Second time here while visiting family! All food was tasty and service was good. Ordered spicy pickles, chicken wings, po-boy and chicken sandwich. Only negative is fries were cold but still fine. Drinks were good too not to sweet. I would return!

This is a tough one… The server was great. However, the rest of the place is terrible. The food took for ever and tasted terrible. The bathrooms and tables were nasty. I better stop here and you should go to another place in the area.

By far the worst/slowest service I’ve experienced maybe anywhere in the country. Do not waste your time eating or even drinking here. Bartender can’t handle more than one order.

Went there during Nov, and it was dead(not really tourist time). I ordered the nachos for my meal and a mixed drink. The mixed drink was really good. The nachos were good but nothing I’d write home about. Good restaurant to grab a bit. Staff was very friendly!

OMG awesome coconut shrimp with pins colada sauce. Decent beer selection and attentive staff. Sitting outside with great music awaiting the live entertainment.

Fine spot to grab a drink on the Tybee ocean front. We got a couple of fried apps that were just as expected. Friendly service too!

Came here on Labor Day weekend. 30 minute wait which is fine but an hour wait for entrees in not fine. Waitress was rude and seemed to not care that we waited for so long. We got an app of nachos that came out cold and soggy. She waited until after we got them to take our entrée order. This place has three stories and they’re open and it was insanely windy during our meal it was hard to enjoy. Fun atmosphere but I don’t recommend coming here whatsoever.

Fun little place just off the public beach. Ample parking $ 2/hr. The buffalo shrimp was great and the bacon BBQ sliders were great.

Visited here a total of two times while staying at Tybee beach. Customer service– I would say fair, nothing outstanding. The wait staff was semi-attentive. Although on one visit while at the bar, the bartender Mary was awesome. She took great care of us. Don’t short change her or leave without paying for your bill like a couple did during one of my visits. Atmosphere– has the feel of a neighborhood bar, where everyone knows everyone. Decent view of the beach from the upper deck. Food– nothing special. Was basic bar food. The taste was good and arrived hot.

An oceanfront bar with good food and tons of seating(both inside and out). Need I say more? No? Well, I will anyway. This is one of my favorite restaurants on Tybee Island. I haven’t tasted anything that wasn’t pretty darn good. I love the mahi mahi tacos. They’re really more like burritos(you get two), stuffed with the grilled fish and a slaw that adds texture & flavor, and are served with fresh pico de gallo, black beans, guacamole, and sour cream. The shrimp burger is also delicious. The fries are good, but I recommend paying extra for the onion rings. They’ve mastered the art of onion rings. Crispy without being burnt, the batter stays on the onion. The salads are enormous and also very good. I haven’t tried the pizzas(I always go to Huca Poos for pizza on Tybee), but the creative flavors sound amazing(the Salmon Says looks particularly tempting). The only negative: the frozen margarita. The drinks are expensive, so it’s especially disappointing to get a nearly undrinkable margarita. But man, it was bad. It was so horribly salty — and I like salt — that every sip brought to mind thoughts of drowning in the ocean. Margaritas should not taste like sea water, especially at $ 9 a pop. So, I’ll return to Fannie’s for the food and the view… and a beer.

The service was less than desirable the night my family and I were there. After being seated, we sat for 12min’s before I stopped someone and asked about a waiter or waitress. The drinks were alright and the food was decent. My grilled Tenderloin sandwich, was not what I built myself up for, but how would they know my expectations, and why would they just carter to just me. All I know is, that next time I’m really hungry, I won’t get that sandwich. The location was by the beach and the restaurant itself was was nice.

Great outdoor patio with an ocean view. It’s not right on the water, but we still enjoyed drinking at this beach bar during our weekend trip to Tybee Island. Drinks were strong(like, REALLY strong), and the bartender Julianne was very friendly. Prices are comparable to the rest of the area($ 8-$ 10 for a cocktail). We didn’t order any food, based on what people had said in previous reviews. The indoor dining area didn’t look very appealing; I highly recommend sitting on the second floor patio. Get a drink to-go, and take a walk down the beach.

This is a nice little beach bar — the drinks are strong, boo thing thinks the burgers are great and the fried shrimp are tasty as hell. There was a bit of a wait when we arrived around 6 on a weekday, but sitting at the bar circumvented that and the bartender was a capable waiter, even trying to find the women’s soccer game when asked. Overall it’s good, but it’s not the best thing out there… I’ll be keeping my eyes open in search of better options.

We had a party of 5 and decided to try Fannies(even though it didn’t have good reviews). We tried to sit upstairs with the view, but there was a 20 minute wait(it was 8:00 and we had 2 kids under 10 with us), so we sat outside, downstairs. I got the mahi sandwich(blackened) and everyone else got cheeseburgers. I loved my sandwich, but everyone else raved about their cheeseburgers. The onion rings are hand breaded and delicious. Our server, Carla, was exceptional. She went out of her way to make sure we had a great experience at Fannie’s.(When you come, you need to ask for her. Seriously.) So, even though Unilocalers don’t all agree with me, you should check this place out!

I’m not just a little surprised at the Unilocal reviews. I have been here once. Were there a few annoyances… sure. The completely trashed boomer from Chicago throwing ice behind us… the frozen fruit punch that was passed off as a mixed drink… yep. Although the former is just bad luck in where i chose to sit. But the good far out-weighs the few bads. The sub-par drink experience was redeemed with a passable complimentary mimosa for Sunday brunch and a kickass top shelf Margarita. I think it was this drink that led to the ice throwing. The food was excellent. I had a smoked salmon plate that I’d highly recommend. The wife had a shrimp and grits dish that combined the classic rendition of said dish with an Eggs Benedict. An odd combo that works imho. Others have accurately raved about the view. Service was above average. If you bother to read my review… consider a drink and brunch. You might be surprised… just like me.

Decent food. Staff was very nice and attentive. Never had an empty cup. We came here for lunch; it was pretty empty when we got there but quickly filled up. Nice spot for, a quick bite to eat.

I gave it a 1 star because you can’t give it a ZERO!!! This place is ONTHEBEACH and when me and my party walked in the lady said NOBATHINGSUITSAREALLOWED! I was like but you’re ONTHEBEACH!!! Let me clarify that all of us were covered up And had shorts on as well, only thing you could see was the straps! So we left and I WILLNEVERGOBACK!!! I could understand if our asses and boobs were hanging out, but we were completely covered!!! So my point is why do they have a restaurant ONTHEBEACH if you don’t want people with bathing suits on! I could understand if this place was a FANCY restaurant but IT’S NOT!!! I’ll make sure EVERYONE I come on contact with knows NOTTOGOTOTHISPLACE!!! The old lady that turned us away I hope she’s the reason this place closes down!

Really wished I would have read some reviews before I stopped in for a bite to eat with the old man. To start, our waitress was certainly not sober, and was very forgetful, having to reaffirm my order twice. The spinach quesadilla was fine, I added avocado to mine, but the just okay food didn’t make up for the waitress or the length of time it took us to get our food, which was much longer than I had expected. I would suggest skipping this place. There has to be better local fare somewhere.

First of all let me say that ALEX(female) was the best waitress ever!!! Sit in her area if you can. Next, we just went for a few snacks and a drink but if you’re interested in a full meal, they have an extensive menu. I am only rating the drinks and appetizers we ate. Theres a sign posted by the front door boasting«best bloody mary in tybee» and since I am a self proclaimed Bloody Mary expert I feel qualified to say they might be right. This was my third most favorite Bloody Mary ever(Following Stanley in New Orleans and Hash House a Go-Go in Las Vegas). It had all the flavorful components one looks for: acidic but not too tomatoey, spicy but not too hot(i actually added more tobasco cuz I like a lot of heat in mine), yang from the citrus/pickled veggies and just enough alcohol to make you say«yeaaaaaah» after your first sip. You’ve got to try this place if you enjoy a good BM(oh, that’s an acronym for something else too — scratch that — rewind)…if you enjoy a good Blood Mary. Also ranking tops on my list are their FRIEDPICKLES… OUTSTANDING! I don’t know if it was the type of pickle they used or this incredible spiced panko-like breading they were perfectly fried in-whatever it was, this recipe worked! Eating them dry or dipped in dressing we just couldn’t stop. Reasonably priced and definitely more than enough for two people. We also ordered the Oysters Rock-a-Fannie. They were good but missing something that we just couldn’t put our finger on. Our expectations were a bit high because we’ve had some really incredible platters of oysters rockefeller, so we don’t want to judge too harshly. Id say give them a shot and see what you think-they’re definitely worth ordering and were very fresh, not fishy at all.
