You know, I am not a fan of Steak, but we came here because my friend is. I chose to have one of their fish platters. As I have heard, it is definitely huge portions that they serve. The seating was pretty quick(we most always go during off hours). Wait staff was friendly and parking was plenty.(Like I mentioned, it was between popular eating times for most people.) I think the location was A-Okay because it was in the middle of all the retail and a popular shopping area. They work really hard to make it a nice environment. But as far as food? Yeah, it’s okay but a bit pricey. Not much choices for my restricted diet though.

If I could give this place a zero-star I would. The WORST possible service that I have received going out to eat anywhere in a long time. The hostess apparently lied to me and said we had our table saved for our party for our reservation when it wasn’t. When we got there, the hostess told us that she meant that she thought our table would be opened up for our reservation. She then told us they could seat us right away(a party of 8) if two booths were acceptable. Very unacceptable so we said we would wait for a table to open, which she told us would be an additional 30 mins. We waited an additional hour for a total wait time of an hour and a half despite having a reservation, while the whole time the hostess staff were seating parties of 6 who had arrived after us. The hostess staff also were giving us an attitude like it was our fault we were angry. Very unprofessional. We called around to another local restaurant who said they could seat us right away so we left and had an incredible experience there. I would say better luck next time, but there won’t be a next time.

Not impressed service was ok. They messed up on my order twice and they never emptied out table once plates were empty. This place needs some work.

This place is a hott mess! 5050 chance on getting what u order. dirty dishes.servers hate their jobs. cooks dont care about steak temperatures. But the worst part is the management. Arturo .rude as hell. you can barely understand this guys english and has the big attitude for no reason also lied severall time to my face aswellas on the phone. kevin .thinks he has made his family proud because he runs an outback steakhouse in tukwila wa. talking to him you would think hes ceo of a multi national tech company set to rule the industry!

The bloomin onion was fantastic. The baked potato was perfect. The ceasar salad was tasty. Those were the good points. The coconut shrimp was burnt. The service, horrendous. There were only 2 of us, and we had the exact same meal. We got there at 4:50pm. The waitress left for 30, sometimes 45 mins at a time, with no checking on us. We sat for so long with our empty plates in front of us, another server actually came over and took our plates, and asked if we needed anything else. We finally were given our bill, paid it, and were able to leave at 7:35pm. Don’t go here if you’re in a hurry.

Standard chain steaks for the suburban crowd. Could find a much better slab of meat for the price. The blooming onion alone would be worth a visit, just leave after the appetizers.

Been going to Outback for years I would have to say last night’s experience was by far the worst. It started our really well seated fast, drinks came quickly which was nice. I ordered the 8 ounce sirloin which came to me overcooked and it basically was one gaint peice of Sinew. Our waitress wasn’t rude but she was obviously mad about something and it definitely showed. I told her about the steak and I got a huff and a head shake as she walked away, leaving the overcooked tire with me. Needless to say that’s my last timetime at that particular Outback.

This Outback gave me everything I was hoping for and then some! The new Victoria’s Filet Mignon with Portabello Mushrooms was cooked a perfect medium rare to my taste, though they pictured it on their menu as «medium» ! Tender, juicy and succulent. Nicely seared on the outside and warm pink to red in the center. The«6 oz» size was really more like 8 — 10 oz, and was topped with full, deep and richly flavored portobello mushrooms — some of the best I’ve ever tasted. It was further enhanced with a generous pat of «Bistro style» seasoned butter, and freshly grated parmesan cheese that resembled shoestring potatoes. There were also some roasted garlic bits which provided a pleasant surprise. My sides included Steamed Broccoli, cooked tender but still quite colorful(to which I added some of the fresh parmesan.) I also had them bring me some drawn butter for dipping the broccoli — — might as well live it up! Their Wedge Salad was outstanding too — — impressive in size, crispness and beautifully topped with Blue Cheese and a sweet balsamic dressing, bacon bits, cherry tomatoes(I asked for extra of the tomatoes) and slivers of sweet red onion. I only had to reluctantly decline the warm Squaw Bread to make this a perfectly delicious and satisfying low carb meal. Another time perhaps… If I lived anywhere nearby, I would be back here pretty often ! Like maybe tomorrow !

Because I haven’t been to Outback in years, I can honestly say my first time back wasn’t bad at all. The location of Outback sets right by Southcenter Mall which is super convenient. We were seated quickly and we were given water almost instantly. If you like fatty and tasty steaks, I highly recommend ordering the Rib-Eye steak and if you’re more into the meaty type of steaks, your best choice would be the New York steak. As for your sides, the Baked Potato Soup and Baked Potato were both incredibly tasty. The reason why I give this Outback location 4 stars is because it lacked in positive customer service. When we were ordering, our server was a bit snobbish and gave off a bad vibe. However, overall my experience here was good.

Waited less than 5 min, I had the sirloin and steak came out perfectly medium rare, also comes with a choice of complimentary of Patato and sides(Caesar) Ordered a glass of sangria, very strong. And all under $ 40 including tax and tip per person.

I ordered the Victoria filet mignon, crab cakes & added Lobster tails. Very disappointed the waitress had a lot of tables to work. Not her fault but since I waited 30mins for a table then 30mins to order. I had a big appetite & I’m patience. The food was horrible. I think maybe the cook or chef was an amateur. Practice makes perfect, I guess. Next time, I’ll just go to Bellevue(John Howie). I guess you get what you pay for. But staff was professional.

with their increase in price and same lackluster food I’ve become less impressed. The outback steakhouse is a step higher option than of applebees. I’ve thrown quite a few shrimp on the barbie over the years and when prices were reasonable this was an okay place to go. Upon my last visit with some friends, it looks as if they have done some renovations to make the place look more upscale. Prices reflected the upgrades. They mimicked the same style of touch screens at the table to preorder some food and keep you entertained. To my dismay it’s $ 1 charge to play any games(whilst buffalo wild wings is free and everyone gets their own). Foodwise, the blooming onion still holds true and unique to it’s competitors. Its one of the sole reasons why I come here to eat that and the honey oat bread and whipped butter. After my last visit and getting a $ 60 bill for a bland prime rib with no horseradish, a chop salad, and a blooming onion — i was rather flabbergasted. I can deal with mediocre food but for that dollar amount i could have gone to a higher end steak house with better food! Overall the food was okay but bang for buck I’ve experienced much better. With the new setup and higher overhead, the outback steak house is more of taking you out back and nickle and diming you for more money with the same ol’ quality(which is below par)

Definitely will not be returning here after the rudeness displayed by the manager last night. We called ahead, told them there would be 10 of us(6 adults, 4 kids) they told us it would be about 20 minutes for a table so we put our name on the list and showed up. When we got there, the hostess informed us that there was good news, a party of 15 had cancelled, and pointed at a table where a party was finishing up saying that once they left it was ours. They handed us a pager and we waited. The party left, and they cleaned the table. We waited, and then waited some more expecting the pager to buzz any moment. After about 45 minutes, they started seating the table with another party who showed up after us. I went up to the host stand, and inquired with the hostess as to what happened, and she turned to a manager who started to tell me if you wait for one of another couple of tables to empty we will sit you there. I then explained to him what were told 45 minutes prior, and told me «Oh well, no one told me to sit you there» in a very rude voice, and just went about his business. With the decline of chain restaurants, you would think they would value the business that still walks through their doors. Wee wont be back!

Good experience tonight at the Outback. Our server Katie was slammed and was still courteous and speedy. Same with the food runner(don’t know her name). She went above and beyond. The Manager Jathan was extremely helpful and accommodating. Thanks for making it a fun evening.

Havn’t been to Outback in years until today a stopped here with my visiting mother. I ordered the 12oz new york strip and was cook spot on to my liking(no sauce needed) Waitress was a lovely girl(believe her name was Heidi) she was attentive and never had us waiting and even took time to chit chat with us which always says to me a server is kind hearted. Thankyou for a nice lunch!

Yes outback steakhouse is a chain and I understand that. However it’s a steakhouse chain, that’s all they cook. you would think one would know how to cook a steak properly and maybe put a little salt and pepper. That’s pretty much all you When my server Finally arrived to take my order I told her what beer I would like. five minutes later she came back to say they don’t have that beer and offered me a different one wasn’t even on the menu but I was lucky it’s a better beer. the funny thing is I was sitting in the bar next to the bar. So after placing my order it took several minutes for Bread to show up. Even wonder for my steak to cook and arrive. I ordered it rare to medium and as soon as it came I touched it and knew it was medium to medium well. The broccoli was overcooked and cold, the shrimp was fair and that was cold also another server noticed I was a little concerned with how my steak was and she approached. me my server never came back until it was time to give the bill. I guess I just have to figure out when I go to a chain restaurant I have to lower my expectations to if I get food I’m happy

Decent food, typical for an Outback. This location has an exceptionally good bartender. Friendly, very fast even during a crush. As Outback Steakhouses go, this one is well above average.

Well once again the steak was prepared wrong not once, but twice. Unfortunately for us, the owner, Kevin, was in charge tonight. Not only did I have to wait and wait to get it done correctly, but this tight wad jerk didn’t even give us a consideration on our bill! We got some extra mushrooms and a baked potato… Wow. This is not the first occasion where we have not been treated well by this guy. The server was great, but I was wishing for the days when Arturo was there. He always made us feel very welcome and if there was a problem he ALWAYS made some consideration. Kevin’s lack of respect for us as customers and our lost time really upset us. This is the second time he has treated us like this. Please read my review from 15 months ago. He doesn’t make customers feel like they matter at all and is very condescending. This kind of attitude and treatment, on a second occurrence will be sent on up to Outback corporate headquarters via registered mail. It’s just shameful to treat people like that just because you don’t want to lose a few dollars of your profits.

I can’t attest anything about the inside of this location because during this one and only visit my husband and I used the their curbside pickup service. The one and only thing I do know is that Tukwila’s location provided us with our takeout meal and it was consistent with meals my hubs and I have had at other Outbacks. Our takeout order included the brown bread and butter they serve tableside. The meal was served as generously as it traditionally is inside with their huge salad and all of the items were packaged well in the to-go bag including salad dressing, baked potato toppings, and main courses. I will be interested to give them a whirl inside.

I came here for dinner at the request of my friends who were getting married to say thanks for helping them with the wedding. There were six of us total. It was a busy night and they don’t take reservations so we had to wait 30 minutes for a table. After we were seated, we were helped right away by our server and the drinks came out fast. It took longer than expected to get our food, but it was all OK, not bad and not great. The servers don’t sit next to you anymore, thank goodness. I hated that. They added the electronic ordering system to the tables where you can order anything directly from it vs. waiting for a server. However, we did order an appetizer using it and the server never brought it out. We didn’t worry about it. This system also has silly games on it. I prefer to interact with the people I’m with — cell phones down during dinner. This system is another distraction besides the TV’s going on in the bar and the noise in the restaurant. Besides, are the servers paying attention? There’s a free parking lot and plenty of room is available. We all know that Outback has nothing in common with Australian food and is a regular American steakhouse. When they add kangaroo, meat pies, damper, shrimp on the barbie — which is nothing like how it is made here — and anything else that’s actually Australian, I think it will be a sign of the end of the world. Food: 3 Service: 3 Ambiance: 3 Parking: 3

I have been craving for some steak and its been some time so we came to Outback. I notice on Unilocal its pretty much same from alot of cusyomers. We have received good Service from our carying server! The food’s really was not as good what I’m used to especially steak that I have paid $ 20 and it came out flat and it look like for the bottom of my soul. I didn’t even try it left it. My kid burger came out so pink it was not even funny! I left my plate alone and untouched. This was the worst food in a long time and I honestly won’t be coming back for a long time. I didn’t say one thing I payed my bill and left. Let’s see if the management really cares

When you go to a steakhouse, order the steak. This is why I gave the rating 2 stars instead of 1 star. We went on a weekday. We were not offered or given a happy hour menu, even though it was 5PM. I ordered a beer. It came with a short pour. That is a bad way to first be served. I watched other beers getting filled to the brim. The baked potato came with toppings not ordered or wanted. But it was cooked fine and tasted great. The bill showed a $ 4 charge for one of the entrée items included with the steak dinner. The error was fixed. The cobb pecan salad had maybe one pecan broken into 8 pieces. Insane. The bloomin’ onion was blooming tasty, but really designed for four people. It is good to try once. A gift card tip: ALWAYS check the balance before trying to use a gift card. Whoever gave us the gift card I tried to use did not get it properly issued, and with no receipt available, I was SOL. Yes, the steak(sirloin) was excellent and cooked as ordered. Service was a bit slow, but nothing to fuss over. Overall, we had a bad experience today. I had hoped, after reading other reviews, that our time there would be fine because I thought the staff would work to make things better. Maybe they are, maybe they’re not. For us, it was not.

I came here with my boyfriend and his family for his dad and sister’s birthday. I asked the hostess if they do anything special for birthdays, and she told us that birthday guests get a dessert of choice on the house. At the end of dinner, our waitress told us that she would bring out sundaes for the birthday peeps. When I asked about the free any dessert on the house, she said that’s not true and just left us. She did not apologize or make an effort to try and say they won’t make the same mistake in the future with other guests. I thought the service was slightly rude considering we were told one thing at first and another thing at another time. She could have honored the free dessert of choice because they were already excited for it. The food left a lot to be desired for also. Though the portions were large and filling, none of our steaks were cooked correctly. A well done steak was still pink in the middle and our medium rare steaks were almost completely raw. It was also extremely chewy and sinewy rather than tender and melt in your mouth. I probably won’t come back again unless it’s requested by someone else.

The steak quality is the best! You obviously go here only for steak! It is better in rare but it more of optional, stone grill pr wood fire are both good, but the stone grill has more flavor. The bread here serve free and it is heavenly good, free refill! Steaks are awesome! Services are really nice.

I eat at Outback because, as a general rule of thumb the quality of the food and service is consistent throughout the chain, all across the country. Tonite was no exception. I had the Victoria’s cut filet and lobster tail. The steak,(6oz) was cooked as I ordered it and the lobster tail(4oz) was steamed and very tasty. My side was steamed broccoli which was cooked perfectly. Started with a blue cheese wedge salad which was fresh and served cold, the way I like it. Service was good, and this restaurant featured the new electronic terminals at each table that allowed me to pay the tab without having to give my card to the waitress. All restaurant’s should have this. A good dining experience overall for this business traveler.

I haven’t been here in many, many years until I was recently in the bar. It was the first time I’ve seen little order terminals at the tables. You can order, pay, and everything with minimal human interaction. Because, you know, the last thing I want to do when I go out in public is talk to other people. I opted not to use their depressing contraption and parked myself at the bar. Service was very slow and impersonal, even though there were few people there. My margarita was okay; definitely not the best I’ve had, but not quite the worse either. The bloomin’ onion we got as a snack wasn’t like how I remember them from the past. It was extra greasy and not overly pleasant at all.

The Outback is another chain steakhouse. In my opinion, it’s in the same category as The Sizzler, Black Angus, etc. I dine here couple of times a year because my husband is a fan. I usually order Ribs, Filet or Sirloin. The food has always been mediocre at best. PROS: Complimentary bread. The honey wheat bread loaf had always been very moist and fresh out of the oven. The butter cream spreads nicely on the warm bread. Chicken Wings. Probably the best thing that I’ve had here. The wings here are one of my favorite wings at any restaurant by far. They use a variety of spices to season it and there’s a good kick to it without being too spicy. Portion size. The steaks and other entrees come with two sides so they feed you well here. Service. Pretty good and attentive service. I haven’t encountered anything negativity from their servers. There’s also an electronic portable monitor display at each table so if you wanted to order anything extra, you could do so without waiting for your waiter. Pretty neat idea. CONS: Food quality. If you want a good piece of steak then I recommend going to a higher end steakhouse. It might be pricey but at least you get your moneys worth. I’ve never been satisfied with any of their steaks. It always tasted like it was previously frozen. They also lack flavor and seasoning. My last experience I ordered a caesar salad as one of my side it was very poorly mixed. There were still chunks of dressings present. The romaine lettuce tasted as if it was starting to wilt. I never feel like I’m getting my moneys worth after dining here.

My husband and I love Outback. It was our first date many years ago in Key West, on Tuesday it was our three year wedding anniversary and we thought maybe we would go back and just«remember» our first date. When we walked in we were sat within a decent time but the host(a younger male) was in a hurry or he didn’t care that I was pregnant and holding the hand of a two year old and we walk a little slower than his fast walk. He was around the corner by the kitchen by the time we started moving! When we sat he threw the kids menu and crayons we asked for a high-chair, he never returned. We sat there for about 10 minutes and our server came over, he seemed to have a section away from our table so we understood why he needed some extra time. No biggy, we didn’t mind the wait at all. After a few minutes I went up to the back of the restaurant to get a booster seat because I got tired of waiting. We ordered wings and fries for our starter, they were nothing fancy. Fries were soggy, cheese was nothing great and the bacon was chewy. I could of made the same thing at home. Wings were ok. We ordered the chicken for our son, he loved it. I ordered the Victoria, the 6oz and a bowl of soup(they didn’t have potato so I had to have tortilla, that’s ok I like tortilla but it would of been nice to have the potato soup the one that’s on the menu.) The soup was good but like the appetizer nothing fancy. My steak was good, not worth the 26 $ we paid for it. My husband ordered the Victoria too, he said he was decent too. He ordered a Cesar and rice for his sides. The Cesar had no dressing, was very boring salad. It was just very disappointing, we paid almost 100 dollars on our meal and it was nothing great. We could of made something better at home, and by better I mean more tasteful. Our server bless his heart was running around like a mad man but he was really good with making sure out drinks were full and we had everything we needed. We might not be back again, not because of service but because it was nothing special. Not worth the price of the food. There is a steakhouse in the next shopping center, we will try that next time.

Had a great visit to this Outback. Both my wife and I ordered steaks and both were cooked perfect and had zero fat to trim. One nice touch was a new terminal similar to a tablet at each table. You could order your entire meal from that tablet or an extra beer. You can also pay your bill and add a tip right on the tablet. No more waiting for your waitress who sometimes has mentally moved on to the next table by then. This tablet probably shaved 10 minutes off our visit. The only thing to be careful of is that games are not free(after the first two plays). Don’t just give the tablet to your five year old or you might have a bigger bill than you expected :). If Outback is listening I would recommend just making these«games» free. It may seem like an opportunity to earn some extra revenue, but most people will just play games for free on their iPhones. Just my 2 cents. Everything else about our dining experience was typical for an Outback Steakhouse. We’ll certainly be back.
