There credit card machine was down but owner only had sign in order board. There was a long slow line that I had to wait in the drive through!!! And I had no cash!!! I am just writing this because if owner cared he would of put sign at entrance of line so customers who had no cash wouldn’t of had to wait half hour with no food

Our first visit to El Pollo Loco on Countryside Drive, or anywhere. The drive thru wasn’t busy on a Saturday at 5:30 pm. I placed my order with no problem. Upon arriving at the pay/​pick up window the cashier read off a completely wrong order. Upon clarifying, I paid and the correct order was received. Got home and the food was just as I expected, fresh and delicious. I shall return.

Very impressed with food and friendly fast service at drive thru. Had baja shrimp tostada and double chicken avocado salad (under 500 calories). First time there. Comparable to mexican restaurant and no grease! Will go back

What can I say, I love their carne asada tacos. I always get mine with only avocado and they are great. The menu is great and their chicken is sooo good. The noise level takes a little getting used to because you can hear the guy chopping the chicken. The prices are great and always service with a smile. I am definitely a fan. Don’t forget the churros, they are great if you like something sweet after a great meal.

I went through the drive thru and it was very fast. The workers were friendly and actually looked like they wanted to be there. My food was yummy and they always get my order correct :-) I love this place because there are lots of different options especially if you’re trying to eat healthier.

There aren’t too many fast food options around the University that are fast, fresh and healthy but El Pollo Loco is one of them! I come here at least 1 – 2 times a week during the semester. They have a large variety of mexican dishes to choose from. The main thing I love about them is the way their grilled chicken tastes. It isn’t the most flavorful chicken, but it is cooked to perfection! I fix the flavor of the chicken by always dipping it into their cilantro dressing, yumm!

For fast food, el Pollo Loco is great. I love that their food tastes fresh and has a lot of flavor than it. I especially like that they have options for people who want to live healthy lifestyles. There is a great under 500 cal menu that I order off of quite frequently. Everything that I’ve tried on that menu has been really good so far. I also use this restaurant for catering, which is really affordable and they go out of their way to make sure that you have everything that you need. If you order on a regular basis, they even offer discounts and sometimes deliver for free

Went through the drive thru for a quick lunch. My chips were stale, pico de gallo salsa had NO flavor. Plus my chicken avocado burrito was wrapped sloppy with mostly lettuce in it. DO NOT recommend eating here.

I came to El Pollo Loco to try out their shredded pork carnitas torta sandwich. I had a coupon (get these all the time in the mail) so that gave me an excuse to try their newest menu innovation.
The person who took my order was the same person who welcomed me in. Very friendly and nice. He took my order and repeated it to me.
My food came pretty quickly. One of things I love about El Pollo Loco is the salsa bar. Lots of choices depending on your tolerance for heat. When I order a burrito, I use up a lot of salsa.
The torta was pretty good, but after a few bites the meat had fallen out the bottom of the roll. I had to ask for a fork to reassemble it. It was messy but tasty.
I was disappointed in the tortilla chips I received. They were not fresh or very crispy, and were on the bland side. Minus one star for that.

Our first time at this one & was very pleased. The chicken is so good & fresh! Clean place & the staff are so sweet! The Assistant Manager came around the dining area to see if we needed hand wiped, toothpicks or napkins. Very impressed!

Not what i expected from a fast food establishment, its good! The food was really good. Unfortunately, when i went it, they had ran out of rice. And i love rice. So they removed the charge off my order and offered a free side. Sick! great was to bounce back because it didnt take long for them to figure out what to do.
