No wonder there are always rooms here. Absolutely filthy floors, feet turn black! Make sure to wear flip flops the entire time your in the room. AC worked but the room was like a damp sponge. We asked for a late check out, was granted until 12p, however at 10:50 some random man came walking in our room and our keys we deactivated at 11a. And the best thing was drunk people in the pool at 3am right outside our door! Find another place to stay is my suggestion.

Staff was very nice. Rooms are small and my toilet was wobbly. It is dated. So get you what pay for. Across the street from the beach is a nice perk and free parking.

Great place to stay! Clean rooms, pet friendly, great price, short walk to the beach, amazing staff (Joy and Kim are the best!). Could not have picked a better place to stay!

We just arrived today. We were allowed to check in 2 hours early. The staff is AMAZINGLY nice. The room is spacious with hard wood laminate floors. The flat screen TV has a great picture. The A/​C is cold. The fridge and microwave work well. The microwave even has outlets to plug in other items. Super Clean. In all honesty, everyone we’ve encountered here on Tybee Island has been extremely nice and welcoming. We stayed in Savannah last night with the intent of just making a day trip to Tybee. However, after reading the Unilocal reviews, we decided just to cancel our reservation in Savannah and move it out here. Thank God we did. We will definitely make this our go-​to place for future vacations.

Only hotel available on a busy non-​holiday weekend. We paid $ 185 before taxes. The room was clean but the window AC unit was sub-​par, the bathroom was tiny and there was no hot water. The bed was like a brick and it only had a sheet and bedspread. We arrived at breakfast 1.5 hours before it was supposed to end and there wasn’t any food left.
Positives: Friendly service. 1 block from beach. Fridge and microwave in-​room.

Awesome place to stay. Rates are more then reasonable and the staff is friendly. I’ve stayed here on 2 separate occasions and when I did back in 2012, it wasn’t…great. They’ve updated quite a bit and it’s a friendly, clean, safe place to stay. I’ll be back.

The Internet BMW Riders holds an annual Low Country Boil on Tybee Island, Georgia. The Dunes has been our home base for many years. Clean rooms and a great staff.

Well, apparantly this motel turned into a Best Western, so it might be quite different, but I did a review for the Dunes Inn & Suites, which is what it used to be. They did have kitchenettes, so that’s nice.

I want to tell you that the staff is extremely friendly and I enjoyed my time there and specially, talking to Dianne. A plus is you have a bar (Sting Rays: Do not eat there btw) right next door, so you can stumble back safely, b/​c the margaritas are all doubled up at Sting Rays!
The pier is across and the beach is very convenient from there. Also, you can walk to any place you need. No need to drive unless you are carrying large packages.
One drawback is the room smelled (reeked) of cigarettes. The room was clean and the tub was impeccable (#108). I never found the remote for the TV but I should have not been watching the TV on vacation anyways! Walls are thin and I am going to assume the guys next door were on their honeymoon, if you get my DRIFT.
