I usually don’t review grocery stores but this place deserve a shout out. They are awesome! They are not my regular grocery store but I might have to reconsider. From the time I walked in to the time I walked out, there wasn’t a single associate that did not ask if there was something they could help me with. Whether it was to get me a cart, help me find an item, get me to a quicker line this places number one priority are its customers. I usually shop at another local grocery store and those associates usually make sure not to make any eye contact so they don’t have to answer any questions or have to go out of their way to help. This place is different and I highly recommend people make this their go to grocery store!

I enjoy Save Mart’s baked goods. They’re always available and cheap. It is a smaller store but it’s never too busy.

My first impression when I walked into Save Mart: wow, it’s nice and bright in here! I’ve been to several stores where some of the lights were turned off to save electricity. That tends to make the place look dingy, but that was not the case at Save Mart.
Prices are lower compared to Safeway on a good number of items. I found ground turkey for a dollar a pound less than Safeway’s price, and romaine lettuce for 50 cents a bunch less. When I was waiting in the checkout line, the adjacent line became empty. So the checker invited me over to her lane. The staff seems cheery and friendly.
The only down side about Save Mart is that their selection is not as large compared to the big national supermarkets, but that’s because they have a much smaller footprint.
Maybe this is the best reason to shop here: Boudin clam chowder on sale! That’s what brought me to Save Mart in the first place.

there a little pricey but I visit there when they have steak or chicken on sale. because they cut them just right. but for certain other things they have gotten a bit pricey but its still a good store too visit.

Faithful SaveMart shopper! Enjoy the «we all know ya» feeling when you come here. Everyone is nice and the lines aren’t ever backed up crazy, if they are they call someone quick, good

I wish their selection was bigger, but I understand, given the size of the store. I shop here most frequently and have had very few negative experiences. 99% of the time the staff was great. I only had one experience with a rude checker, but all other times she was friendly (bad day maybe? Either way, I let it go). Solid store, decent prices, lines are never too long.

Yes, it could be cleaner, have better selection, and have more natural foods like sprouted bread (please get sprouted bread!!), but the people are so much nicer than raleys. People really make the difference and it is nice to deal with friendly people.
