Sonic Drive In

No one there on a Monday Nite. Ordered a number 11 with fries n Chicken strips were very good, higher quality definitely. Fries were made fresh crunchy as well. Chocolate milkshake packed on with wip also good. Cheeseburger had great taste. Will return.

It is 9÷5÷2015 Saturday night. Seems like the store was majorly understaffed but Priscilla was great and you could definitely tell that she was working hard. We greatly appreciated her efforts. Just happened to get off the freeway to grab a bite and with different service it could’ve been a bad experience. Two thumbs way up for her.

No hours posted online, drove up to drive through and all lights were on, even the open sign. No response from inside then the delivery driver going through the back door said they closed 30 minutes ago. At least Monte Vista has hours online… Sign on ordering sign in drive through said they don’t do 1\2 price shakes\slushes.

Buzzed for service. several minutes to hear a response. ordered. Received food after 15 minutes missing items. Buzzed for service. Took another 5 minutes to get a response. Informed them of mistake… ANOTHER 15 MINUTES later. we get the missing cheeseburger and fries. Way to long for a fast food establishment.

The place is okay for a burger joint. It looks a but rundown, which I was surprised. My wife had an outstanding milkshake. I liked that they serve tater tots. The service is pretty good. I wish that they would take better care of the place, it’s all about impression.

Breakfast burritos taste off. Gave mine away. Very odd taste. Very disappointed because I’ve had good sonic breakfasts

Very slow and also don’t Sell stuff that is on the menu. What a let down. Use to like this place.

I went at 11:30 at night, so admittedly that’s probably not the ideal time to be at this establishment. But here is my review of what I saw:
My first impression was the bathroom, which as stated in other reviews was repulsive to say the least. Some sort of fluid (I’m assuming urine but I did not to any chemical analysis to prove that) was all over the floor, toilet and parts of the wall around the toilet and urinal. There were also dead bugs in the urinal itself. Needless to say, I should have waited till I got home. Don’t stop here for the restroom.
The ordering process was very fast and simple, and food came out within 5 minutes. So that was awesome.
I got the popcorn chicken combo which was your average delicious sonic food.
My mom got the grilled cheese and it was absolutely disgusting, very dry tasting and just nasty. I tried some and regretted it immediately. My dad seemed happy with his footling hot dog (which looked delicious.) So overall this place was a pretty disappointing Sonic location. If I drove through that area again id probably skip out on it and give Taco Bell a shot.

If you enjoy urine all over the bathroom seats and floors then this is the place for you. If the cleanliness of the bathrooms is any indication of the cleanliness of the restaurant I don’t think you want to eat here.

The best selection here is the Chicago Dog. Honestly the rest of the good is really not that good however the service is always fast and friendly

Why would anyone think fast food is good, it’s all crap, do yourself a favor and stop putting this garbage down your throat

Fast service. I like the sonic concept of staying in your car eating and leaving. Bought 2 hotdogs, tater tots, soda, corndog for total of 13 bucks. Not bad. Stopped by during a road trip. Nothing bad to say bout this place since it was just a quick stop. Would prob go again. They need to have one in Sacramento

I worked for Sonic for about a month, years ago and believe it or not I had never eaten there until like 2 months ago when I discovered how great the food was! Granted I haven’t tried everything but everything I have tried is great! It’s hot, fresh, never dried out. To top it off the customer service is great especially in the drive through. What more could you want? Thanks guys if I’m ever in Turlock I always stop by!

I love sonic. But this location is a hit or miss. The only thing I order from here is the real fruit slushies and theyre bomb! But this one either makes them good or there so weak they’re white. Id rather go to another location and know for sure my quality is going to be good. The employees are always really nice!

Do not go for breakfast. Went in and ordered breakfast sandwich with tater tots at 7am. They say it will be a wait because the fryer is not hot yet? What the hell? Do not serve breakfast if you are not ready. Both locations in Turlock have the same issue.

Burger was good. Big chunks of tomato, meaty patty, soft bun. However, fries were tasteless even though they were fresh. Shake was also bland. Sure not like I remember when I lived in Oklahoma.

I used to go to this Sonic all of the time when I lived in Turlock. Since I have left this establishment has gone downhill… I mean DOWNHILL!!! I do not live in Turlock anymore but I do go to sonic when I’m in town, and the service is horrible and all the kids that work are bratty and what I mean by that is last time I went there there was a girl that had acrylics on and in the state of California it’s against health regs to have them and I told her that and she’s like, «oh well.» so if you’re gonna have that attitude with a total stranger you obviously don’t need my business…

We were on our way up to Yosemite and this was one of the many Sonics that lined the freeway. If you miss this one, don’t worry, there are about ten more at nearly every exit.
We wanted to try Sonic for a long time, but they don’t have them closer to the Bay Area. We pulled over, ordered fries and a burger and waited. Their bathroom is beyond disgusting, so you’re better off at another chain restaurant if that matters to you. What’s worse is that there fries were doused with salt. It was like pouring salt into your mouth it was so bad. yuck.

I LOVE Sonic! It is a must-​do when I am out in the farmlands. I was so excited to be stopping at one as a finale’ to our weekend road trip.
But this one… SUCKS! (you’ll see… just check out my pictures)
They do take credit cards, quite easily, which is nice. And I love sitting outside in the sun.
But the food at this one is horrible.
Ooooh! PEPPERJACK Cheese Tots??? YES!!!
Hey wait a minute… They forgot the cheese. They sorta-​quickly brought out another order. This isn’t pepperjack cheese. It’s white hardening ick. These are so much tastier with ranch.
I took a second look at the «forgotten cheese» tots and come to discover… They are resting on a square of leathery orange cheese.
Yuk. So much for my golden bites of heaven…
I also ordered an extra long coney chili cheese dog. Mine didn’t have enough chili or cheese. My BF’s was loaded with it. This thing is disgusting.
It even made the cherry slushie taste like crap.
And the service was slow too, considering how un-​crowded this place was.
My word of advice… Keep cruising the 99 and visit a different Sonic!
