An extra star for having vegan options. Otherwise, a pretty mediocre sammich place. Most sammich places count bell pepper + cheese as a vegetarian option and that’s all they’d have. Capriotti’s offers vegan cheesesteak, vegan turkey, and vegan cheeseburger, so that’s a big plus for me. My cheesesteak didn’t look much like cheesesteak. I might have accidentally declined additional veggies such as peppers and onions by mistake. The roll was very soft though. The place is clean and the staff is very friendly. I would like for them to open for longer hours. It’s certainly no Ike’s(San Francisco bay area). Another alternative may be Gerogetown Liquor Company. I will still come back and try the vegan turkey and the half soup combo!

I have been to this place a couple of times. The food is decent for a quick sandwich shop. However, today’s experience left me not particularly interested in returning. Upon arrival, I ordered the Pick 2 version these guys offer. I’d asked for the chicken noodle soup and half of their cranberry sandwich. The girl ringing us up, was plenty sweet, entered it in the system and then said that sandwich wasn’t part of the Pick 2 deal but anything else on the menu was. I told her it’s okay, just charge me what she needs to but she said I can’t have the combination. Strange, okay. I asked my husband to order while I did another quick search of the menu. Ended up ordering the soup and a different sub. She rang us up(2 people and a fountain drink) for $ 35. I asked if maybe she rang me up twice, as that didn’t seem right. She said she hadn’t, but I showed her on the screen where the error was. Absolutely not her fault, but perhaps she was new or not well trained because she had to call another employee over to delete the charge. The 2 of them took about 4 minutes to delete the charge. We paid(a much better $ 22 :)) and went to wait. I continued to scan the menu looking for any indication of notice that one is not allowed to order a bowl of soup and a half cranberry sub. I couldn’t find anything. I absolutely could have missed it so I have no troubles with the combination not being part of the specialty price but I for some reason could not get over the fact that there was no way to charge me separately for 2 items. Food came. We ate. It was decent. Until I saw the moldy bread I was served. Took a picture. Gave up at that time. Maybe it’s a sign this place just isn’t for me.

Well I agree with most the sandwiches are not what they are in Las Vegas. When my co-worker and I went in for lunch the floor and tables were dirty, most of the soda machine was out of order, as well as the ice tea. So if wanted something to drink you had to get a bottle of soda. The employee at the front was visited by her family and she had a baby in the back. It was really unprofessional. If and really if I go back it would for take out only!

Horrible. Now, all my coworkers go here for sandwiches and say they’re pretty good so I decided to try them out. To start when I walked inside to pick up my order the TV was on Love and Hip Hop. Now I’m all for rachet tv but come on for a business. Very unprofessional! Then my balsamic chicken salad was full of wilted lettuce. I called to speak to the manager and he say it looks good to him… then proceeds to ask me what i want him to do about it. I just hung up. This place wont last long.

I’ve never heard of Capriotti’s so I went in with zero expectations. That said. it was just okay. I went with the Capture 2(½ sandwich & soup) for $ 8.89. I went with their best seller«The Bobbie» and the tomato bisque. My initial reaction when I saw the portion size was good. The half sandwich(4.5″) was bigger then I expected and the soup was served in a nice sized bowl. Automatically, I thought 4 stars. Until I tried the food. The sandwich was bland and it it consisted of turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing and mayo. By the description, I was hoping for a sandwich that felt and tasted like Thanksgiving. Instead, I was left with a bunch of ingredients that didn’t seem to work together. The bread was thick and soft, the turkey was a bit dry, and the stuffing and cranberry sauce tasted fine on their own. The tomato bisque was more enjoyable then my sandwich — it was flavorful, thick and served at a good temperature. It was perfect for a rainy Seattle day. My thoughts after I finished my meal left me feeling a little disappointed. I wanted this place to be really good when I walked in and saw all the menu choices. I would give them another try if I was in the area craving a sandwich. Hopefully it was just an off day. 4 stars for portion size, 2 stars for the food. And I added an extra star for the good service.

I remember how excited we were when we heard that Capriotti’s was coming to Seattle(close enough anyways)! We have to go to Vegas every year for a convention and Capriotti’s in Vegas is always a highlight for us. When Capriotti’s announced they were making it to Washington we found out where and when and we were ready for them to open! That excitement has faded tremendously and since Capriotti’s has opened. The past two times that we’ve eaten there, the sandwiches have been dry, scarce on the meat, extra cheese that was paid for, not given. Overall, poor quality. If you like bread, you’ll enjoy your sandwich because that’s about all you’ll be getting. The customer service is lacking. This Capriotti’s just doesn’t hold the same quality that the Vegas ones(we’ve visited multiple ones) have. I might give this Capriotti’s another try in a couple months if they’re still open and see if anything has changed. TL;DR: We were excited, we’re not anymore. Sandwiches are dry and not the same as the Vegas ones. I don’t think this Capriotti’s is going to survive if they don’t turn things around. Might try again, but really… I’ll just wait for my once a year binge in Vegas.

I give it a solid four as I enjoy the uniqueness of the sandwiches. The service was also good. Their best selling sandwich, «the Bobbie», is actually very good and coming from me, someone who thinks turkey is pointless and usually tastes like a napkin. So this is saying something. The last visit I had the chicken cheese steak and probably will try something else next time. It was just ok. Not a lot going on like some of the others my party ordered. With the sandwich I had the broccoli cheddar soup which had good flavor but it was kind of runny or watered down. One huge plus, they know what sweet tea is. Hard to find in the northwest. Almost a reason alone to patronize them! We have used them for work functions and are always a big hit. Highly recommend you check them out if you haven’t.

This place is pretty okay. It’s not everyday I can get a veggie sandwich so I decided to try them out. The SO and I got basically the same sandwich, one with hot peppers and one without. Even though I didn’t ask for hot peppers several of them managed to make it on to my sandwich — very unpleasant surprise! The bread is regular, everyday, nothing-at-a;ll-special and the overall sandwich was pretty okay. Considering that this is a fast food establishment they’re 3 star worthy. The only thing I really hate is if you tip they yell«TIPMONEY!!» so that they kitchen can yell«thank you» back. Ack.

Ooooooohhhhh yesss! This place serves up a great sandwhich«the Bobbi» with real turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce! Oooohhhhhh soooo good! 9″ with soda was a bit over $ 10 which was worth it! I think I will be making more visits to this great addition to the Southcenter area and a much better choice than neighboring sandwhich shops.

Excited to see one of these open in Washington state, as I have eaten here in Henderon, NV and it was amazing. I ordered the Bobbie which was amazing. My wife ordered the chicken cheese steak, and I am not sure if you have to order it separately, but it did not have any peppers or onions on it. Customer service was decent. Update, second visit, the food was decent, although they forgot condiments on my wife’s sandwich and half the employees were sitting in the front of the store on their phones while only one employee actually ran the register.

Delish! Stopped in based on a recommendation from a friend who was familiar with this place from living in Las Vegas. Need to go back to try other menu items as I’ve heard rave reviews from others. Capstrami was delicious! Meat was tender and tasty, cole slaw was the perfect compliment. The bread is so soft and just enough to hold the sandwich together. Cheesesteak was yummy! I added the fried onions thinking they were going to be deep fried onion strings but they were actually grilled onions — I would have passed had I known that. Check it out. a small is more than enough. The soup tasted fresh and seasoned perfectly; not sure if they are made from scratch or bought in a bag but it was yummy.

I’m so excited that Cappriotti’s came to Washington. Yummy sandwiches. Very filling and a lot of choices. I also like how the overhead menu shows the calories. The girl that took our order was a little confused but it all worked out. The difference with this Cappriotti’s from the one in Vegas was the sandwiches were not wrapped in paper. They were filled with so much food that I couldn’t get a good bite. I managed though. The sandwiches have good flavor for sure. The only thing that was not good was the temperature of the restaurant. Too cold!!! Everyone kept their jackets on while eating. I will be back though. Yummy takes over from comfort.

Having eaten at Capriotti’s when we lived in Las Vegas and Arizona, we were so very excited that this was opening… However, after having eaten there, hubby and I are scratching our heads wondering what the heck happened. While I was happy enough with my Capastrami, the Russian cole slaw didn’t have that same taste as it did in Vegas or Phoenix. I’m going to order The Bobby next time and see how that is. Hubby ordered the vegan turkey sandwich. While happy with the vegetarian/vegan option, it lacked the flavor profile that he normally looked forward to. Maybe they need a few more months to get their act together. We’ll wait it out before going back for a second shot.

A new addition of sandwiches to the NW. I have been looking forward to eating here for 2 months. Ate here the other day and had a lackluster experience. Husband and I each ordered a sandwich and I received my Capastrami within 10 minutes. He never received his sandwich and had to ask them to make it. The manager apologized and said they had just opened and were working out the kinks. I wonder why they serve their sandwiches on plates for those dining in. I want the full Capriotti’s experience by having my sandwich wrapped in paper. I think it helps the flavors meld together better. Also stingy with the meat at this new location. I will be back to give them another review after«they work out the kinks».

For my first visit to Capriotti’s I got the Chicken Cheesesteak. It is better than any steak I’ve had on South Street in Philly(and I’m from Philly). This place has a great atmosphere, welcoming staff and delicious food. Highly recommend!

I was so happy to see a Capriottis opening in the surrounding Seattle area. I’ve had gone to Capriottis in Las Vegas and the portions were huge, fresh, and delicious. I missed it and was looking forward to have the subs in my hands once again, locally. What my husband and I received today was utter crap. My husband ordered the Cheese Steak in a size medium and it had little meat with no onions or peppers. We only asked for no mushrooms and just got a pathetic tiny medium sub with minimally cheese and meat. Do you have to order the peppers separately now with an additional cost? Before we had that included with no additional cost I ordered the Bobbie and it was also small in portion and cold. I’ve had this warm in other Las Vegas locations, is this new??? I probably won’t be back until the standards are back to the top of how I remembered Capriotti’s subs are suppose to be. Ugh, so disappointed! The picture I uploaded is how it’s SUPPOSE to be. Come on guys, get it together! For spending over $ 20 I expect quality subs and I’ve been there plenty of times in the Las Vegas locations and never received anything so poorly done. Search through Unilocal at the Las Vegas locations for Capriottis and you’ll see the difference.
