Best item presented was the himalayan salted butter. Ordered the filet medium well after reading multiple reviews about undercooked meat. To the line cooks this translated to dried out, over cooked slice of protein. Good thing the butter was so good, it is what added that sheen to the meat puck in the picture. The mashed potatoes might have been from a tub at Costco. I don’t know what to say about the mushrooms other than do not spend 7 dollars on this side. In my travels I have often found Hiltons offer some very good onsite dining. Not in SeaTac. To top off this glorious experience my waiter(and the entire staff for that matter) went MIA just as I wanted the bill so I could leave. When he returned to the table he reeked of cigarette smoke. Can you say ‘cherry on top’?

Quality is poor. Service is okay. I ordered a bone-in ribeye. It was overcooked so we sent it back. The replacement was cooked correctly; however, the flavor was bad. We had a large party and reviews were mixed — nobody was over the moon. Some of the appetizers were fairly good but nobody loved their entrée. I wouldn’t go back a second time.

Amazingly good. For the location the prices were very much in line with the superb quality of the food. I will return here many times in the future. The steaks were succulent and cooked perfectly the oysters were delicate and very tasty. If you have time while waiting for a play new Seattle and excellent place for a meal!

This is the restaurant that is inside the Hilton Seattle Airport — saying came no where close to meeting my expectations for a high end steakhouse is being generous. After seeing prices listed on the menu, I was expecting a very fresh, well prepared meal. What I got was anything but… I ordered what was supposed to be Parmesan Herb Fries served with aioli, cedar plank salmon with a maple reduction — Instead, I got frozen fries served with an «aioli» that looked and tasted a lot like the Heinz ketchup and a piece of salmon served on a ceramic plate with what amounted to warmed up artificial maple syrup with some almond slivers in it… very disappointing to say the least. The only reason I’m giving two stars is due to the wait staff and bartenders. They were very friendly and accommodating.

Wife and I stopped in before we dropped her off at the Airport. Very nice inside though parking is a bit confusing and not much of it. Inside is extremely impressive and the staff was very nice. The food and variety is very extensive and high quality. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is its priced too high and it shouldn’t be due to the area. I would recommend for anyone wanting to have a nice meal immediately after landing or just before taking off.

Had the breakfast, pineapple upside down pancakes. If your in the mood for pineapple this is the meal for you. It was great although I couldn’t eat all the pineapple. Service was great too, felt like I had personalized service.

The environment at Spencer’s is nice, and fits the $$$ price. However, the food is sub-par and overpriced, and should be $$. This place is acceptable if you have no where else to go, but there is better nearby the hotel.

After a poor experience at the end of April 2015, we spoke to the manager, Erin. She made things right & invited us to return in the near future when there would be a few menu & staff changes. We returned & we loved it! The steaks were fabulous, side items terrific and the service from David was over the top. The improvements were obvious and we will be back to enjoy what they have to offer.

I was staying nearby awaiting a flight out of SeaTac the next morning. Spencer’s looked good from the road, so i chose them. At 7:00 p.m. the place was deserted, but it was Memorial Day, and Hilton is a business travel hotel, so that made sense. My halibut was one of the best pieces of halibut I have ever been served, and I lived in Alaska, so I’ve seen halibut. Unfortunately, the preparation was uninspired. Whereas it was cooked correctly for such a thick fillet, it was dredged in some sort of dry rub that made it have a skin but not a crust. The creamed spinach was swimming alongside in undrained spinach brine. I had to wait about 30 mins. for the meal, which was fine in general, but tedious, as they don’t serve hot bread, not even with the entrée, and the tough pieces that are stone cold are half-way to being leather. My tea was allowed to go completely empty, and when the busboy offered to get another, I welcomed it, but asked him to check the tea, as mine was beginning to ferment. That prompted a manager to come over and tell me I was wrong, without asking me a thing, and without checking the tea as requested. I know fermented tea and it is a common problem in hot kitchens and places where they mix today’s with yesterday’s. It put me off ordering dessert. If you’re staying there, by all means be a captive market. If you’re a free range traveler, choose better, if not more expensive. My halibut was $ 38 ala carte. That’s acceptable, if premium, but should have good service and hot bread standard. Missing.

Had the turkey melt. Expensive and tasteless food. Friends had burger and fish. Small expensive portions.

My wife and I tried Spencer’s again on 3−15−15. This our first time back in 21 months. The service is very good to great. I had the Wedge Salad and my wife had the Butternut Bisque. Both were very good. She ordered the Filet cut and I ordered the New York Strip, both ordered medium. Her Filet was cooked Medium well and was very dry. My New York Strip was cooked unevenly, from Well done(a little burnt) to Medium on the other end of the steak. By New York had no flavor to it. It’s too bad that the quality has slipped this bad. The New York, with a price of $ 52 and the Filet, with a price of $ 44, are way over priced for the quality. I can highly recommend Melrose Grill in Renton. Not only are the steaks about $ 20 cheaper each, they’re prepared perfectly and with about the same very good service.

The burger is amazing, whatever it’s called. Through a weird circumstance, I found myself staying overnight at the Hilton, and this burger was the best part about my visit. I would actually consider driving to Sea-Tac just so I could have this burger. It’s seriously weird how good it is. Try it.

The most dissatisfying meal I have ever had in my entire life! First of all, it is over priced for the location, ambiance, and the service. Second, Food was not good at all! I had the slow roast pork but it was dry on the inside, flavors were confusing, although presentation was okay. The pretzel burger was not cook. Under seasoned and just mainly bad. Lastly, it was poorly executed customer service. It was just an awful experience. I wouldn’t recommend it to any one. It’s such a waste of time!

Had a quick lunch here. Tuna tartar was ok, certainly edible. The pulled pork sandwich though was really good. Just terrific. Best of all, I said I needed to be in and out quick and everything was done and ready to meet my timeline without sacrificing quality.

I think a review should be helpful for both diners & the restaurant, so I do hope the management agrees & takes these ‘pros & cons’ into account. Pros: 1) my waiter, Jesse, was pleasant & made me feel comfortable(in contrast, I had the most awkward server during lunch here… but I digress) 2) the salmon was very good. It was topped with some delicious lentils & served with a horseradish sauce. Nice portion also. 3) the Oyster Bay Sauvignon Blanc… always good. Cons: 1) the service was painfully slow! It took almost an hour before my entrée was finally served. I actually considered leaving a $ 10 bill on the table to cover my glass of wine & just forgetting the whole thing. During this seemly endless stretch of time, I was asked multiple times if I wanted another glass of wine. I declined. 3) I sent my salad back after just a couple of bites. The greens tasted old & the Caesar dressing had no flavor at all. They took it away with apologies but still included it on my bill(which they later removed after I protested) If you are a guest in the Hilton & are pretty much stuck here, go ahead & take the rental car or a taxi out for dinner somewhere else. You can do a lot better around SeaTac area for something to eat if you’re going to spend that kind of money. I think this restaurant is actually a deficit to the Hilton. I come to Seattle on business on a regular basis & always like to stay in a hotel with a restaurant in case I don’t want to go out. This restaurant might make me opt out of the Hilton next time.

For a fancy steakhouse(as in, a la cart steak with no sides at $ 50-plus per person), I would expect a much higher quality of food. It seems from other reviews as if this might be part of a larger chain, but all I can say is I’m positive this restaurant would not survive if it were not the on-site restaurant for the Sea-Tac Hilton. I don’t see any way it could possibly survive as a stand alone dining venue. The rundown: We’re not big eaters in the first place, and we were trying to save room for dessert, so we skipped the appetizers and salads, but we did order a glass of champagne plus our steaks and sides. We barely had time to nibble on the bread basket and sip a little bit of champagne before the steaks arrived. Somehow, in spite of the fact that the entrées came out so quickly, they still managed to arrive at our table barely warmer than room temp. This was doubly surprising, since the menu makes such a big fuss about the steaks being broiled in a 1600° F broiling oven. I’ve had better steak at Outback.

I would definitely give the waitress a higher mark. She was very friendly and helpful. For the restaurant itself I thought it was okay. I was a bit surprised we didn’t get any bread and it was quite chilly inside. The atmosphere was a bit more of a diner feeling but a bit nicer. We had the steak with wedge blue cheese salad. I wasn’t a big fan of the steak but it was perfectly cooked for my rare request. It’s probably because I am more of a ribeye or filet mignon fan. They have more flavor to me. We started with the French onion soup and requested to be able to split it between two people. It was perfect and the cheese was amazing. It was ok for Business lunch purposes.

Steak place with a good selection. The service is on the slow side. This is a hotel restaurant but with 5 star prices. Torn objectives. Ambiance is noisy as it is mixed in with a bar. Ordered rib-eye and hash brown with good glass of red wine. The rib-eye was ordered to be medium rare. It came out medium-well done. If you want to be a steak house, it is to your advantage to hire a chef that can cook a steak! Sorry it was a poor cut and not well prepared. The hash had big pieces of onions in it and was undercooked. The wine was great! Having to pay serious prices for that kind of food is just not a good experience. Decide if you want to do bar food or fine dining, adjust prices and preparations accordingly! RIght now you have bar food at fine dining prices. Not a great combination.
