My first time coming here it was good. I ordered the German chocolate cake which was good just a Bit dry… On other hand I also got the banana nut, which was really really good… I would most definitely get that one again. I like how the bakery looks clean and how the cakes are nicely displayed. It’s very eye catching…

I can finally speak to Sunrise Bakery’s cakes and let me say… DELICIOUS! I ordered a marble cake with coconut custard filling topped with coconut flakes as well as a marble cake with strawberry custard filling. I left the design of the cake primarily up to Sargon and his staff only asking that it be simple, elegant and reasonably priced and they certainly delivered. Of the 35 guests we had, almost every guest praised the taste and look of the cakes and asked for the bakery’s information.
Honestly, don’t bother looking elsewhere to get your next cake. I live in New York City and can’t wait to go back to my hometown and get another cake made by Sunrise. Thanks Sargon and staff!

Sunrise Bakery did my wedding cake this past weekend. It was decorated beautifully and absolutely delicious! I have received so many compliments! We went with the marble cake with hazelnut frosting as well as white cake with strawberry filling and a whipped icing. It couldn’t have been more perfect! Thank you Sunrise for being so prompt and thorough. It is much appreciated!

This bakery is absolutely great. They have eggless cakes and a wife variety to chose from. I usually come here to get birthday cakes for everyone. The cupcakes and pastries are really good too. The pricing is reasonable and the service is also great.

I moved to Central Valley about a year ago from the Bay Area where there are plenty of good bakeries. Not out here! I was looking for a place to get a friends wedding cake and found Sunrise Bakery on Unilocal.I got a delicious Chocolate Mousse Cake that is so yummy I had to go back and get one just for myself! Service is great. And so many other items are sold there. I got some of the biggest Sunflower Seeds I have ever seen there last week, awesome! I’m ordering some sourdough bread (special order) to take to my Aunt in Minnesota. She misses the good bread from the Bay Area! I’m sure it will be yummy!

Hands Down!!! the best bakery ever!!! Their cream puffs are to die for everything is actually. Sargon and his family are so great to work with and accomodating. They did my dessert table and cake which was marble and hazel nut i had everyone at the wedding asking where we got our cake from. I went back last week and got my dads birthday cake from them. I look forward to working with them in the future.

Sargon and family were amazing and so easy to work with. He made my wedding cake and it was so delicious. I would definitely work with them again!

All the desserts here are delicious. My favorites are the cream cheese pockets and the strawberry/​cream croissant. The prices are good. I like this bakery better than Old Thyme. They also sell beautiful teapots. You can dine in or take-​out.

I really can’t believe this place has so many good reviews. I placed an order for my daughters first birthday cake. I even emailed them a picture. They did not make it the way I requested, at all… and it was very very simple! They made a cake for a girl all BLUE. When I told them how unhappy I was, they added some pink frosting and tried to fix it for me the best they could in a rush. It still looked bad. To top it off, it did not taste good and it was really dry. I was actually embarrassed serving it to my guests. I will never EVER return here.

OMG, I waited way too long to post my review of Sunrise Bakery, but boy do you need to go try them right away, delish!
I dropped by after lunch on my drive up the valley on 99 after seeing the lovely seating and very pretty shop next to the sandwich place. There weren’t many people around, and I don’t know why because the ladies working the counter were so nice and had so many beautiful and tasty treats. I was greeted warmly and offered great responses to my questions about their baked items. They had a ton of goods for sale, from nuts to dried fruit to breads and packaged items.
I ended up getting an assortment of cookies, a scone and a great sweet bread from Armenia. The cookies were OK, the bakery specialty was a little dry with lots of cinnamon. The blueberry scone was fantastic, light dough with a velvety sweet glaze. The real star was the badam bouree, a sweet bread with cinnamon and cardamom. The spices add an extra flavor that adds a complex and sumptuous taste to this regional delight.
Next time you need some sweets, some bread, a cake or anything else baked, come in to Sunrise Bakery for a great treat.

If you’re a fan of all the baking shows like cake boss, then you have to check out this place. We have our own little rockin bakery right here in Turlock. PLUS! They are open till 7 at night with all they pastries and pies and muffins you could want! After dinner pie run is what I’m talking about! The family that owns it are awesome and are always so great with our kids.

Wow! First off I just wanna say I’m new to the Turlock area and some of my friends recommended sunrise bakery to me. Let me say this is the best bakery I have been to in years. All the pastries and cookies were so delicious and fresh I wish there was on of these in San Jose (where I live).
If your in the Turlock area or just passing by please stop by and have yourself a little bite of heaven.

Filameh did an AMAZING job with my wedding cake. Her and her son in law really took the time to put up with my oh so picky self. Believe it or not, I am from the Bay and was not pleased with the bakeries and decided to not go with them. The cake was delicious, moist, and gorgeous! Also, the price was perfect and well within my budget.

They made my daughter’s first birthday cake and it was fabulous. The cake was delicious and moist and it was so cute. Everyone was so impressed with how the cake looked and I loved it. Worth every penny for sure.

Sunrise Bakery makes the best Chada, I love going there when I am in Turlock visiting my family. I also have it sent to me in Arlington Heights, IL. Just got my new batch. unfortunately the squirls got to it first.

WOW they had so many different types of cakes here. Some were great, the mango was amazing, but some other slices that I got was not tasting so fresh. Would definitely get the mango again!
Wonderful presentation.
The pastries was not fresh so I would not recommend them.
