Yogurt bowl is amazing!!! I love the breakfast items. Breakfast burrito, quiche, and quinoa cakes I get the most. Always delicious. Coffee is okay, nothing too special but the iced tea was good! I’m giving 4 stars because the service could use a face lift. Some employees are very friendly others are just not at all. No eye contact, no verbal communication. Very strange? Other than that I love coming here to work!

I like this place and its vibe. The drinks were good. They were not too sweet and had a good balance of actual tea flavor. 1. The Berry Hibiscus Herbal Tea with Strawberry Infusion mild strawberry flavor lots of tea. 2. My friend had the Green tea with Strawberry and added Soy Milk. The tea flavor was stronger in this one, but the strawberry was lacking. I gave it a four due to the air being off(shortage) and the fact that comfortable seating was limited. Also, I think the Strawberry was OK. I prefer the strawberry at 7 leaves tea. Thanks :)

Stopped by The Lost Bean on a Saturday morning because it was kind of on the way to where I was going. Ending up having breakfast with my sister and boyfriend. We each ordered different things including: the Breakfast Burrito, the American Scramble and the Eggs Benedict. I’d just like to mention that it was very surprising to me that The Lost Bean had kind of a coffeeshop vibe where people can come to get work done but they also have a large extensive menu of food options from breakfast to lunch. It would be a great study spot except it was way to loud and crowded. Maybe it was because I went during breakfast rush? The Eggs Benedict were cooked perfectly and served with a side of season potatoes which are too die for. The scramble was pretty basic, it came with toast, eggs, potatoes and avocado. I feel like they skimped out on the potatoes not this dish because it was a sparse portion that barely looked acceptable plated. We would pass on the breakfast burrito, got it after reading some Unilocal reviews but honestly this is not the place to get a breakfast burrito.

Nice little place for coffee and breakfast. I like the vibe here. Small and cozy with plenty of places to sit. Good place to work because of the free wifi.

This place caught me by surprise. I didn’t even bookmark this place on Unilocal because I haven’t heard much about it until a friend of mine wanted to study here early afternoon. I ordered their iced coffee and it was better than I expected. I used the discount code on Unilocal($ 2.61including tax) and it tasted a bit acidic, yet still refreshing. I have heard they’re more popular for their other drinks so I will definitely be giving those a shot when I come back. Interior here is amazing and I loved the atmosphere. It is very spacious with a lot of seating(they have plenty of more seats in their extra room) and a great place to study. My friends and I were able to get a lot of work done because the place is very nice, quiet, and cozy. Wifi is also fast and free which is always a plus. Parking is very weird here. There are very limited spaces, and even when you do find parking, most spots say that parking is only for 1 hour before 6PM. Other spots will only allow you to park for 15 – 20 minutes. I went on a Sunday and studied at the café for about 3 hours, but thankfully I did not get a ticket or get my car towed. All in all, it’s a pretty solid place to study, grab a satisfying meal, and drink some decent coffee.

I usually come here for the chicken sausage breakfast burrito and panda pear tea. Never disappoints! It does tend to get busy so make sure you get a receipt when you order to make sure they get your orders correct.

A day after my first visit, I’m still dreaming of their hot and frothy chai latte made with soy milk. Creamy, delicious, hot and a refreshing gingery bite! I’ve had a lot of chai from all different coffee shops as well as bagged tea but this one takes the cake! Which brings me to their banana chocolate chip muffin. Deceiving little muffin… sitting coyly between all of the coffee cake slices and random breakfast goodies. I didn’t think much of it until I cut my fork into it. Dense, yet fluffy, flecked with ripe banana and jumbo chocolate chips! Did I mention that the chocolate was a little melty?! Oh yeah. I immediately told my 4 year old he HAD to try it! He was quite content with his fresh cup of OJ and was having none of it. Had he known it was more reminiscent of banana cake, he just might have taken me up on it. But… more for me! :D My son also got a sprinkled sugar cookie but I didn’t get to try it. Something to have next time, because this is definitely one of my new breakfast faves! **update: both the 4 yo and 20mo handed me back unfinished cookies. I tried it and it was very floury tasing. I’ll avoid the sugar cookies go forward.** I’m also not sure if coffeegirl crushing could be a thing, but I’m absolutely in love with the layout; bar stools, wooden benches, mis-matched chairs, rustic paint, marble counter top, etc. The staff is great, the food is amazing, the parking is ample and the environment is top notch. Definitely worth a gander!

Horrible customer service… I don’t understand the 4.5 stars. Good Ambiance sure. Ordered two cups of their fresh juices, breakfast burrito, and a slice of broccoli cheese quiche. Fresh juice was good. Breakfast burrito was tiny and expensive. Coming from San Diego, this burrito is like half of the size of a real breakfast burrito at any local burrito shop. Filled with a lot of potatoes and eggs but not much meat nor anything else. Broccoli cheese Quiche– very disappointed, WHOPUTSQUICHEINMICROWAVE? YOUSUPPOSEDTOBAKEITTOREHEATIT… so yes the crust was soggy and I don’t really know what to say. One bite and i was done with that crust. Egg part was basically egg and«some broccoli» and flavor was just alright but I wouldn’t say it’s tasty. Customer service was bad. The girl at the counter was rude and unfriendly when I was trying to order things and she just seem annoyed. Oh and she forgot my quiche. She took the number back so I had to go up to her to ask for my quiche and she showed no concern nor sorry and just said oh. Yeah one star for the ambiance and the juice.

Cute place with wonderful selection of organic coffee, tea and desserts. However, the breakfast we got weren’t up to par. The Valentine special French toast with banana foster was very yummy. However, my chicken crêpe with creamy mushroom sauce wasn’t good. The grilled chicken was way over cooked, super dry! I had to send back and the girl apologized and asked if I would like something else instead, so I asked for egg Benedict. The eggs were perfectly poached but the hollandaise sauce was broken, the oil and the base were separated resulting a non-creamy sauce… I didn’t want to send it back again so just scraped off the sauce and ate the eggs. I don’t love their coffee but not the food… I’ll come back another time to try other dishes.

This is a gem of a coffee spot. It’s one of those places I hate to review because I don’t want it to become even more crowded, but sharing is caring or so I hear… The night I went they were having a open mic night. Such a fun little place to get some amazing coffee and listen to some good talent. It might be a tad on the expensive side, but you are paying for organic coffee, & I think their small size is definitely bigger than a tall at starbucks, so you get more bang for your buck here.

We enjoyed our breakfast and coffee at The Lost Bean during a recent trip to the OC. Service was friendly by the cashier, and there was limited parking available in the private lot. We sampled the Quinoa Cakes, Omelettes, Coffee, and Quiches. All of the food was fresh and tasty, but it did take quite some time for it to come out to the table. I especially liked the Quinoa cakes– fresh, filling, and healthy! Other members of our group really enjoyed the coffee drinks! The coffee was strong and robust, and drinks from the bar had plenty of milk foam! For what is was, the food and drinks were quite expensive for Tustin…

Wow… Very rare occasion but Unilocal has completely let me down. I can’t even begin to tell you all how underwhelming this experience was! Arrived around 10:50 ish with my mom to have some breakfast… We check in and use the 10% discount… The cost was still around 18 dollars — ehh slightly pricey. I’ll tell you one thing… what we ate wasn not worth 12 dollars; heck, I wouldn’t pay 10 for that sad excuse of a «breakfast.» I had the Mediterranean scramble with toast and fruits. Ughh. Just so disappointed. I really really wanted to like this place since I had it bookmarked for a while. It was a measly portion of eggs served on a huge plate. The eggs tasted of nothing; it was soooo weird. The feta cheese gave it a slight salty-creamy flavor but it didn’t have the sharpness that I look for in great feta cheese. The spinach was whatever, it really did nothing to enhance the dish other than add a little texture. The sun dried tomatoes were also bland, literally tasted of nothingness. So weird. I promise I didn’t have a cold when eating this food. The wheat bread was boring and the fruit bowl was such a let down. They packed it with mainly honey dew — since honey dew pieces are bigger — in order to take up space and a few pieces of pineapples and grapes. Very similar to Denny’s fruit bowl — NOVARIETYWHATSOEVER. My mom had the bagel with a side of tomatoes and avocado. The avocados and tomatoes were totally unseasoned and her bagel was BURNT! Yes you heard correctly BURNT on the edges. The most disappointing aspect for me was the coffee. Like seriously, this place is called the lost bean. With a name like that I expect the coffee to match or surpass the coffee of Portola coffee lab and Urth Café. Heck with a name like that this coffee better be sacred in someway. Ok… I kid. But wow it was boring. I had the La Paz — not on the menu — which was suggested by an employee. It’s basically just a regular latte(sugar on the bottom, espresso over the sugar, then topped with foamy milk). I asked for it in a mug — I hoped they would make a cool, creamy pattern like Portola Coffee Lab but NOPE. It literally came out in the most ghetto coffee mug you’ve ever seen in you’re life. Like I promise you the mugs you have at you’re home are more respectable then this mug. It looked like a mug out of a 1970s sitcom. This mug was the ugliest thing I’ve seen in my life, and I’ve seen some ugly mugs in my lifetime let me tell you. Ok I’ll stop hammering the mug. But it seriously was ugly and what annoys me is that I’ve seen the other pictures on their Unilocal page where the mugs looked nice and normal. Why didn’t I get one of those? Kinda let down, I really wanted to like this place :( idk …might give them another shot and get something else.

I’m sorry, Lost Bean. I really want to love you. You’re a nice, privately-owned coffee shop, and I love what you’re trying to do. But tonight’s experience was really a bit of a bummer. First off, I would like to compliment their décor. The Lost Bean has a nice bohemian, hipster-but-not-too-cool sort of feel to it. It’s nice inside, and there are two rooms – one that is more of a café, and another room which seems to be used for wine and beer tasting. The location is not huge, but it is a nice size. That being said, the layout feels somewhat inefficient. It feels like they should be able to fit several more tables than they do, but alas. I sat in the last available seat in the café room. They also have nice ceramic cups in addition to the usual paper to-go cups! The service was a little odd. There was a youngish guy serving as barista and cashier, and he seemed to be doing well at making conversation with customers. When I spoke with him, though, I asked him for a nice latte recommendation, and he informed me that he doesn’t really like lattes. I get that not everyone likes them, but lattes are essentially a barista’s bread and butter – I was surprised that there wasn’t one that he’d recommend. I ended up getting a hazelnut latte and an oatmeal raisin cookie, and the barista-shier had it out for me quickly. The latte itself was a bummer. I see why the barista-shier didn’t have a favorite – the coffee tastes odd in a not-so-good sort of way, and the flavor really didn’t add much to the experience. There was no attempt to make it look pretty; it was essentially just steamed milk poured into espresso without much concern for presentation. The cookie was fine but totally unexceptional. I could see coming for breakfast, as people seem to love breakfast here, but it’s such a bummer when the coffee at a coffee shop is just kind of «ehh.» Sorry, Lost Bean. Hopefully, next time will be better.

Another great breakfast item destination. Tried the banana blueberry bread, pretty good not too sweet. The breakfast burrito was filled with sausage(you can pick), burning hot potatoes and eggs. The quesadilla was pretty good as well, it just doesn’t have potatoes. The tea infusions are soy milk based, at least the time I went, so be sure to check if this is not what you are looking for.

Wow this place is packed! The crowd kept flowing in on a Thursday morning. This spot is definitely great for a grab-a-cup and run kind of day. Although the layout is big and wraps around into another room with a few table tops and bar seatings, it might not be the best atmosphere for a work/study sesh. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was nervous to break out of my comfort zone and try a Carmel macchiato instead of a caramel latte but it worked out! The drink was good. I wasn’t amazed by it, mostly because I’m basic and love Carmel lattes, but I really enjoyed it. LOL, and yes I just called myself basic.

Donning coffee, food, wine, and a classy atmosphere… its easy to get lost in conversation with friends or fully immerse yourself in a project. I’ve been visiting this establishment for more than 5 years, and it has also become a new favorite of my mother’s(showing that it has something for multiple generations). The staff is extremely helpful, friendly, and can craft a wonderful cup of coffee. I have been living out of the state for the last 3 year, and enjoyed a wonderful breakfast here during my last visit to the Tustin area. The full breakfast food menu is a newer addition and(although I only tried one thing) is delicious! I tried the quinoa cakes which were hearty, came with beautifully seasoned potatoes and two eggs. The rest of the menu also looked delicious and wish I lived closer to come back and try more items, including the lemon ricotta cakes they serve on the weekend. In the evenings you can enjoy wine, giving you an alternative to putting caffeine in your body late in the day… plus I also saw a calendar in the back with events(music, wine tasting, etc) they host each month. Overall, the only think you may get lost in is the menu(so many great options)…you will remember this place and keep coming back for more.

I came here to meet up with a group of girlfriends. They have an extensive menu of coffee drinks and organic teas. They had baked goods, quiches, and breakfast sandwiches as well as crepes. I was surprised such a small space would be able to offer so much. The place was packed on a Saturday. Fortunately, they opened up the adjacent wine bar area for seating.

Awwww. Lost your bean? Maybe you should try looking here! It probably has bean a long time since you’ve seen a tea/coffee place with unique names, but that’s what the Lost Bean has! I came here when I had some down time in Tustin. Parking was kinda difficult, because there aren’t too too many places to park here. Going in, you realize that it is one of those places where you can chill and do your homework, enjoying using the wonderful wifi to do yo work. Now onto the drink! Monkey Business is what the barista cashier recommended: D. And thus I tried. It’s a chocolate banana. It has an interesting but positive flavor. If you don’t like banana too much(or if it’s not on the top 10 list), the banana is a slight afterthought and does not overpower the drink. The chocolate does that for you. AND this is coffee. Mhmm: D Only thing is that this place is a little bit more pricier than your local Starbucks, but they do have a Unilocal check in offer! Go find your bean, you human bean!

The Lost Bean has lots of seating for those who need a coffee shop with FREE wifi, food, & caffeine(there’s a 2nd room & bar in the back) on this hot summer day i was craving an ice blended drink to sip while I was doing some work on my laptop —Monkey Mocha blended: not bad, i wasn’t wowed by this drink but i’m glad the banana flavor did not taste artificial at all! i guess i gotta come back & give them another chance, ESPecially for those amazing smelling quiches! they also have breakfast specials

Literally the Lost Bean I interned in downtown Santa Ana and had been wanting to go to the Lost Bean for quite some time now. I figured, «oh lets go to a coffee shop and let traffic slow down, because who gets on the 405 at 5pm right?» So I go searching for the Lost Bean, and even my gps couldn’t get me there. It probably took me twice as long than it should’ve taken to actually get me there. I eventually found this super cute shopping center. very Spanish looking and I parked towards the back of the shops due to a very full parking lot. I entered the Lost Bean and it was around 7pm. There were multiple people either on their laptops studying or working and others simply enjoying a cup of coffee with some company. I really enjoyed the lighting at this coffee shop. The customer service was great and were able to help me decide what I wanted to drink, per usual I was being indecisive. I went with a chai tea latte. I was also hungry and chose a bacon turkey sandwich on sourdough. My food and drink were taken to my table towards the back. I was delighted by both and was so happy with my choices. The pesto on the sandwich was a little too strong for my liking but it gave the sandwich a superb flavor. Overall, wonderful atmosphere, cute décor, great drinks and food!
