Great bar first time here all the people were so nice and friendly. My friend ordered me some pineapple melon thing and it was amazing they have all kinds of drinks. Glen was really nice too great man!

I have been to Staley’s many times and like the bar, last week went to get a drink and their was a new bartender I have never seen there before. I received terrible service, not a hello or thank you. Just plain rude. Doesn’t she understand customer service is important for her to make tips. She might need to find elsewhere to work, not a people person.

First off, Staley’s club is not a club in the sense of going to a place with disco balls dj’s and dancing. Appearance wise it’s what you expect from a regular bar. Darkened lighting booths and a bar some tv’ s and guys chattering saying things like«…Nul and Void»! People watching and convo listening was fun. But I saw no bartender. Finally a lady came from a back room behind me. She walked behind the bar. I waited 15 min. No one came to take my order. She seemed to be by herself and overwhelmed. I left. I will check this bar out another day and hopefully have a better experience

It’s a choice of bars in Turlock if you don’t mind the big crowds and great friendly atmosphere. The bartenders are always friendly and they do their best to serve you. It’s a very clean facility, and they have a full bar as most don’t. I love the juke box they have, and the variety of music they have in there system. It’s a no smoking bar, so you don’t have to worry about getting second hand smoking. The people that come here are mostly professionals if not they have goals. There an outside smoke area as well as parking in the back. Of all my years I’ve been here I’ve never been disappointed in coming here as it’s a great to bring friends, and family. I like to thank the owner and the bartenders that do a kick butt job keeping up control with the crowds of people and not having the trash but keep the good and out with the bad.

Staley’s is a great small town dive bar that is full of friendly regulars. Tonight it was full of cute local women too. I don’t know if the staff at Staley’s reads these reviews but in case they do I want to apologize for my friend. It’s partially my fault because I kept buying him drinks when I knew he was drunk but I’ve never been good at telling a grown man he’s had too much and I didn’t want to stop myself. I probably won’t be back because my friend is the only reason I come to Turlock and I’m pretty sure he’s 86’d after tonight. I’m sad because I really like Staley’s, I guess We’ll hang out at Grizzly Café or Wellington when I’m in town. My friend really is a good guy, he’s just got some complicated shit going on right now. Again, sorry about tonight.

This place was a cool place. Exudes seedy bar that just seems like a lot of fun. Great cross section of people. Music machine. Friendly bar staff. Made me feel like home at this place.

I found this bar around 4 years ago when I moved to Turlock. I worked out a deal with management to create what quickly became known as the best karaōke show in the county. The business was booming, drink were pouring and everyone who stepped into this bar on a Karaōke night left that evening with a memory of a good time that was sure to last a long time. Eventually the owner sold the place and the new owners fired staff that had been working there for over a decade. Some of the new staff are pretty damn rad and I would suggest spending some time while you are visiting this place to get to know them! Karaōke was the last in a long chain of changes to be affected but eventually even the«best thing to happen to downtown on Tuesday nights» was destroyed. The best Karaōke bar in Stanislaus county sold out to a jukebox that had karaōke on it. Charging your patrons to sing a song is absurd. After a short month of horrible sound, no mediation and a drop in sales, management thought it would be a grand idea to reinstate a Karaōke night. Unfortunately, it will never be the same. If you wish to have a fun night of karaōke in Turlock on a Tuesday, this place isn’t horrible. One of the coolest bartenders is on Tuesday. They have loud speakers, newer dance songs and a decent selection of karaōke tracks. There are other bars that provide karaōke in Turlock on other nights. I suggest you try them all before making a final conclusion about the scene in this small town. I prefer the karaōke at the other places. If you read this review and agreed or disagreed, feel free to comment on it!

Going to Staley’s is like going to your high school reunion, which is nice because I actually didn’t go to mine. I swear every time I visit Turlock and stop by Staley’s I’m bound to run into a bunch of people that I went to high school with. Sometimes the chance encounters are welcome and it’s an opportunity to catch up on what has been going on in our lives since the last time we have seen each other. Other times you run into someone from the past who wants to give you a piece of their mind for some perceived wrong done to them during your teen years. Either way it’s a trip down memory lane when you go to Staley’s. It’s your standard dive bar but I’m giving it 4 stars because when I ordered shots of Patron the bartender asked me if I could wait a bit while she put the bottle on ice so it could chill. A classy move that you wouldn’t expect at a dive bar where you are more likely to see people gulping down Jose Cuervo.
