We discovered this delicious little taqueria while driving home from the Sierras. Desperate for good Mexican food and not getting any leads from Siri/iPhone(except Del Taco!), we took a chance on a strip mall off of Hwy 99. Ayala’s is a very clean restaurant with friendly staff and sizable menu. We started with the flautas plate(to share) and were surprised to get a hefty portion that could easily be dinner for 1 – 2. The flautas were piping hot and filled with tender chicken — just made I’m sure! The tacos were also delicious. Ayala’s house made salsas(including one with fresh cabbage) were the icing on the cake. I’ll definitely return if I’m ever in Turlock again.
