Love coming here, but it sucks they can’t do customize drinks on weekends !! That’s what makes teavana I feel like.

I really like the new renovation! I’ve always loved Teavana and every time my partner and I pass by, I always give her this look like«can I please stop by for a second?!»… Second turns into an hour lol. I love the assortment of teas they offer. My favorites are pineapple kona pop, strawberry lemonade and strawberry grapefruit xue long. Took off a star because service is slow every time I visit, but I still love this place!

I love that Teavana is in this mall and was excited when I learned of the renovation. This new concept is horrible and the staff is poorly trained to help the store run efficiently. Service is slow and I feel as if it’s everyone’s first day EVERYDAY! Bought two drinks just yesterday and both cups were filled ¾ way. This after waiting more than 15 minutes!

Loving the new layout and look. It used to be you had to walk up to a counter and ask the person working to bring down whatever teas you wanted to smell, and they would tell you all about it and what not. I don’t like that kind of pressure or feeling like you’re wasting that persons time if you just wanted to smell 5 – 10 teas and MAYBE buy 1 or none. The new layout allows you to just walk around and smell all of their teas, read about it if you like, and ask for help if/when needed. Anyway service is still fast and friendly. I feel they’ve gone for a more modern approach with the colors, which is cool. Tea has always been great, a bit pricey, but nothing absurd IMO.

I love tea, so much that I have a whole cabinet filled with an assortment of teas. Therefore, I love teavana. I cannot walk pass this place without stopping in and every time I stop in. I spend a butt load of money on tea, but it’s so worth. Anywho, they remodeled this place and it’s SOPRETTY! I love the layout of the store now and instead of offering two samples, they now have a wet bar with 6 rotating tea samples. I stopped by tonight and got a growler of pineapple berry blue because they didn’t finish brewing the chai tea I wanted, but the good thing is I can always bring back the growler for refills and it’s only $ 4.99. That’s a really good deal to me. The staff that was helping me was also really friendly and professional. I kept changing my mind on which tea I wanted and she was very patience with me. Definitely stop in to check it out if you haven’t. I already have my eyes on a couple of things I’ll be coming back for.

Tight quarters and I’m a klutz, so I’m always worried about knocking into things. I’ve stopped in here before, but today was the first time I’ve bought anything. I bought some white tea and a steeping ball. The salesperson who helped me was very helpful when I was picking out what I wanted. I took some stars off for the tight quarters and the price since I thought $ 30 was expensive for how much I bought.

I love this place. There is always samples and the tea always comes out good. Employees are not afraid of being open about suggesting you products. I would definitely come back.

Nice store, great helpful staff(the day I went). Love the samples. Found some great teas but even at 50% off the prices are crazy($ 98 a lb for Oprah Chai… really…) Spent way more than I planned for cups and tea for the girls… luckily they will use the cups and drink the tea. Will be going back to my usual tea place for loose leaf tea.

Overpriced and below average«tea» if you can even call it that. They upsell you every chance they can. Don’t waste your money at this place. Much better quality for a better price is out there.

Excellent customer service!!! HUNTER the manager @ Southcenter went above & beyond and made our visit delightful after our terribly BAD experience with Alderwood mall Teavana. I recommend Southcenter Teavana and definitely coming back after being treated so kindly here.

Very tight quarters in here. I am no klutz but am usually concerned I am going to knock over something expensive. Prices for everything here just seem too high. And I find it objectionable they charge so much for storage tins, and also they make them huge in hopes you will buy more tea to fill them. One last thing I find really odd. What is with the fanning the aroma of the tea at you? Sure, you get to smell how lovely the tea smells, but I buy tea to drink, and I don’t think I have ever met someone who buys tea blends to make potpourri. As another reviewer mentioned, they always seem to go past what you asked for weight wise and then ask if that is ok. The tea is good, but not boutique over priced good. Just not really a fan, sorry.

Suuuuper over priced herb mixes but still good. Really, my only gripe here is paying 3 – 4 times the amount I could get the same or better quality teas else where. And yet I still come back! Guilty. They can get away with it because they’re in the mall and I’ve no problem paying the premium on occasion for the teas I get when I’m in the mall. The staff is always friendly, and always attentive.

I’m taking it down a notch because, now that I’ve got some slight sophistication in terms of tea, I realize that Teavana is, well, really more about price and appearance than tea. Their products are overpriced and most of the time, their tea is actually more of an herbal blend than actual tea. And seriously, what is with that annoying upsell. If I say I’m buying 2oz, don’t put 2.8 and ask me if that’s cool. It’s not. And no, I don’t want four of these glass tumblers, one is fine, do I look like I have four mouths? It’s a good starter place, and maybe for some, Teavana is enough.

WOW! RUDERUDERUDE! My son and I go there a few days ago, and understand my son is probably one of the most well behaved child you will ever meet(I’m not bragging, I’m being serious). I came in to take some pictures of somethings that I wanted to purchase for someone and he wanted to go get one of the free samples. So he goes over there to get some tea and this women/lady/girl RUDELY intercepts him. I was FURIOUS then I was told I was NOT allowed to take pictures of the things that I wanted to purchase. UHM excuse me! I’m coming in her to buy you guys EXPENSIVE A$$ crap for a reason, but no I’ll go spend my 200 dollars down the street at 88Market! THANKYOU!

Pros: Teas are tasty and made with fresh fragrant ingredients Cons: wish I read the reviews before I got suckered in but yes the salespeople must be working on commission. kept pushing this and that… I walked out spending over $ 40 for 2 mixed teas and the containers. Did I really need the containers? Now one of the containers won’t open and close without some real force, not sure why. Will try to return it. oh yeh it’s in the mall so parking is not fun and if I just want tea, have to trek it over. this is a «treat». I think I can order it online once I figure out what I like.

Teavana. You are possibly the greatest discovery in my life. If I died, I pray that I could walk into the light towards you. .No but seriously, I absolutely love this place. Tea is an obsession of mine. A remedy for just about anything and everything. Every time I walk by this place I literally have to control myself and keep on walking. It’s bad, real bad. It’s like my crack and I spend loads of money on it. Back to the store. Downfall, it’s in the mall. I hate the mall. Another downfall, it’s so small. Every time I walk around I feel like I’m somehow going to tip over one of the expensive tea pot sets. Service is what it is. You walk in, they greet you, ask if you need help choosing, or if you’d like to take a whiff of some the tea leaves. SOME associates here are snotty while others are super friendly. People often think the tea is over priced. It really isn’t, believe me. You can go to other places that offer loose tea leaves and they will charge the same or even more. Loose tea leaves; taste better, lasts longer and can often be brewed more than once. If you love tea and care about taste and quality, you know this is reasonably priced. It’s definitely heaven here for me. I recommend it for real tea lovers who are sorta on a budget.

This store seems a bit too small for all the little breakable things that they sell, especially with it being located inside a very busy mall with kids running around. Theresa at Teavana helped me out and gave me a sample of a slightly sweet peachy tea. I ended up buying a cup of it to drink since it was that tasty. Iced Peach Momotaro blossoming tea for $ 5.99+tax. Plus side; each tea blossom can be steeped again for numerous times.

Okay, Clover math. 5 stars for free tea samples, 4 stars for selection of hard-to-find tea swag, but only 1 star for making something as cool as tea so ‘mall’

As I walked around Teavana, I wondered what drink I would be if I had to be some sort of tasty beverage? I wandered around looking at all the different varieties of tea they had here and hoped that I could have a cool name like Jasmine Dragon Phoenix if I were a drink… JDP happens to be my favorite tea at Teavana btw, smooth and fragrant… each pearl unfolds slowly as it steeps and it’s just pure heaven. I heart tea. All types! Teavana definitely delivers with offering a plethora of teas. They are a bit pricey but if you enjoy tea and i don’t mean the Lipton’s kind and understand the art of tea making, then the price doesn’t really come into play. This is a great place to get a gift that is a little different, they have plenty of starter kits to choose from and small items for the tea lover you know. The service was friendly and the samples of their tea are great to experiment with if you are not ready to drop the $ 12 bucks for 2oz of tea. They will also steep the tea of your choice for you if you ask.

Teas, teas and more teas. This place has more teas then any store I’ve been to outside of the Asian markets. They always have free samples at the front of the store. Price is a bit steep but they have everything you could want if you like teas. Inside the SouthCenter mall in the new side.
