They need to change the sign. This place is now a Happy Cow; Hot Pot Restaurant and Bar. Have to say that it was delicious. Wait stay was very friendly, attentive and helpful. Food was nicely served and look fresh. We’ll see in a few hours. Lol. Nonetheless give it a try if your really hungry and have a little extra time. yummy!

The service here was atrocious. The waiter sat us down to a table that had a bunch of liquid on it. When we asked for help to clean it, it took him about ten minutes to clean it up, and when he did he only cleaned the wet spot, not the rest of the table. Obviously, it was never cleaned after the last people were there. That’s super gross. Also, it took about a half hour for us to get our bowls of phở, which is the longest I’ve ever waited. We had no napkins on the table, so we had to ask for that too. Finally, he gave us a bill for a vastly different amount that we needed to have him correct. He knew right away it was wrong, before I even said anything, which made me wonder about the credibility of the place.

Horrible service… gave us our Phở with no spoon or basil/bean sprouts and did I forget to mention to no water either. They cater to everyone else but asains. Don’t bother and waste your time.

The food here is very«americanized» to me. I mean, I eat a lot of Vietnamese food(especially since my significant other is Viet) and this is not at all in any way authentic. I mean the atmosphere is nice, there’s a bar here which is rare to see in Vietnamese restaurants, but other than that it just was not good to me. First time there, I ordered just a bowl of phở. It was very watered down… not really good at all. I mean soup is soup, but when you eat as much phở as I have, you start to really notice the difference. I tried again on a different visit, and instead of getting phở, I got a Viet sandwich, which had stale bread, and then they gave me the fries on the sides, and their fries(forgot what kind they are but they’re not regular) left a bad taste in my mouth. I mean maybe people like those kind of fries, but I don’t lol. On top of that, you can get way better prices for bowls of soup at so many other restaurants nearby. It was just… okay.

It’s been a while since I went back, and sadly nothing has improved. The food was a mediocre mess for both dishes we got. Sadly the service also has declined, with 3 items we ordered being forgotten.

My very first visit here was about 3 years ago. I was in the area shopping and wanted to try a new establishment. It wasn’t a good visit. Not only was my phở expensive, I had a clump of hair in it. When I showed it to the waitress. She had to get approval from manager to replace my meal. At the end, it was still on my bill! It was a hassle but it was finally removed! I’m in the food industry and I know no place or person is perfect. We all have mistakes. My coworkers love this place so I decided to give them a second chance. Today was my second visit in the last 3 months. I am really wanting it to be a good visit but it wasn’t. The food is overpriced for an ok taste. The phở is pretty bland. However they do offer a great combo price. A small phở, spring/eggroll and drink for $ 9.99(can’t beat it) I ordered the Bun(noodle salad) this time since I’m not a fan of the phở here. The salad was just ok . The service needs a lot of help, besides the young man there. He is very good and goes out of his way to make your visit — good one. The problem is he was busy running around doing too many things. We had to flag down someone every time we needed something(there was only 3 tables full of patrons) Both restrooms were not working today. My last visit was 1.5 months ago and the women’s restroom wasn’t working. I gave 2 stars because of the great customer service received from the male hostess/waiter and their lunch combo deal.

Used to come here often. Recently, I went in for my usual Veggie Phở for lunch. I had come to accept that quality was mediocre, but they were usually quick and transactions had always been rather seamless. It’s easy to become a regular somewhere when you know exactly what to expect when you go in. Not anymore. When the bill came, I put my cash in the folder and waited. The waiter shortchanged me but brought a portion of what was owed back. When I pointed out that some of my change was missing, the waiter nodded without saying a word and brought back the exact amount of change I had been missing. Clearly he had been trying to steal his«tip» from me. Had everything gone smoothly, he probably would have ended up with a tip as much as he had taken but blatantly trying to rob me when I was paying for an order? No way. Looks like I’ll be finding a new Phở place to frequent for lunch.

The restaurant looks nice. That’s the only thing what’s good about this place. There was something floating in my water which was pretty gross. Servers didn’t care how we were doing. Things were way over priced and they didn’t even taste that good. I will not go back.

The inside of the restaurant is great! BUT are you willing to overpay for a mediocre bowl of phở and sandwich? I’m not a big fan of the food here and I think the majority of the reviews can back me up on that. I recommend going to any other phở restaurant in the area.

I’m Vietnamese, I was born in Vietnam and I had experience about Phở for at least 14 years until I came to the U.S. Of course, I know what can make Phở delicious! And what I feel about this restaurant is HORRIBLE!!! Before I decide to visit this place, a friend of my uncle(he’s also a Vietnamese) said this place is a waste of time and exactly like its name. What. The. Phở. However, it was a cold and rainy day. I and my friend both were so hungry, so we didn’t care much and decided to come there(I know there are some restaurants around that we could come but I want something HOT to warm my stomach.) First, the decoration in the restaurant was decent. I was so excited because this place was more beautiful than other Phở restaurants. We sat down and I called a small Phở bo vien aka Phở with beef balls. My friend called a rice plates with grilled pork and egg. While we were waiting, I went to bathroom. Honestly, what I saw made me scary. A punch of toilet papers on the floor. A black spider on the wall, and the wall was red. The light is blur and what I can say is it’s hella dirty. It was also smell very bad. I quickly got out and back to my friend. The food was not served. We had to wait for 3 or more minutes. The food came out was cold and tasteless. My Phở made me disappointed. The soup was bland and not warm enough. The noodles were stick together like a ball. I thought they just put it in my soup as where it should be but it doesn’t contribute to the food that makes the food is more tasty. The rice plates that my friend called was not better than my Phở. The grilled Pork was cut into pieces; they were thick and I could smell the pork(I mean when you cook or grill the pork, you have to use lemongrass or some seasonings to reduce the stink of the meat. If you don’t, then it can make you vomiting.) We couldn’t finish the food. And while we were eating, the girl waitress had rushed us 4 or 5 times to finish our food and paid off. Plus, the price was higher but the food was worse than other places. As common sense, we gave them tips and left. My friend was angry and I was unhappy. We were still hungry and I even felt sick. I will never comeback to waste time and money there!!!

We got the #3 Goi Cuon Thit Nuong(2) $ 4.95. Charbroiled Pork Spring Rolls: Grilled slices of pork, lettuce, and vermicelli noodles rolled in fresh rice paper served with peanut sauce. This was delicious! I loved the peanut sauce! We also got the # 17 Phở Tai Chin Sach(Fresh Rice Noodles with Eye Round Steak, Well Done Brisket & Tripe) with a side of Bo Vien(Beef Meatballs). It was alright, the broth wasn’t the tastiest, but it was okay. I’m sure the broth wasn’t laced with MSG because the phở didn’t leave me hella thirsty. The meatballs were okay too. The restaurant’s décor look very modern and that made the phở restaurant look like an upscale phở restaurant. Will come back here if I was craving phở and this was the closest phở area!

This place is mediocre at best. The phở is simple. Definitely not worth $ 7.50 for a SMALL bowl. My boyfriend ordered a large and they brought him a small. They forgot to bring us bean sprouts and the other veggies they brought us FIVE basil leaves. ONLY five for two people, about 10 bean sprouts. I would expect a lot more if we are going to spend nearly $ 20 on two small bowls of phở. The interior is nice and everything but you can get a better bowl of phở at a hole in the wall.

Dropped in here by chance after shopping at DSW. Wow, what a surprise! It was a busy Saturday evening(6PM) at the mall, and we selected this restaurant by chance. Excellent find, with good inexpensive food, fresh Spring Rolls, and a very hard working and friendly staff. Phở with tendon & tripe was good, as was the generous order of fresh Spring Rolls(4) for $ 5. A local draft beer completed the setting. Broth was a bit mild, but good. Ah, I almost forgot to mention the décor and ambiance. It was richly appointed and a couple of notches above the average Phở restaurant. With tax, and drinks, the tab was only $ 31 for two people. Well Done!

All I have to say is… I LOVELOVELOVE their Ca Ri Viet. But make sure you’re an avid curry fan if you go with this dish, it’s potent lol. But for me trying to eat healthier it’s a good option with lots of fresh veggies and I choose chicken for my protein. Their charbroiled pork spring rolls are also to die for if you like that real char flavor that’s hard to find. Delicious food, good prices, and I always have leftovers. Can’t beat that :)

One of the worst Phở restaurants I’ve ever been to. Walked in and saw the place, looked nice and cozy. Got seated and put in the order with my friend. Then everything went downhill. I used the restroom and it was very dark and seemed dirty. There was a big spider on the wall. I ordered the same thing as my friend #20 it was supposed to be beef, tripe, tendon etc. My bowl of phở came quickly, but the server served my bowl first instead of serving both at the same time. We had to wait like 8 minutes for my friend’s to arrive… I noticed there was a tiny piece of raw beef stuck on my bowl… After all that awkward waiting we finally started eating, then we noticed that I got the wrong order. My bowl was just a plain beef phở. So I stopped eating and flagged down the server. The server saw me but she went ahead and filled up drinks for other customers then went to another table to take another order before coming to me. There were about 5 servers and 9 small tables at lunch time, so I don’t see how it would take so long to do things. Finally she came over and I told her what’s wrong and she said sorry for the wait and then sorry and took my bowl into the kitchen to correct my order. After another 8 minutes mine finally came. The soup tasted the same as earlier, way too salty. Beef were stuck together, dry and overcooked and some of the noodles were stuck together making it difficult to eat or pick up. She didn’t bother to give me more bean sprouts or basil so I had to eat it just like that. The server quickly came back with the bill and said there’s no rush and left. My friend finished her bowl way before me so she had to wait for me to finish. When we were ready to pay we had to wait for her for like 6 minutes before she came by to take the bill. When she came to take the bill she again repeated«Sorry for the wait» After we left, about half an hour later my stomach was hurting and I had to use the restroom…

I’m not sure why this place has so little star ratings, but this place is lovely! Very friendly staff, very clean and modern and the food is yummy!

Today, I ordered the phở with brisket tripe and tendon. The friendly server accommodated my request since it wasn’t listed on menu. Service was quick. Ambience is getting run down. Several lights were out throughout the dining area. And some areas are in a need of a good dusting. So, the phở. I wish the broth had been hotter. It was just warm. And the sliced brisket had a bright green and coppery tint. It smelled okay, but I didn’t want to take a chance. So requested to change out and put in raw sliced beef. Which was somewhat cooked by the warm broth to nice tender pink. I asked the server if he would eat the green shiny meat and he said he would as he wasn’t picky! Oh my. Really??? Green meat??? Oh well. Oh well. He corrected the dish to my liking. I like that they use chunks of tendons(some parts a little tough) and thickly sliced cut tripe. It’s a good chewy texture. They need to clean up their act if I come back. I’ll be looking at the reviews!
