place I eat when visiting/working at Southcenter Mall because I can expect a full belly. Food: the Bahn Mi sandwich is crunchy, full of flavor and just enough spice. But if your watching your gluten intake, think twice; its a thick roll. The fresh spring rolls are great to split, they make them big so I usually take some home. YUM I always get a small bowl of Brisket and steak Phở. Some days its out of this world, rich, hearty and generous meat portions. But this last time the broth was rather cloudy and it could have used more meat. I always add chili sauce to the point of burning lips. Service: I always sit at the bar, I’ve never had to wait for a seat, and the food comes out fast. Ambiance: tv is always turned to sports, but nearly no one dining paying attention. I give this three stars because it fills my craving for Phở, but the Phở itself could taste better.

Let me first start off by addressing the price of a small bowl of vegatarian phở. Nearly $ 9. Extremely high for a little portion of phở that didn’t include meat OR tofu. They wanted to charge extra for tofu. I’ve never had that happen at any other phở joint. I was literally treated like a number. I had to initiate placing my order and was handed a receipt with a number on it. The only verbal contact given to me: «you number 58.» When I, or-my number, was called I picked up my order and began to dine. The food was ready in about 10 minutes. The noodles and vegetables were overcooked, somewhat colorless and soggy. That tells me that they have pre made soup sitting around until it’s ordered. I like my veggies crisp with the flavors lightly brought out without being boiled into lifeless mush, and my phở noodles strong enough to hold onto chopsticks. The portion was smaller than the typical small bowl of phở. The garnish was scarce and the plumb sauce had sriracha sauce pre mixed in it. No jalapeños. The highlight of the phở was the broth’s flavor. It was not the Best phở broth, but it was flavorful and yummy, though a bit on the sweet side. It was, however, not hot in temperature, which is a surprise being the contents were so over cooked. I will never come back.
