The food is good and tastes fresh. Spring rolls were very tasty you with the peanut butter sauce. Pot stickers where nothing special taste the same as everywhere else. It was a good lunch overall. The salad was tasty and had a good amount of dressing over-the-top.

Yummy in my tummy! Excellent Phở soup. The lady owner is welcoming. And the servers are friendly. Diverse atmosphere.

Nicest staff ever. The food was pretty good as well. Portions were large and was authentic Vietnamese. If you want to grab some fast Vietnamese food that isn’t going to break your budget, this is your place.

This is an average phở place, in terms of cleanliness, food quality, service, etc. Vietnamese iced coffee is pretty great though.

i tried it again and still didn’t think it was great. just standard place for phở. quick in and out, not much fixings and the broth was just okay. the place was pretty busy, but i’m not sure what else is in the area. it’s probably a quick stop for people and it has a big parking area in front of it

Definitely one of my go-to spots when I’m in the South Center area! It’s just good quick Vietnamese food! Reliable, fast and always good! It’s sort of a hidden hole-in-the-wall gem in the strip mall near Half Price Books. Nothing super fancy, this place is exactly what you want on a regular weeknight kind of drop in dinner place! A wide array of Phở, noodles, banh mi sandwiches, etc. Lots of options! Everything I’ve tried here has been fresh and very flavorful! Dine in: my favorites have been the Seafood Phở– but the vegetarian phở is really good too! Take out: Our family favs are the banh mi sandwiches and fresh rolls! The banh mi’s are so savory and delightful! The perfect mix of meat and veggies inside a super soft French baguette! Hmmmm, I want one just thinking about the sandwich now! Both dine in or take out: bubble tea! The restaurant is well designed and seems to be very busy for both groups: dine in and take out. Very friendly staff and quick service– great! Exactly what I’m looking for when I’m running errands or out shopping in the area! Every time we go we see someone ordering fried rice– so it seems quite popular, and there’s definitely an extensive selection on the menu. Adding it to my list to try next time!

I’ve only been here twice and I’ve only had phở each time. The first visit was a large bowl of brisket, meatballs, and flank, and the second time was a small bowl of brisket and meatballs, with a side order of two deep-fried spring rolls. It’s the usual. It doesn’t stand out from any other place I’ve been. The portions are good and it’s cheap. They are open until 10pm most nights. 9pm on Sunday’s. The place is clean and the service is friendly and attentive.

I loved my vegetarian phở, with no tofu. It was excellent and I will be back for more. But the waitress was very rude. I would have given this place five stars but she really ruined the experience, although the lady at the cash register makes it better being so smiley and happy. Coming from a job where customer service is our number 1 priority, the waitresses need some work but food wise it’s 5 stars.

This is a fairly solid place with decent Vietnamese food. I have been to other, much better places food-wise, but this place has good hours and a really friendly staff. I love the tofu noodle bowl, which is humungous and quite tasty. My boyfriend likes the steak phở, although I am not a big fan of the broth myself. Prices are reasonable and there is a ton of seating. I know we will be back to this place because we have already been several times already.

My wife and I come here because it’s never really crowded. The food comes out pretty quick. Phở is hit and miss though. Some days it tastes better than other days. Been to other phở tai restaurants, this one seems the best out of the others in terms of service. Check out the photos for the menu.

Review for their sandwiches. Ordered tofu sandwich, it took a little bit longer to come out… THEBESTSANDWICHEVER. Thoroughly toasted, good serving amount of everything inside. Jalapeño, tofu, sauce, daikon, carrot… AMAZING. This place has the best, take it from me.

I’ve been coming here on and off for 5 years, and food is always good, service is what you would expect from a phở restaurant. We came on a Sunday afternoon, and the place was almost full. Probably a handful of open tables left. For the most part, it’s self seating, or if you’re uncomfortable self seating, just stand there and they will tell you to have a seat. Menus were brought over promptly, followed by water. You have about 2 minutes to look over the menu before the waitress came back and asked if we’re ready to order. Just a FYI, this is VERY typical, you go have phở to be in and out, don’t expect 5 star service. I glanced over the menu and was glad to see they still have the crunchy & fatty brisket on the menu! Not a lot of places have this! They also have a kids menu that includes a kid sized beef phở or a chicken teriyaki dish plush a soda for under $ 6. Food is good, noodles are perfectly cooked, not too soft & powdery or way too chewy. Broth was a little saltier than usual today, but by most people’s standards, this just means lightly salted. It wasn’t so much sweet as it was salty. Eggrolls are good sized, but spring rolls are a bit on the smaller side. I could probably finish in 4 bites. They also sell them by per piece, not order. My son and I left with our tummies warm & happy! Our check came to $ 22 after tax & tip for one small bowl, one kids bowl, 2 spring roll &1 eggroll. Not too bad. They are actually one of the decently priced places in the area!

I come here pretty often. I like that it’s not in the Eastside so prices don’t have that special mark up. For a party of two, a couple of bowls of phở will run you about $ 16 — $ 17 after tax. I’m a little surprised by the complaints about poor service. I’ve had no major complaints but I think I may know who others reviewers are complaining about. I had the«good fortune» of getting one of those evil eyes when I asked for water for the table. However, for as many times as I have dined here, that was a really minor blip. The owner is very friendly. She always smiles and says hi to us, and asks us how we are doing. The phở here is yummmm. A large bowl is just about $ 8 and you get a hefty serving of both noodles and meat. The broth is also really, really, ridiculously flavorful. Sometimes I feel bad drinking a lot because I know they dropped a sodium bomb in it. But it’s soooooo good. EDIT10÷6÷15: After having been to a couple of phở spots in Bellevue, I have to say that I am becoming more disappointed with the amount of meat you get here. If I really think about it, the reason I stick with a meatball phở here is because it’s the most filling. I can be satisfied with a steak and brisket phở in Bellevue but I wouldn’t order that at Phở Tai because the meat to noodle ratio is not even, and it’s not close. The pork banh mi is delicious here. The first time my brother-in-law tried it, he was floored. About half way through the sandwich he said, «This sandwich is awesome. I’m so happy right now.» Haha you had to be there! The chicken is also really good. You can’t go wrong either way.

No. No no. Looks like a typical phở place, nothing special. I ordered the chicken phở and when it came it looked delicious! When I tasted it that we a complete different story. It had such a strange taste, I just couldn’t even take another bite. I have eaten at a ton of different phở places and I know what the broth usually tastes like. Bottom line, I think they use some different recipe or ingredients and I didn’t like it period! Won’t be coming back here.

Worst service ever. We had a group of 5, and the service was TERRIBLE. I understand that if you’re the only waitress working and there are 5+ tables, then you can be stressed and not as good service wise, but this was BAD. — waitress started collecting our menus(grabbing from our hands) before we were done looking at it /ordering. — she didn’t smile once. Always giving us dirty looks, as one reviewer said, for no reason. — MOSTWORSTTHINGISTHATSHESAIDTHEREWASNOMORETAPIOCALEFT. But guess what? A couple came in after us and got their boba before us WITH tapioca. — we asked for our bill 3 times before my aunt decided to just go up there — TONSOFHIDDENCHARGES. BUYERBEWARE!!! Review on food: — the phở broth had no flavor — the meat balls were tough, old, and tastes of freezer burn — tough steak — soft tendon though! So that’s good. Bottom line: not good phở place service or taste wise

Terrible experience at this place. Every single spoon at the table was dirty. The waitress was very rude for no reason. The food was your average vietnamese in the area but def not worth the hostile environment! After the meal, I forgot my cell phone at the table and went to the bathroom. When I came out, the table was cleared but no one stopped me on my way out. When I went back the waitress gave me a bitchy look before handing over my phone. Just horrible.

This is not bad for Vietnamese food, especially when the other restaurants are way too crowded and you’re hungry. I had the vermicelli bowl and I wish they had more variety in options for the type of items to go on top, though I’m sure you could customize it but have to pay more. They put way too many bean sprouts in in though so that was kind of a downer. I also wanted to order their durian shake but of course they said they didn’ have any. I’ve had their phở there before and it was decent. I did enjoy their beef carrot stew dish especially with the french baguette I picked to eat it with. I would go back here if it is convenient but this isn’t my first pick for Vietnamese food.

Stuck between giving this place a 3 or 4. I came down by myself to cure a hangover before work, so it was close by! I’ve never been here but I always knew it was here. I’m surprised at everyone’s reviews! Maybe they have new owners? I had great service here! The older woman was very welcoming. The place is very clean and I can smell the sanitizer they used to wipe the tables and chairs. It even looks like they took the time to wipe down the sauce bottles at all the tables! The food came out super fast, I waited less than 5 minutes. The veggies were pretty fresh. There are wooden disposable chopsticks next to the regular plastic ones? Not sure what it’s more. For kids. Preference… Germophobes? Idk but it’s kinda nice. The small bowl had a lot more noodles than I expected. The broth isn’t overbearingly salty like many other phở places. Could be a good and bad thing; less MSG, mineral tasting, but also makes the noodles taste bland(maybe I just have a problem with the noodles idk). The meat here is gooood. Best brisket I’ve had at any other phở place. I wouldn’t go out of my way, but I wouldn’t mind coming here in the future.

It’s ok, no more no less. It’s a slightly cheaper option then close by What the Phở, which led me to have lunch here. A nice option is they actually serve Café Sua with a french press, which I know… sounds crazy not to but it happens in this area. At LEAST a three star for this and a pretty accommodating male server. Got my usual, phở gau, no noodles and couldn’t complain about the taste if I tried to think of something. It’s worth a lunch visit in this area.
