I had a very pleasant experience here with its staff! I had called the day before I went to put some items on hold that this location had but the Modesto one didn’t. The sweet lady asked me for the item numbers and put all 9 centerpieces on hold for me. When I picked it up the next day, the ladies there were beyond helpful! They wrapped all the pieces very well because it was all glass. Since that took a while, they kept talking to me and seemed genuinely interested in the event I was throwing. One of the associates even helped me put everything in my car since I came in alone

Pier 1 has some nice merchandise which is why I went there when needing a new end table. The products have gotten limited over time and some items are clearly over priced for the quality. The service is a bit below average for what I’m accustomed to in a store of this nature.

I’m just not the kinda girl that spends 25 $ on a candle holder. I am sure this place is good for some but honestly it is way over priced and most of this crap you can get online for half the price. Its not like high end or high quality. IDK I will give it 3 stars just because If you have the money to waste more power to you.

They ALWAYS have something fun and cool to add around the house! I don’t think we ever go in and not leave with something.

I enjoy looking at all the neat stiff they have… I did buy a few pieces of art work from here. I would have to say some of the stuff is overpriced and I can find it at bed bath and beyond a bit cheaper :-)

I really enjoy browsing through these stores. They have all kinds of great things to look at. You could actually furnish your home with Pier 1 merchandise. Have purchased some small items from time to time. For the most part they are really overpriced. Can’t see spending 10.00 for something I can get for 5.95 somewhere else.
